Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- A popular game with one twisted rule (99 Nights But…, Dress To Impress But…), every second you get stronger or bigger, starting over but with a gamepass or an owner item, only bad games, banned items or classes
- Editing style
- The rule on screen in the first seconds, a counter for what the rule changes, the first time the rule bites shown whole and the payoff held. Cut like the 99 Nights But videos I edit for Crazz
- Video length
- “But” videos run 10 to 30 minutes (Foltyn’s recent uploads 11 to 27 minutes, CaylusBlox’s 11 to 29, measured on Oct 18, 2026; most of Crazz’s 99 Nights But videos 11 to 23), so most land in the $150 or $300 package. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Proof in this niche
- Real Roblox But challenge videos I edited: “99 Nights, But Every Day = Pelt Trader Upgrades” on Crazz (10.7K subscribers), 820K views; “99 Nights but EVERY Item Multiplies!” on Crazz (10.7K subscribers), 1.9K views
My experience and Roblox But challenge, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 39 videos I edited with “But” in the title, for Crazz, AshleyBunni, ashlele, Crazz Plays, DakBlox, Eves and nealygames.
- Not proven yet: The classic “Roblox but every second” format (every second you get bigger, faster or older), where a stat grows on its own. My “But” work so far is a twist on one game.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own Roblox But challenge footage, before you pay anything.
Why me
- A weekly “But” series: Crazz’s 99 Nights in the Forest videos, where the twist changes every week.
Where the Roblox “But” format is in 2026
Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent long videos of Foltyn, Flamingo and CaylusBlox. Among those 36 uploads only one has “but” in the title (“Roblox but it’s ONLY BAD GAMES”); the “Roblox But Every Second…” videos that made the format are at least 3 months old in search. The twist now lives inside the game of the moment, as on SkellyPlays:
- “Starting Over BUT Everything is GIANT in Steal an Egg”, “Steal an Egg But You Can Play as BOSSES…”.
- One rule that grows over time: every second, every day, everything you touch.
- Rules that limit you: banned classes, only one item, only bad games.
- Rules that give you power: admin upgrades, owner items, a gamepass from the start.
How I edit Roblox “But” challenge videos
This is how I cut the “But” videos I’ve edited for Crazz, AshleyBunni, ashlele and DakBlox. Where the format asks for something I haven’t done yet, such as an “every second” video, I say how I would do it.
The rule, in one line, before anything else
A “But” video is sold by its rule. I put the rule on screen in the first seconds, in the creator’s words, and show the first moment it changes the game, so the title is paid in the first 30 seconds.
A counter for what the rule changes
If every day upgrades the trader or every item multiplies, I keep a counter in the same corner for the whole video, as in Crazz’s “99 Nights, But Every Day = Pelt Trader Upgrades”.
The first time it goes wrong, whole
The best moment is usually the first time the rule backfires. I keep it whole, then compress the repeats and slow down again when the rule pays off.
Escalation you can feel
The twist should get bigger as the video goes on. I would cut the middle tighter each time the rule levels up and change the music at each new level, so the last part feels like the biggest.
For “every second” videos: the stat as the star
I would keep the growing stat large on screen, speed through flat stretches and stop each time the stat unlocks something new: a jump that clears a wall, a size that breaks the map.
End close to the payoff
Once the rule has paid off, the video ends soon after. I cut the wind-down so the last thing viewers see is the best moment, not the logout.

FAQ
Have you edited Roblox But challenge videos before?
Yes. I’ve edited Roblox “But” challenge videos for Crazz (99 Nights in the Forest), AshleyBunni and ashlele (Dress To Impress) and DakBlox (Steal a Brainrot), all on my YT Jobs profile. I haven’t edited the “Roblox but every second” kind yet, where a stat grows on its own; the free 1-minute test edit on your own footage shows you how I would cut it.
Can you edit my Roblox But challenge videos?
Yes. Send a few minutes of raw footage and your rule, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to long runs, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.
Can you edit a “But” video every week?
Yes, that is what I do for Crazz’s 99 Nights But series. After the first video I deliver in 1 to 2 days, and the rule card, counter and music style stay the same each week.
Do you also edit “X but” challenges in other games?
Yes. The rule-first structure works in any game; in Minecraft it is the same shape. More on my Minecraft challenge editor page.
