Roblox YouTube video data: 1,142 long-form videos
I took the long-form videos I edited and logged on YT Jobs between January 2025 and October 2026: 1,142 videos on 42 channels, mostly Roblox, plus Minecraft and other gaming. I looked at what they have in common: views by niche, upload day, how titles are written and how often channels upload. It describes my own work. It is not a ranking and not a recipe.
Key findings
- 1,142 long-form videos on 42 channels, published January 1, 2025 to October 2, 2026. The six channels in the cadence table account for 951 of them (83%).
- Median views per video ranged from 1,496 to 95,518 depending on the niche. Roblox Rivals was highest (95,518, 272 videos); Dress To Impress had 38,772 across 280; Grow a Garden 1,496 across only 11.
- The spread matters more than the median. In 99 Nights in the Forest the middle half of videos ran from 5,433 to 239,010 views; in Roblox Rivals, from 63,523 to 149,324.
- 76% of videos (866) were published Monday to Friday. Sunday had the highest median views (83,324, 135 videos), Saturday the lowest (43,315, 141 videos).
- The typical title is 44 characters. 80% (910) have a word in capitals of four or more letters, and 61% (696) contain “..”.
- Titles with “..” had a median of 69,152 views, against 47,386 without (all-caps word: 59,778 with, 66,486 without). This is correlation: channels, niches and video age are mixed in.
- Six of the channels uploaded between 0.9 and 4.2 edited long-form videos a week: ashlele the most, Crazz the least.
Read this first. Views are cumulative as shown on YT Jobs on October 2, 2026, so older videos had more time to collect them. Everything below is correlation, and none of it is caused by the editing: views come from the idea, the title and thumbnail, the channel's audience and timing. This page describes one set of videos; it ranks nothing and promises nothing.

How was the data collected, and what are its limits?
The source is my YT Jobs profile, which logs each video I edit with its publish date and view count. I took the long-form videos published between January 1, 2025 and October 2, 2026: 1,142 videos on 42 channels, with the cumulative views YT Jobs showed on October 2, 2026.
Each video sits in one of eight groups, by the game or theme its title names, so the counts add up to 1,142. “Other Roblox and gaming” holds every video whose title names none of the other seven. For each group I give the median (half the videos got more views, half fewer) plus p25 and p75: a quarter of the videos stayed under p25 and a quarter went over p75. I use medians because one video with millions of views would drag an average up.
Limits you should know:
- It is not a sample of all Roblox YouTube. These are videos I edited that were published in 2025 and 2026, on channels that hired me.
- Channels dominate. The six channels in the cadence table make up 951 of the 1,142 videos (83%), so a niche's numbers are partly its channels' numbers.
- Older videos had more time. Views are cumulative and I have not corrected for age.
- Views are not a score for the editing. Nothing on this page shows that editing changes them.
How many views do Roblox and gaming videos get, by niche?
Median views per video ran from 1,496 to 95,518 across the eight groups. The table is ordered by median; p25 and p75 mark the middle half of each group.
| Niche | Videos | Median views | p25 | p75 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Roblox Rivals | 272 | 95,518 | 63,523 | 149,324 |
| Minecraft | 73 | 81,896 | 41,211 | 192,488 |
| Horror (Roblox and other) | 36 | 60,524 | 33,057 | 162,383 |
| Other Roblox and gaming | 382 | 54,523 | 21,623 | 121,905 |
| Dress To Impress | 280 | 38,772 | 19,991 | 79,183 |
| 99 Nights in the Forest | 59 | 23,503 | 5,433 | 239,010 |
| Steal a Brainrot | 29 | 10,517 | 1,630 | 42,860 |
| Grow a Garden | 11 | 1,496 | 1,184 | 2,177 |
Roblox Rivals had the highest median (95,518) and a fairly tight middle half, 63,523 to 149,324. Minecraft came next (81,896, 73 videos), with a higher p75 (192,488). Dress To Impress, the second-largest group at 280 videos, had a median of 38,772 and a middle half of 19,991 to 79,183.
99 Nights in the Forest is the most uneven: a median of 23,503, but a middle half of 5,433 to 239,010, so the p75 is about 44 times the p25. That is many modest videos and a few big ones, not a steady middle. In Roblox Rivals the ratio is about 2.4.
Grow a Garden (11 videos, median 1,496) and Steal a Brainrot (29 videos, median 10,517) are the smallest groups and the lowest. Both are small samples, and the three most-viewed Grow a Garden videos all come from one channel (Puff Blox), so I would not call these bad niches.
Niche and channel are tangled together: the three most-viewed Roblox Rivals videos are all from Mud, and the three for Dress To Impress all from ashlele (see the top videos below). A niche median also describes the channels that cover it.
Which day do these videos go up, and does it matter?
| Upload day | Videos | Share of all | Median views |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monday | 99 | 9% | 59,713 |
| Tuesday | 192 | 17% | 54,830 |
| Wednesday | 187 | 16% | 66,627 |
| Thursday | 192 | 17% | 59,251 |
| Friday | 196 | 17% | 64,410 |
| Saturday | 141 | 12% | 43,315 |
| Sunday | 135 | 12% | 83,324 |
About three quarters (866 of 1,142, 76%) went up Monday to Friday, with Friday the busiest day (196) and Monday the lightest (99). The day is the publish date YT Jobs shows.
The weekend holds both extremes: Sunday (83,324) is the highest median of the week and Saturday (43,315) the lowest. I distrust that gap. Each day mixes different channels and niches, and each median rests on 99 to 196 videos. I would not change an upload schedule because of this table; your own analytics say more about when your audience is watching.
What do the titles look like?
The median title is 44 characters, and half of them are between 37 and 53. These are the most common habits across the 1,142 titles (one title can have several):
| Title feature | Titles | Share of the 1,142 |
|---|---|---|
| A word in capitals (4+ letters) | 910 | 80% |
| Two dots in a row “..” (this also catches “...”) | 696 | 61% |
| Parentheses | 327 | 29% |
| An exclamation mark | 231 | 20% |
| Any number | 224 | 20% |
| Any emoji | 96 | 8% |
| A question mark | 32 | 3% |
Two habits stand out: 80% have an all-caps word and 61% contain “..”. Almost three in ten use parentheses (327), often to tag the game or format, as in “(Roblox Rivals News)”. Questions are rare: only 32.
| Title feature | With it: titles / median views | Without it: titles / median views |
|---|---|---|
| A word in capitals (4+ letters) | 910 / 59,778 | 232 / 66,486 |
| “..” | 696 / 69,152 | 446 / 47,386 |
Titles with “..” have a median 46% higher than titles without it (69,152 against 47,386), and titles with an all-caps word have a median 10% lower than titles without one (59,778 against 66,486). Neither number is evidence that caps or dots move views. Several channels in the table below use “..” as a house style: the three most-viewed Dress To Impress titles, all from ashlele, end that way, so “has ..” is partly “is a video from that channel”. The groups also differ in age, niche and channel, and the no-caps group (232 titles) is small. Treat it as description, and test any title style on your own channel against your own median.
How often do these channels upload?
| Channel | Videos in the data | First video | Last video | Per week |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mud | 258 | 2025-03-05 | 2026-10-02 | 3.1 |
| ashlele | 322 | 2025-04-09 | 2026-09-30 | 4.2 |
| Puff | 158 | 2025-07-15 | 2026-09-25 | 2.5 |
| Rex | 126 | 2025-07-30 | 2026-10-01 | 2.1 |
| DakBlox | 52 | 2025-10-16 | 2026-07-10 | 1.4 |
| Crazz | 35 | 2025-10-18 | 2026-07-21 | 0.9 |
These are six of the 42 channels. ashlele uploaded 4.2 videos a week, Mud 3.1, Puff 2.5, Rex 2.1, DakBlox 1.4 and Crazz 0.9, so the busiest and the quietest are more than four times apart. Per week is the number of videos divided by the weeks between the first and last video in the data. It counts only the long-form videos in this set, not everything a channel has uploaded.

What can creators take from this?
- Compare yourself to your own niche and channel, not to “Roblox”. Group medians here run from 1,496 to 95,518. Track your own channel's median and its p25 to p75 range.
- Expect a wide range from video to video. In the three biggest groups the p75 is between 2.4 and 5.6 times the p25, so one weak video is rarely a verdict.
- Don't copy a title style because it is common. It is partly the house style of a few channels. Test a style on your own channel against your own median.
- Don't build a schedule from the weekday table. Pick days you can keep up and check your own analytics.
- Size your production before you promise a pace. The six channels in the cadence table uploaded 0.9 to 4.2 edited long-form videos a week for months. Going from one to three a week changes what your editing process has to carry.

FAQ
How many views does a typical Roblox YouTube video get?
In this set of 1,142 long-form videos, the median per niche ran from 1,496 (Grow a Garden, 11 videos) to 95,518 (Roblox Rivals, 272 videos). These are videos I edited, not all of Roblox YouTube, and older videos had longer to collect views.
Does the upload day change the views of a Roblox video?
This data cannot say. Median views by weekday ran from 43,315 (Saturday) to 83,324 (Sunday), but each day mixes different channels and niches. Check your own channel analytics instead.
Do all-caps or “..” titles get more views?
Titles with “..” had a median of 69,152 views against 47,386 without, and titles with an all-caps word had 59,778 against 66,486 without one. These are correlations that mix channels, niches and video age, not evidence that a title style causes views.
