Reddit story YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor: you send the script and voiceover, I edit and find archive, licensed stock, maps and graphics. My closest work is the Minecraft gameplay I cut for Puff; I haven’t edited Reddit story videos for a client yet, so start with a free 1-minute test. $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits.
Free 1-minute test edit · From $55 per video · No contract · Revisions back within 24 h
9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- “Am I the jerk?” stories, confessions, revenge, relationship and work stories, Reddit horror stories, long compilations of several stories
- Editing style
- What I would do in a Reddit story: on-screen text synced to the voice, a background that does not distract (gameplay or visuals that follow the story), the original post in its own style and chapters per story. With the Minecraft gameplay I cut for Puff
- Video length
- I edit from 8-minute videos to feature-length. Up to 20 minutes is the $150 package and up to 35 minutes the $300 one; longer videos get a custom quote. The Spy Show’s Eli Cohen episode runs 21 minutes and The Interpreter’s Tenerife documentary 13; Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- A finished script and narration (script and voiceover). I edit and find the visuals: archive footage, licensed stock, maps, timelines and graphics.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,277 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.

- I haven’t edited Reddit story videos for a client yet. Closest long-form work: “Eli Cohen: Mossad’s Greatest Spy | True Life Spy Stories” on The Spy Show (832 subscribers), 90 views; “Surviving The Obsessed In Hardcore Minecraft” on Puff (1.83M subscribers), 43.7K views
My experience with Reddit story videos, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1,277+ videos and 152M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. My narrated documentary work: I edit The Spy Show, a spy-history series by Vincent Meijer, and I delivered The Interpreter’s documentary on the Tenerife air disaster (78K subscribers).
- Not proven yet: Reddit stories for a client, in long-form or in Shorts. The closest I have edited is Minecraft gameplay and narrated documentaries.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own script and voiceover, before you pay anything.
How I would edit your Reddit stories
I haven’t edited a Reddit story channel yet, so this is my plan for your voiceover, based on the gameplay I cut for Puff and the narration of The Spy Show.
Text on the beat of the voice
Lines appear word by word or in short blocks exactly when the voice says them, readable on a phone and without covering what matters in the background.
A background that does not compete
Continuous gameplay (yours, or licensed recordings) or visuals that follow the story. The background keeps the eyes busy; the voice carries the story.
The original post, recognisable
The post title and the author’s updates get their own style, so the viewer knows when the author speaks and when the story turns.
Something of its own in every video
YouTube is strict with mass-produced, repetitive content. Varying the visuals, the text cards and the structure from video to video, instead of repeating one template, is what protects your channel.
Chapters per story
In long compilations, a card with the title of each story and YouTube chapters, with the same loudness from start to end.
Closest real examples of my work
Two videos I edited, chosen for the two halves of a Reddit story: the narration and the gameplay background.
These are not Reddit story videos, but the closest work I’ve edited. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.
- Eli Cohen: Mossad’s Greatest Spy | True Life Spy Stories · The Spy Show (832 subscribers) · 90 views · 21 min · Sep 24, 2026
Why it's close: A long narration carried by the voice: the same challenge as a Reddit story, keeping the voice from getting tiring. - Surviving The Obsessed In Hardcore Minecraft · Puff (1.83M subscribers) · 43,661 views · 34 min · Nov 4, 2025
Why it's close: Minecraft gameplay I cut for Puff: the kind of background many Reddit story channels use.

FAQ
Have you edited Reddit story videos before?
No, I haven’t edited Reddit story videos for a client yet. My narrated documentary work is The Spy Show, a spy-history series by Vincent Meijer that I edit, and the documentary on the Tenerife air disaster I delivered for The Interpreter, both on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own script and voiceover is how you judge my cut before paying anything.
Can you edit my Reddit story videos?
Yes. Send your script, the voiceover and any images you already have, and I edit one minute for free. I find the rest of the visuals (archive, licensed stock, maps, timelines, text cards) and cut Shorts from the long video if you want them.
Do you work with AI voices?
Yes, if that is your channel’s choice. With an AI voice, each video should bring its own edit and not repeat the same template, because of YouTube’s rules on mass-produced content.
Do you also cut Shorts from each story?
Yes, if you ask: I cut vertical Shorts from each long video, with the text moved to fit the phone screen.
How much does a YouTube editor for Reddit story videos cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
Send me your script
