Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
Creation builds (a monster, a machine, another game rebuilt inside Build a Boat), gold farms and how-rich-can-I-get runs, codes and free items, funny moments series, building tutorials (mechs, missiles, vehicles), update and event videos, build battles with friends
Editing style
What I would do for Build a Boat: the finished creation teased in the first seconds, the build compressed into a time-lapse with the steps that matter kept, and the launch held whole as the payoff. Close to the build videos I edit for Rex & Alexa and Puff Blox
Video length
Recent Build a Boat videos on three channels built on the game run 8 to 38 minutes (illuzions Ghost’s code videos 8 to 23, BlockSoup’s funny moments 13 to 16, jessetc’s builds 8 to 38, measured on Oct 18, 2026): most fit the $55 or $150 package, the longest builds the $300 package. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me

That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. My experience and Build a Boat for Treasure, plainly

Why me

What Build a Boat for Treasure channels upload in October 2026

On October 18, 2026, I read a YouTube search for the game and the 12 latest videos of three channels built on it: jessetc (builds), BlockSoup (funny moments) and illuzions Ghost (codes and guides). All 36 are Build a Boat videos, and the search showed new uploads from the last hours. The formats that keep coming back:

How I would edit your Build a Boat for Treasure videos

No creator has sent me Build a Boat footage yet, so this is my plan, built on the build videos I edit for Rex & Alexa and Puff Blox and the funny moments in my portfolio.

The finished creation in the first seconds

A creation video promises one thing: the worm, the giant, the machine. I would show it working for a few seconds before the build starts, then go back to the empty plot, so viewers know what they are waiting for. It is the rule I follow on every video: what the title and thumbnail promise shows up in the first 30 seconds.

The build as a time-lapse, with the steps that matter

Hours of placing blocks become a time-lapse with a clock on screen. I would slow down only for the steps viewers need to understand (the engine, the trick that makes it move, the part that fails) and keep the commentary that explains them, so the build feels clever and still moves fast.

The launch held whole

The payoff is the launch: the boat leaves the dock, the machine moves, the worm eats the map. I would let it play at real speed with the game audio up, one slow replay of the best moment, and your reaction whole. When it breaks, the failure gets the same treatment: it is often the funniest part.

Gold and stages on screen

For a gold farm or a how-rich-can-I-get video, the gold total sits on a small counter in the same corner, updated after each run, with the stage reached when a run ends. The number that the title promises should be readable at a glance.

Funny moments as a series with the same markers

For a numbered funny moments series, I would keep one intro, one episode card and one set of sound effects, used on the joke and not everywhere, so episode 20 is recognizable as part of the series. Each bit ends a beat after the laugh, and a laugh is never trimmed to save a second.

Code and item videos: the code first

Code and free item videos are searched by people who want the answer. The code goes on screen in large type in the first seconds, then how to redeem it, then what it gives, with chapters so viewers can jump to one item.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Five Roblox videos from my work for Rex & Alexa, Puff Blox, Robuilds and Navam, picked because each shares a format with Build a Boat for Treasure: building and launching a vehicle, build battles and a numbered funny moments series. Watch the first minute of the one closest to yours.

FAQ

Have you edited Build a Boat for Treasure videos before?

No, I haven’t edited Build a Boat for Treasure videos for a client yet. The closest is Build a Plane for Rex & Alexa and the build videos I edit for Puff Blox, all on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own footage is how you judge my cut before paying anything.

Can you edit my Build a Boat for Treasure videos?

Yes. Send a few minutes of raw Build a Boat footage, ideally with your voice recorded separately, and I edit one minute of it for free so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to marathons of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.

Can you turn hours of building into a short time-lapse?

Yes. Send the whole build recording and tell me the steps that matter. I would turn the rest into a time-lapse with a clock on screen and slow down only for those steps.

Can you edit a funny moments series with the same style every episode?

Yes. I would design the intro, episode card and sound effects once and reuse them in every episode, so the series is recognizable. Funny moments with friends are regular work in my portfolio, such as the duo videos I edit for Rex & Alexa.

Do you make a Short from each build?

Yes, on request. The launch or the funniest failure makes a good Short: I edit the long video first and cut the Short from it, reframed for vertical.

How much does a Build a Boat for Treasure YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
