Art and drawing YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor: you send your raw footage, I cut it and add music, text and Shorts. My closest work is Scarlett Mae’s Japan vlog and Erin Marie’s lessons to camera; I haven’t edited art and drawing videos for a client yet, so start with a free 1-minute test. $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits.
Free 1-minute test edit · From $55 per video · No contract · Revisions back within 24 h
9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Speedpaints and timelapses, drawing challenges, sketchbook tours, art tutorials, drawing in different styles, art supply tests, digital art from a screen recording, art commentary
- Editing style
- What I would do for art: the drawing sped up where nothing changes and slowed where it does, the finished piece shown at the start and revealed again at the end, your voice over the timelapse, and before and after side by side
- Video length
- I edit from 8-minute videos to feature-length. Up to 20 minutes is the $150 package and up to 35 minutes the $300 one; longer videos get a custom quote. Scarlett Mae’s Japan vlog runs 17 minutes and Alli Ingram’s episodes 7 to 17; Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- All your clips and audio from the shoot; I build the story.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,277 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Closest proof
- I haven’t edited art and drawing videos for a client yet. Closest filmed work: “I Became a GYARU ANGEL in Japan for 24 Hours” on Scarlett Mae (297K subscribers), 971.9K views; “Awkard 😳First Kiss Misses | First Kiss 💋 Summer Ep 101” on Alli Ingram (743K subscribers), 116.5K views
My experience with art and drawing videos, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1,277+ videos and 152M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. My work with filmed footage: lessons to camera that I edit for English by Erin Marie, Scarlett Mae’s 24-hour challenge vlog filmed in Japan (297K subscribers), which I edited, and Alli Ingram’s First Kiss Summer series (743K), which I edited too.
- Not proven yet: Art videos for a client, and judging the art itself: I follow your commentary on what matters in the piece. My work with camera footage so far is vlogs, a scripted series and lessons to camera.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own footage, before you pay anything.
How I would edit your art videos
I haven’t edited an art channel yet, so this is my plan for your recording.
Speed where nothing changes
Hours of drawing fold into minutes: the steady parts sped up, and real speed at the moments the piece changes, the first lines, the color going in, the last detail.
Show the result early
A glimpse of the finished piece in the first seconds tells the viewer why to stay, and the full reveal at the end pays it off.
Your voice on the timelapse
If you narrate over the drawing, the cuts follow your voice; if you don’t, short text cards explain each step on screen.
Camera and screen together
For digital art, the screen recording is the main image and your camera a small window; for traditional art, the hand camera leads.
Before and after
Challenges and redraws end with the two pieces side by side, so the comparison is the payoff.
Closest real examples of my work
Three videos I edited from recorded footage: a challenge vlog, an episode of a scripted series and a lesson to camera. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.
These are not art and drawing videos, but they are the closest recorded work I’ve edited. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026, or from my YT Jobs profile for the newest videos; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ
Have you edited art and drawing videos before?
No, I haven’t edited art and drawing videos for a client yet. My closest work with recorded footage: Scarlett Mae’s 24-hour challenge vlog filmed in Japan and Alli Ingram’s First Kiss Summer series, both edited by me, and lessons to camera that I edit for English by Erin Marie, all on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own footage is how you judge my cut before paying anything.
Can you edit my art and drawing videos?
Yes. Send the raw footage of one video (all the clips, plus the separate audio if you recorded it) and one video whose style you like, and I edit one minute for free. I cut Shorts from the long video too if you want them.
Can you edit long timelapses from several sessions?
Yes. Send every session in order; I join them into one continuous drawing and keep a time card if you want viewers to know how long it took.
Do you edit art tutorials step by step?
Yes. Each step gets a title card and the key moment at real speed, so a viewer can draw along.
How much does a YouTube editor for art and drawing videos cost?
