Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Horror games and horror mods played by two to five friends, new co-op horror releases, escape rooms and mazes with a monster, proximity chat horror, horror party games where one player is the monster
- Editing style
- Co-op horror pacing: every player’s view lined up by the audio, a switch to the friend who sees the monster first, the scare cut on the frame and the screams held whole, and the jokes between scares kept so it feels like one night with friends. The rhythm of Puff’s “Idiots Survive” videos that I edit
- Video length
- Co-op horror videos run about 35 minutes to over an hour (SMii7Yplus’s recent uploads 22 to 48 minutes, Grizzy’s 16 minutes to about an hour, measured on Oct 18, 2026), and half of Puff’s “Idiots” videos that I edit run about 37 to 47 minutes, so most land in the $300 package or get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)

My experience and co-op horror, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 56 videos I edited with “Idiots” (Puff’s co-op series) or PETAPETA in the title, for Puff, Fright Friends, PlayBoiKobe and Rex & Alexa.
- Not proven yet: PC co-op horror games (Lethal Company, R.E.P.O., Phasmophobia, Content Warning) and their proximity chat. My co-op horror work so far is Minecraft horror mods with friends and Roblox horror games.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own co-op horror footage, before you pay anything.
Why me
- Puff’s co-op horror series is one of my biggest jobs: dozens of “Idiots Survive” videos with two to five players.
What big co-op horror channels upload in October 2026
Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent videos of three channels that play horror with friends: SMii7Yplus (22 to 48 minutes), Grizzy (16 minutes to about an hour) and IGP (about 35 minutes to almost five hours). The formats that keep coming back:
- The new co-op horror game of the week: “This NEW Cthulhu Co-op Horror Game is PURE INSANITY”.
- Old favorites coming back with an update: “The Cursed Train Game is Back...”, “This Game is Still Terrifying”.
- A group against a maze, an escape room or a hidden monster: “3 Idiots Attempt An Escape Room”.
- Horror party games where one friend hunts the others.
- Long full playthroughs of a new horror game, two hours or more.
How I edit co-op horror videos
This is how I cut the co-op horror videos I’ve edited for Puff, Rex & Alexa and Fright Friends. Where PC co-op horror games ask for something I haven’t done yet, such as proximity chat, I say how I would do it.
Every player’s view, lined up by the audio
A co-op horror video is three or four recordings of the same night. I line them up by the audio, follow the main channel’s view and switch to the friend who sees the monster first, so the viewer gets the scare before the group does.
The scare on the frame, the screams kept whole
I leave a beat of quiet before the jumpscare, cut on the first frame where the monster is readable and hold everyone’s reaction. A scream is never trimmed to save a second, and when two players scream at once, both stay.
The jokes between scares stay
With friends, the banter is half the video. I cut dead time and walking, but keep the comment that links two scares and the running jokes, so it feels like one night with friends and not a list of jumpscares.
When a friend dies, the story follows the survivors
When one player goes down, I would show the death from their view, then switch to the ones still alive and keep the dead player’s comments from the spectator view, which are often the funniest part.
Voices leveled, game sounds clear
Four voices on four mics never match. I level them so nobody is too loud or too quiet, keep the monster’s sounds clear above the talk, and in proximity chat games I would keep the voices fading as players move apart, because that distance is the horror.
The goal on screen, and an ending soon after
Survive the night, find the exit, meet the quota: the goal goes on screen early and comes back before each section. The video ends soon after the escape or the last death.

Co-op horror videos I’ve edited for Puff, Rex & Alexa and Fright Friends: Minecraft horror mods with two, three, four and five players, and Roblox PETAPETA as a duo and as a group. Start with the one that looks most like your channel.
All of these are videos I edited, tracked on my YT Jobs profile. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ
Have you edited co-op horror videos before?
Yes. I’ve edited co-op horror videos for Puff (1.83M subscribers), Rex & Alexa (2.29M) and Fright Friends: Puff’s “Idiots Survive” horror mods with two to five players and Roblox PETAPETA, all on my YT Jobs profile. I haven’t edited PC co-op horror games such as Lethal Company, R.E.P.O. or Phasmophobia for a client yet. Send a few minutes of your own footage and the free 1-minute test edit shows my cut before you pay.
Can you edit my co-op horror videos?
Yes. Send a few minutes of one night with each player’s recording if you have them, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos from 10 minutes to several hours and cut Shorts from them if you want them.
Do I need to send every friend’s recording?
It helps a lot. Send your recording plus any of your friends’ views and separate voice tracks you have. With only your view I still edit it well; with every view I can show the scare from whoever saw it first.
Can you edit a long co-op horror session into one video?
Yes. I would keep the scares, the deaths and the best jokes, cut walking and menus, and keep a simple goal on screen so viewers follow the night.
Is this different from your horror games page?
Yes. My horror gaming page covers horror in general; this one is about horror with friends, where the edit has to handle several players, several voices and the banter between scares.
How much does a co-op horror YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
