A video editor for your second YouTube channel
I'm Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. I've edited DakBlox, dakblake's second channel, as well as Puff Blox and Crazz Plays, the Roblox side channels of Puff and Crazz. This page is for creators who want a second channel without it eating the time the main one needs.

How do you edit a second YouTube channel without slowing the main one?
Treat the second channel as its own show. It gets its own brief, its own style guide, its own delivery slot and its own review step, so it never borrows time, footage or decisions from the main channel. Set up that way, a second channel adds uploads, not a second job for you to manage.
What changes when you open a second channel
A second channel usually exists because something doesn't fit on the first one. Puff's main channel is mostly Minecraft horror mods, often played in a group; Puff Blox is Roblox (Grow a Garden, The Cookie Factory). DakBlox, dakblake's second channel, describes itself as "my SECRET Roblox Youtube Channel". The edit has to follow those differences.
- Another audience. Viewers of the second channel may never have seen the main one, so the opening can't lean on inside jokes.
- Another rhythm. Upload day, length and frequency can differ, and the editing schedule has to fit both calendars.
- Another style. Titles, text, pacing and music that work on one channel can feel wrong on the other. What carries over should be a decision, not an accident.
- Twice the handoffs. Two sets of footage, notes and deadlines. Without a routine, the two channels compete for your time.
Second channels I've edited
Each one is publicly tied to its main channel, so you can check the link yourself. Subscribers as shown on each channel on October 3, 2026; videos and dates as logged on YT Jobs.
| Second channel | Main channel | Where the link is public | Videos on YT Jobs |
|---|---|---|---|
| DakBlox @DakBlox · 83.1K | dakblake (I don't edit the main channel) | "Featured Channels" on @dakblake; DakBlox descriptions include "Main Channel: @Dakblake" | 52 (Oct 2025 – Jul 2026) |
| Puff Blox @Puff_Blox · 4.26K | Puff @PuffsGaming81 (I edit it too) | "My Channels" on Puff's main channel | 37 (Jun 2025 – Jul 2026) |
| Crazz Plays @CrazzPlays · 4.48K | Crazz @crazzbloxx (I edit it too) | A post on @crazzbloxx calls it his "hidden channel" | 6 (Mar – Aug 2026) |
Every video, channel by channel, is in the portfolio. Across all client channels, YT Jobs tracks 1,233 videos and 146.9M+ views. Those views belong to the channels; they show the volume of work, not who grew what.
How to keep the second channel from eating the main channel's time
- A separate brief per channel. Who watches, what a good video looks like, what to avoid. Written once, then reused. Start from the editor brief template.
- One routine, two folders. The same way of sending footage and notes for both channels, with a separate folder and file naming for each.
- Fixed delivery slots. Each channel has its own delivery days, agreed up front, so the main upload never waits on the second channel.
- One review before you see anything. I review every edit before delivery. You watch the finished cut, and revisions come back within 24 hours.
- Room for volume. When two channels mean many uploads, a small team of trusted editors works to the written style guide, and every video still passes my review.
How to keep two styles from blending
The usual failure isn't a bad edit. It's the second channel slowly turning into a copy of the first. The fix is a one-page style guide per channel: pacing, how shots join, text on screen, fonts and colors, music level, intro, outro and a do-not list. The series style guide template covers it. Check each cut against the last published video of the same channel, never the other one. To pin down your current style, read how to match a YouTube channel's editing style.
The DakBlox case
DakBlox is dakblake's second channel, a Roblox channel that launched in October 2025. The first DakBlox video I edited was published on October 16, 2025, and YT Jobs logs 52 DakBlox videos edited by me through July 2026. I don't edit dakblake's main channel; only DakBlox. How the first months went, including how the openings were built for viewers who had never seen the channel, is in the DakBlox case study.
What creators with more than one channel say
They have been great to work with, can get a lot done, takes every detail seriously and has a quick response time. Because of there good work ethic and consistency, I was able to open multiple channels.

YT Jobs review
I love everything that he edits! He has such a good attitude, he fixes anything I need changed and the turnaround times are so fast. I also love the amazing understanding of humor and taking any funny segment in a video to a new level. So amazing and I would definitely recommend!

YT Jobs review
Quoted word for word from YT Jobs, spelling included. Puff's main channel lists several channels under "My Channels", Puff Blox among them. dakblake also reviewed the work on DakBlox. 17 of the 19 reviews are quoted on the reviews page, one per channel; all 19 are on ytjobs.co/@kevintabaress.
Should you start a second YouTube channel?
That's your call, not an editor's. Common reasons: a game or format that would confuse the main audience, more uploads without crowding the main feed, or a lower-pressure place to try something new. The cost is real: every upload still needs footage, a title, a thumbnail and an edit. If the main channel's schedule already slips, fix that first.
How working together goes
- Send the link to both channels and the footage for one video of the second channel through the contact form or by email to . Replies usually come within an hour.
- I do a free 1-minute test edit in the second channel's style, so you can judge the fit before paying anything.
- If it fits, we set the brief, the style guide and the delivery days. The first full video takes 1 to 5 days; after that, usually 1 to 2.
- Revisions until you're happy, each back within 24 hours. If after two revision rounds the edit still isn't right, you don't pay the second invoice.
No contract. Each video is quoted on its own, paid 50% or 100% up front, in USD, by PayPal or USDC. You can hand over just the second channel or both. Long-form comes first; Shorts and thumbnails are available on request.
What I won't claim. I won't tell you a second channel will grow, or that the editing is why any of these channels grew. What I can show is the channels, the public links between each main channel and its second one, the reviews in their own words, and a free 1-minute test edit on your footage.
Second channel editing FAQ
Can the same editor handle my main channel and my second channel?
Yes. For Puff and for Crazz I have edited both the main channel and the second one. For dakblake it is the other way round: I've edited only his second channel, DakBlox. Each channel keeps its own brief and style guide.
Does my second channel need a different editing style?
Only if the channel is different, and it usually is: another game, format or audience. The style guide says what carries over from the main channel and what changes, written once instead of decided again on every video.
How do you keep my second channel from delaying my main channel videos?
Each channel has its own delivery days, agreed up front, and its own footage folder. I review every edit before you see it, and for high volume a small team of trusted editors follows the written style guide.
Who edits DakBlox, dakblake's second channel?
Kevin Tabares (Umbrella Creators) has edited DakBlox, dakblake's second channel, not dakblake's main channel. YT Jobs logs 52 DakBlox videos edited by him between October 2025 and July 2026.
