Fun facts YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor: you send the script and voiceover, I edit and find archive, licensed stock, maps and graphics. The closest is a Marvel movie quiz I edited on jayesss_’s channel; I haven’t edited fun facts videos for a client yet, so start with a free 1-minute test. $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits.
Free 1-minute test edit · From $55 per video · No contract · Revisions back within 24 h
9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Fun facts, “things you didn’t know”, size and scale comparisons, questions and answers, facts about history, science and geography
- Editing style
- What I would do in a fun facts video: one fact per block with its number on screen, the exact image of what is named, scale comparisons with simple graphics and a rhythm of question, pause and answer, close to the Marvel movie quiz I edited on jayesss_’s channel
- Video length
- I edit from 8-minute videos to feature-length. Up to 20 minutes is the $150 package and up to 35 minutes the $300 one; longer videos get a custom quote. The Spy Show’s Eli Cohen episode runs 21 minutes and The Interpreter’s Tenerife documentary 13; Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- A finished script and narration (script and voiceover). I edit and find the visuals: archive footage, licensed stock, maps, timelines and graphics.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,277 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Closest proof
- I haven’t edited fun facts videos for a client yet. Closest long-form work: “Can You Guess the Marvel Movie From JUST ONE FRAME?” on jayesss_ (511K subscribers), 9.7K views; “Eli Cohen: Mossad’s Greatest Spy | True Life Spy Stories” on The Spy Show (832 subscribers), 90 views
My experience with fun facts videos, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1,277+ videos and 152M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. My narrated documentary work: I edit The Spy Show, a spy-history series by Vincent Meijer, and I delivered The Interpreter’s documentary on the Tenerife air disaster (78K subscribers).
- Not proven yet: Narrated fun facts videos for a client. The closest I have edited is a quiz video about movies and narrated documentaries.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own script and voiceover, before you pay anything.
How I would edit your fun facts videos
I haven’t edited a fun facts channel yet, so this is my plan for your script, based on the Marvel movie quiz I edited on jayesss_’s channel and on The Spy Show.
One fact per block, with its number on screen
Each fact is a short block: the line, the exact image and the figure or date written on screen at the moment the voice says it. Never one fact on top of another.
The exact image of the fact
If the voice names an animal, a building or a specific object, that is what you see, not something similar. I look for the archive or licensed stock that shows exactly what the script says.
Scales you get in one second
For “as big as” or “weighs the same as”, a simple comparison graphic is worth more than three sentences. I would build it in one style for the whole channel.
A pause after the best fact
Fast between facts, but with a breath after the most surprising one, so there is time to react. A quiz runs on that same pulse: question, pause, answer.
Something of its own in every video
YouTube is strict with mass-produced, repetitive content. Varying the visuals, the text cards and the structure from video to video, instead of repeating one template, is what protects your channel.
Closest real examples of my work
Three videos I edited or delivered, chosen for their format: the question-and-answer rhythm, and narration with a picture for every line.
These are not fun facts videos, but the closest work I’ve edited. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

- Can You Guess the Marvel Movie From JUST ONE FRAME? · jayesss_ (511K subscribers) · 9,721 views · 8 min · Oct 1, 2026
Why it's close: A quiz video with a game-show rhythm: the question, the pause to think and the answer, the same pulse as a fun facts video. - Eli Cohen: Mossad’s Greatest Spy | True Life Spy Stories · The Spy Show (832 subscribers) · 90 views · 21 min · Sep 24, 2026
Why it's close: A spy-history episode built from a script and a voiceover: archive, maps and text cards for a story that mostly happened in secret. - The Tenerife Disaster: The Deadliest Crash in Aviation History · The Interpreter (78K subscribers) · 7,687 views · 13 min · Aug 13, 2026
Why it's close: A documentary on one event, told from three points of view, with quote cards, diagrams and slow moves on photos, to the channel’s own style guide.

FAQ
Have you edited fun facts videos before?
No, I haven’t edited fun facts videos for a client yet. My narrated documentary work is The Spy Show, a spy-history series by Vincent Meijer that I edit, and the documentary on the Tenerife air disaster I delivered for The Interpreter, both on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own script and voiceover is how you judge my cut before paying anything.
Can you edit my fun facts videos?
Yes. Send your script, the voiceover and any images you already have, and I edit one minute for free. I find the rest of the visuals (archive, licensed stock, maps, timelines, text cards) and cut Shorts from the long video if you want them.
Where do the images for each fact come from?
Archive and licensed stock that show exactly what the script says, checked on their source page. If a fact has no image, I solve it with a graphic or a text card.
Do you edit countdowns too?
Yes. A fixed number on screen for each place, a chapter card per block and YouTube chapters, so viewers can jump to any place.
How much does a YouTube editor for fun facts videos cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
