Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
Solo vs squads kill runs, first wins on a new map or season, “battle royale, but” challenge ladders across different games, loadout and settings guides, elimination challenges with friends
Editing style
What I would do for battle royale videos: looting cut fast, a kills and squads-left counter in a fixed corner, the zone shown on a small map when it moves, fights cut on the hit with the kill feed readable, and the final circle played close to real time. Close to the Roblox Rivals PvP I edit for Mud and goatt
Video length
Battle royale videos on big channels run about 20 to 50 minutes (Aydan’s recent uploads 20 to 35 minutes, Chrispreds’ 13 to 54, measured on Oct 18, 2026), so most land in the $300 package; longer ones get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
Track record
Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

My experience and battle royale, plainly

What big battle royale channels upload in October 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent videos of Aydan (Warzone) and Chrispreds (battle royale and shooter challenges). Aydan’s run from 20 to 35 minutes and Chrispreds’ from 13 to 54. The formats that keep coming back:

On YouTube search, “battle royale” on its own brings up map animations and films more than games, so channels name the game in the title.

How I would edit your battle royale videos

No battle royale channel has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan for your video. Each point comes from real work of mine: Roblox Rivals PvP and news for Mud, 1v1 videos for goatt and challenge ladders for Crazz.

Drop to win, without the empty minutes

A match has long stretches of looting and running. I would cut them to a few seconds each, keep your comment on the plan and stay at normal speed only when a fight starts, so a 25-minute match feels like one fight after another.

A kills and squads counter in one place

Kills, squads left and placement, in the same corner and style in every video, so viewers follow the run and the record attempt. It is the same kind of counter I keep in every Roblox challenge series I edit.

The zone on a small map when it matters

When the circle closes or you rotate, I would show where you are on a small map for a second. Viewers understand the risk of the next fight without having played that map.

Fights cut on the hit

I would cut on the shot that lands, slow down the one that decides the fight and keep the kill feed readable, as in the Roblox Rivals fights I edit for Mud and goatt. Your reaction stays whole: a shout is never trimmed to save a second.

The final circle close to real time

The end of the match is the payoff. I would stop cutting fast in the last circles and let the final fight play close to real time, then end the video soon after the win.

Challenge ladders with the rule on screen

For “each win gets harder” or “each game more realistic”, I would put the rule and the step on a card before every game, so viewers know the ladder. It is how I set up every section of a challenge video: one line on what is at stake before it starts.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Five videos from my work for Mud, goatt, Crazz and ashlele, chosen because their format sits closest to a battle royale video: shooter news and PvP in Roblox Rivals, an elimination game mode and a challenge where every round changes. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is battle royale. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited battle royale videos before?

No, I haven’t edited battle royale videos for a client yet. My long-form gaming work is Roblox (Rex & Alexa, Mud), Minecraft (Puff, Swaylemc’s full movies), horror games and Madden tournaments, all listed on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own battle royale footage is how you judge my battle royale edit before paying anything.

Can you edit my battle royale videos?

Yes. Send one recorded match or a few minutes of your session, with your voice on a separate track if you have it, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos from 10 minutes to over an hour and cut Shorts from them if you want them.

Can you turn a whole session into one win video?

Yes. Send the session and tell me which match to build around. I would keep the best fights from the other matches only if they serve the story, with the counter showing the jump.

Can you edit a challenge series across different games?

Yes. I would make one rule card and one score card and use them for every game, so the series looks the same whether it is Warzone, Fortnite or Apex.

Do you add the kill counter and the map?

Yes. I design them once with you and reuse them in every video. If your game already shows the counter clearly, I keep the game’s own and do not cover it.

How much does a battle royale YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your battle royale footage

Send me your channel link and one raw recording through the contact form. I’ll edit one minute of it for free and reply with an exact quote.
