Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Escape rooms played as a duo or a group, story escapes (a zoo, an asylum, a pizzeria, a prison) with a villain who chases you, escape obbies with several escapes in one video, Keyboard Escape and other speed escapes, killer escape games like Abyssal Escape
- Editing style
- Escape pacing: the place and the way out on screen first, a room or stage counter, every clue shown before the answer, chases cut fast, the escape itself held. The rhythm of the escape games I edit for Rex & Alexa
- Video length
- Escape videos run 7 to 35 minutes: ARUN GAMING’s 12 most recent escape obbies ran 7 to 31 (most around 20, often two or three escapes in one video) and Abyssal Escape gameplay runs about 30, measured on Oct 18, 2026. My escape games for Rex & Alexa run 14 to 23, so most land in the $150 package (up to 20 minutes) and longer ones in the $300 one. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me

That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.

My experience and Roblox escape games, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 6 videos I edited with escape in the title, for Rex & Alexa.
- Not proven yet: Keyboard Escape, Abyssal Escape and the other killer escape games, and escape obbies played solo with several escapes in one video. My escape work so far is Rex & Alexa’s duo escape games.

Why me
- I edit for Rex & Alexa, a Roblox duo channel: 126 videos since July 2025, with six escape games among them, from 14 to 23 minutes.
- Escapes with a scare in them are familiar: Scary Escape Rooms and Escape Asylum for Rex & Alexa, plus Roblox horror games for DakBlox.
What Roblox escape channels upload in October 2026
Measured on October 18, 2026, from two YouTube searches (“roblox escape” and “roblox escape obby”) and the 12 most recent videos of ARUN GAMING, a channel that uploads only escape obbies, plus Abyssal Escape gameplay from OzzyKnows. “Escape” on Roblox is several different formats:
- Story escape obbies: a pizzeria, a gym, a prison, a supermarket, each with a villain chasing you. ARUN GAMING’s run 7 to 31 minutes, and the longer ones put two or three escapes in one video.
- Keyboard Escape: a speed obby that got a Halloween world this week, with updates, live streams and full runs.
- Killer escape games: Abyssal Escape, where one player hunts the others; “winning as every killer” videos run about 30 to 35 minutes.
- Classic escape obbies like Barry’s Prison Run, still uploaded with new updates.
- A surprise: fitness channels use first-person escape obbies as warm-up videos for kids.
The escape games I edit for Rex & Alexa are another version: escape rooms and story escapes played as a duo, with the reactions as much a part of the video as the way out.
How I edit Roblox escape videos
This is how I cut the escape games I’ve edited for Rex & Alexa. Where a version is new to me, such as Keyboard Escape or a killer escape game, I say how I would do it.
The place and the way out, first
An escape video promises one thing: getting out. I open on the place (the zoo, the asylum, the room with no door) and the exit, or the villain standing in the way, and the goal goes on screen in the first 30 seconds. The way out the title promises is the ending the viewer waits for.
A counter for rooms and stages
Escape games are built from steps: room 12 of 99, stage 3 of 5. A counter in the same corner and style in every video tells the viewer how far the duo is, and it jumps on the cut when an easy stretch is skipped.
Show the clue before the answer
In an escape room the viewer wants to solve it too. I keep the moment the clue is found on screen long enough to read, then the guessing, then the answer, and cut the minutes of walking in circles. If the clue is small on a phone screen, it gets a zoom.
The chase cut fast, the catch held
When the villain chases, the cut speeds up: short shots, the game sound up, the footsteps clear. A catch or a near miss plays at real speed with the reaction kept whole. The first fail at a hard part is shown in full so the obstacle is clear; the retries are compressed.
Two players, two reactions
In a duo escape the funniest moment is often one player panicking while the other is calm. I cut between the two at those moments and keep both voices clear, the way Rex & Alexa’s escape games work.
Several escapes in one video
Many escape obby videos put two or three escapes in one upload. I would give each escape its own title card and YouTube chapter, keep the same counter style across them and end the video soon after the last escape.
Speed escapes and killer games
I haven’t edited Keyboard Escape or Abyssal Escape yet. For a speed escape I would keep a timer on screen and the fastest section near real time; for a killer escape game I would cut between the killer and the survivors, with a counter of who is still alive.

FAQ
Have you edited Roblox escape games videos before?
Yes. I’ve edited six Roblox escape games for Rex & Alexa (2.29M subscribers): Escape the Zoo, Escape Asylum, Escape 99 Rooms, Escape the Rooms, Fruit Escape and Scary Escape Rooms, all on my YT Jobs profile. I haven’t edited Keyboard Escape, Abyssal Escape or a solo escape obby for a client yet; the free 1-minute test edit on your own footage shows you how I would cut it.
Can you edit my Roblox escape games videos?
Yes. Send a few minutes of raw footage, an escape room, an escape obby, Keyboard Escape or a killer escape game, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.
Is this different from your obby page?
Close, but not the same. My obby challenge page is about jumping courses and fail compilations; escape games add a place to get out of, a villain who chases you and clues to solve, so the edit has to make the way out easy to follow.
Can you put two or three escapes in one video?
Yes. Each escape gets its own title card and YouTube chapter, the counter style stays the same across them, and the video ends soon after the last one. A 30 minute video with three escapes lands in the $300 package.
Do you edit escape videos for younger viewers?
Yes. Roblox escape games are watched by a young audience, so I keep the pacing quick, the goal always clear and nothing on screen too small to read on a phone, as in the escape games I edit for Rex & Alexa.
How much does a Roblox escape games YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
