YouTube editor for Bloxburg build battle channels
Long-form editing for Welcome to Bloxburg build battles, build-off challenges and transformations: hours of building turned into a timelapse that still has a story, rival builds side by side, and a reveal and a vote that pay off the title. I edit for Robuilds (262K subscribers). The basics for any Roblox video are on the Roblox editing page; this page covers what changes when the whole video is a build.

What a build battle video promises
A build battle has a simple contract with the viewer: a theme, a limit, two or more builders and a verdict at the end. "BEACH BEDROOM BUILD BATTLE in Bloxburg!" tells you the room and the rule; "Hello Kitty VS Kuromi CAFE BUILD BATTLE ft. @DaPandaGirl" tells you the theme and who the rival is. Everything the viewer sits through in the middle, they sit through to see the finished builds and find out who wins.
That is also where the format loses people. Raw Bloxburg footage is long: catalogue scrolling, placing and deleting the same wall, moving the camera, waiting. The edit has to keep the theme question alive through all of it, so the viewer feels the build taking shape rather than watching someone shop.
Bloxburg channels I edit for
Robuilds, 262K subscribers. Build battles, build-off challenges and solo transformations in Welcome to Bloxburg; the most recent projects are from August 2026. Uploads I've cut include:
- BEACH BEDROOM BUILD BATTLE in Bloxburg! (10K views)
- Hello Kitty VS Kuromi CAFE BUILD BATTLE ft. @DaPandaGirl
- BOYS VS GIRLS AUTUMN HOUSE BUILD-OFF CHALLENGE in Bloxburg Roblox
- I Turned a GAZEBO into a HOUSE in Bloxburg!
- HALLOWEEN BEDROOM BUILD-OFF CHALLENGE in Bloxburg (Roblox)
Those five were published between August and October 2025; views and subscriber counts are as recorded when this page was written. More on the channel and the work on who edits Robuilds, and every video by channel in the full portfolio.
Timelapses that keep the story
The build is most of the raw footage and most of the runtime risk. Speeding it all up evenly produces a blur nobody can follow; leaving it slow produces a shopping video. I cut the build in layers:
- Decisions at normal speed. The moment the builder picks the colour, explains the plan for a wall or changes their mind plays in real time, with the commentary intact. That is the content.
- Placement in a ramp. Rows of the same furniture, floors, roofs and landscaping run as a timelapse with speed ramps, slowing back down when something new appears.
- Menus cut out. Catalogue scrolling, undo chains and camera repositioning go, unless the scroll ends in a find the builder reacts to.
- Progress the viewer can read. A label for the room or stage being built, and a timer or money counter on screen when the video has a limit, so the middle feels like it is going somewhere.
The commentary stays continuous across the ramps: the builder talks at normal speed while the build runs fast behind them. A timelapse with the voice chopped up is where viewers leave.
Two builders, one screen
In a VS or collab build-off, such as the Hello Kitty vs Kuromi cafes with DaPandaGirl or the boys vs girls autumn house, each builder usually records their own screen. The edit decides who the viewer is watching at every stage and keeps the comparison honest:
- Both recordings synced to the same clock, so the viewer sees the builds at comparable stages, not one finished while the other is still choosing a floor.
- Alternating sections rather than split screen for most of the build, with a name or team tag on screen each time the view changes.
- Split screen reserved for the beats where the contrast is the point: the same room in two styles, or the last seconds before time runs out.
- Reactions to the rival's build (peeking, trash talk, a "wait, how") kept in, because the rivalry is what the theme is for.
- Voices balanced so neither builder is louder than the other, and overlaps cleaned up when both talk at once.
Duo recording basics (what to capture, how to hand it over) are in the guide on how to record gameplay for your editor.
The reveal and the vote
The finished build gets a walkthrough, and the walkthrough gets room. The timelapse shows the build from the builder's camera; the reveal shows it as a visitor would see it, at normal speed, with the music up and the commentary pointing at the details that cost the most effort. For a solo transformation like "I Turned a GAZEBO into a HOUSE in Bloxburg!", the reveal is the before and after, held side by side.
When the video ends with judges, a vote or a scoring round, the result goes on screen as a graphic the viewer can read at a glance: each builder's name, the criteria if there are any, the score as it is given. The verdict is the last payoff of the video, so the end screen comes right after it. A long outro after the winner is announced is where watch time leaks.
Themes, seasons and series
Build battle channels run on themes the viewer recognises: a beach bedroom, an autumn house, a Halloween bedroom, a character cafe. The theme has to be visible in the first seconds (a reference image, a quick mock-up, the rule stated once) and in the intro graphics, so the video pays off the thumbnail immediately. Across a series I keep the same intro beat, the same name tags, the same vote graphic and the same reveal music, so someone who watched the beach bedroom recognises the Halloween one in the feed.
Seasonal build-offs also have a date. An October video that is still in revisions in November has missed its moment, which is why turnaround matters more on this format than on most: first video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days, changes back in under 24 hours.

FAQ
Do you edit Bloxburg build battle videos?
Yes. Build battles, build-off challenges, VS rounds with a collab partner and solo transformations in Welcome to Bloxburg. I edit for Robuilds (262K subscribers), with projects as recent as August 2026. English or Spanish channels.
I have hours of building footage. What do you need from me?
The whole recording for each builder, untrimmed, plus the title and thumbnail idea and any moments that must stay in. For a VS video, each builder's screen recording and mic track. I handle the timelapse, the cuts between builders and the graphics.
How do you make a timelapse that is not just a blur?
By cutting in layers: decisions and commentary at normal speed, repeated placement in a speed ramp that slows down when something new appears, menus removed, and a room label or timer on screen. The voice stays continuous while the build runs fast behind it.
Do you add the vote and score graphics?
Yes. Name tags, team tags, the timer, the score as it is given and the winner card, in one consistent style across the series. If you already have a brand kit, I match it; if not, I build one on the first video and reuse it.
How fast can a seasonal build-off come back?
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days per video, with changes in under 24 hours. For a Halloween or Christmas build-off, send the footage as soon as the recording is done so the upload lands while the theme is current.
