YouTube editor built for Roblox creators
We edit long-form Roblox content for Mud (1M subs), Puff, ashlele, Swaylemc, RexandAlexa, BloxWorld and others. Retention-first edits tuned for Roblox-specific pacing, UI dead air, shrill audio and younger audiences. No shorts. No reels. Pure long-form.
If you make Roblox videos and you've felt like generic editors plateau your channel — you're right. Roblox is its own genre. UI screens are dead air. Avatars are blocky. Native audio is shrill. Your audience is 8–16 years old, not 18–34. Standard gaming editing breaks every one of those constraints.
We edit Roblox content as our primary niche. Six active Roblox channels, hundreds of long-form Roblox videos shipped, and a Roblox-specific editing system we developed for the unique constraints of the platform. If you're a Roblox YouTuber serious about retention and watch time, this page is for you.

What you actually get when you hire us for Roblox
Most editors will offer "video editing." That's not enough for Roblox. Here's what's specifically built into every Roblox edit we ship:
- Hook engineering for Roblox audiences — the first 15 seconds rewritten until your retention graph holds past 30 seconds. Roblox audiences click out faster than gaming audiences. The hook has to land harder, faster, and visually.
- UI integration — Roblox UI takes up 25–30% of the screen. We layer chat windows, notifications, and inventory screens into the edit instead of cutting around them. Your UI becomes part of the rhythm.
- Loading screen layering — the most boring 3–5 seconds in any Roblox video. We overlay gameplay or B-roll at 30% opacity to hide them without breaking continuity.
- Aggressive audio EQ — Roblox notification pings are 5–8kHz and shrill. We roll off everything above 4.5kHz with a gentle slope and add a low ambient bed at 60–200Hz. The result is warm, listenable Roblox audio that your audience can sit through for 12 minutes.
- Avatar-aware cuts — we don't show your avatar walking. We cut to the environment, the goal, the puzzle, the chat. The avatar appears only when it's contextually relevant.
- 30% faster pacing — average shot length tuned to 2.5–4 seconds (vs. 4–6s for general gaming). Roblox audiences are younger and have shorter attention spans. Rhythm over speed.
- Roblox-aesthetic graphics — bold sans-serif fonts, primary colors, geometric shapes. Your text overlays and graphics match Roblox's blocky, bright aesthetic instead of clashing with it.
- Retention analytics review — on retainer plans, we look at your YouTube Studio retention graphs after each upload and iterate. Hooks that drop at the 25-second mark get rewritten. Pacing that loses viewers at minute 4 gets re-cut.
Real numbers, not promises. We scaled Mud from 30K to 100K+ avg views per video over six months. We grew DakBlox from 0 to 2M+ subs in ~6 months with 50K+ avg per video. We helped ashlele go from 3 uploads/week to 1/day without sacrificing quality. The case studies are here and we'll send retention graphs on the discovery call.
Roblox sub-genres we specialize in
Roblox news (Rivals, Bedwars, Skyblock updates)
Tighter, more serious pacing. Big text overlays for stats and patch notes. Faster cuts on game changes. We edit Mud's Roblox Rivals news series — full breakdowns of weapon updates, skin drops, and meta shifts.
Simulation and Dress to Impress
Looser, comedic timing. Audience reads chat and reacts to outfits. Pacing slows down to let jokes land, then speeds up on transitions. We edit Puff and ashlele.
Full-movie Roblox horror
Cinematic pacing, longer holds on creature reveals, atmospheric audio design. The opposite end of the Roblox pacing spectrum. We edit Swaylemc's full-movie horror content (60+ minute videos that hold 100K+ avg views).
Parkour and obby content
Speed-driven, momentum-based pacing. Heavy use of slow-mo on big jumps. Quick cuts during the walking sections. We edit BloxWorld.
Roleplay and adventure
Story-first pacing. Establishing shots, character beats, dialogue-driven cuts. We edit RexandAlexa.
What this costs
Standard 2026 rates for long-form Roblox editing:
- Per-video: $300–500 for a 15–25 minute Roblox edit. Includes hook engineering, full edit, color, sound design, two revision rounds.
- Per-video with retention review: +$100–150. We pull your last 10 retention graphs and tune the next edit specifically against your audience's drop-off patterns.
- Monthly retainer: $1.2K–1.8K/mo for 2–3 videos. Includes priority slot, faster turnaround, monthly analytics review, hook A/B testing.
- Full channel management: by quote. End-to-end: strategy, uploads, end-screens, analytics, growth benchmarking, thumbnail design.
The premium tier ($400+ per video) is for creators who want the full retention-led system: pre-edit channel audit, hook iteration, post-publish analytics, and direct strategic input. That's what the 1M+ sub channels pay for. It's also what compounds your watch-time growth instead of giving you one good edit at a time.
How to start
- Email kevin@umbrellacreators.com or use the contact form with your channel link, average video length, and upload cadence.
- You get a tailored quote within 24 hours — Roblox-specific, not a template.
- We schedule a 30-minute discovery call to look at your retention graphs together. No pitch — just diagnostic.
- First trial edit ships in 48–72 hours. If retention doesn't improve, you don't pay the second invoice.
Roblox editing FAQ
Do you only work with channels above 100K subs?
No. We work with serious Roblox creators at any size. The bar is whether you're committed to long-form retention, not how big your subscriber count is.
How do you handle Roblox's strict copyright on game audio?
Roblox audio is fine to use under fair-use commentary. We don't use copyrighted music libraries from outside Roblox unless they're properly licensed. All ambient music is from royalty-free libraries (Epidemic Sound, Artlist, Musicbed) or original.
Do you edit Roblox shorts or TikToks?
No. Long-form only. Shorts have a different optimization model and we're not the best fit. If you need shorts, we can recommend editors we trust who specialize in vertical.
Do you work in Spanish?
Yes — Kevin is bilingual EN/ES. We edit Spanish-language Roblox channels with the same retention-first system. Briefs, revisions and Discord pings in either language.
What software do you use?
Adobe Premiere Pro for primary editing, After Effects for motion graphics, DaVinci Resolve for color when needed. We deliver in any format you specify (ProRes 422, H.264, etc).
