Coding tutorial YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor: you send your raw footage, I cut it and add music, text and Shorts. My closest work is screen-recorded gameplay for Mud and Puff and Erin Marie’s lessons; I haven’t edited coding tutorials for a client yet, so start with a free 1-minute test. $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits.
Free 1-minute test edit · From $55 per video · No contract · Revisions back within 24 h
9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Programming tutorials and courses, build-along projects, code reviews, developer vlogs, building an app in a weekend, tech career advice to camera, explainers of a language or a framework
- Editing style
- What I would do for coding: the code big enough to read, zooms on the line you are talking about, typing sped up and errors kept when you explain them, chapters for each step, and your camera small and out of the way
- Video length
- I edit from 8-minute videos to feature-length. Up to 20 minutes is the $150 package and up to 35 minutes the $300 one; longer videos get a custom quote. Scarlett Mae’s Japan vlog runs 17 minutes and Alli Ingram’s episodes 7 to 17; Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Your raw recording and a reference video of the style you want.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,277 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Closest proof
- I haven’t edited coding tutorials for a client yet. Closest recorded work: “Players are VERY MAD... (Roblox Rivals News) + @SlingshotBwaii 1v1” on Mud (1.26M subscribers), 334.7K views; “Surviving The Obsessed In Hardcore Minecraft” on Puff (1.83M subscribers), 43.7K views
My experience with coding tutorials, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1,277+ videos and 152M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. My closest recorded work: screen-recorded gameplay with voice that I edit for Mud (1.26M subscribers), about 3 videos a week, and Puff (1.83M), and lessons to camera that I edit for English by Erin Marie.
- Not proven yet: Coding tutorials for a client, and the code itself: I don’t check whether it works, so I follow your recording and your notes.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own footage, before you pay anything.
How I would edit your coding tutorials
I haven’t edited a coding channel yet, so this is my plan for your recording, built on the screen-recorded gameplay and the lessons to camera I edit.
Code you can read
The screen recording is scaled and zoomed on the part of the editor you are talking about, so the line is readable without pausing.
Typing sped up, thinking kept
Long stretches of typing get sped up; the moment you explain why goes at real speed.
Errors that teach
An error and how you fix it is often the best part. I keep it, with the error message highlighted on screen.
Chapters for every step
Setup, first feature, bug, deploy: each step with a title and a YouTube chapter, so viewers can jump back to the part they need.
Camera and screen
Your face in a small window while you code, full camera for the intro and the ending.
Closest real examples of my work
Three videos I edited from screen and camera recordings: a news episode and a gameplay video recorded with voice, and a lesson to camera.
These are not coding tutorials, but they are the closest recorded work I’ve edited. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026, or from my YT Jobs profile for the newest videos; links open the video on YouTube.
- Players are VERY MAD... (Roblox Rivals News) + @SlingshotBwaii 1v1 · Mud (1.26M subscribers) · 334,674 views · 13 min · Sep 9, 2026
Why it's close: A news episode built from gameplay recorded with voice: the screen is the main image and the voice leads the cut. - Surviving The Obsessed In Hardcore Minecraft · Puff (1.83M subscribers) · 43,661 views · 34 min · Nov 4, 2025
Why it's close: A long gameplay recording with voice, cut down to the moments that matter. - What Does “Have You Had a Chance To…?” Really Mean? · English by Erin Marie (53 subscribers) · 205 views · Oct 11, 2026
Why it's close: A lesson to camera: pauses and retakes out, the key phrase on screen as it is said.

FAQ
Have you edited coding tutorials before?
No, I haven’t edited coding tutorials for a client yet. My closest work with recorded footage: screen-recorded gameplay with voice that I edit for Mud and Puff, and lessons to camera that I edit for English by Erin Marie, all on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own footage is how you judge my cut before paying anything.
Can you edit my coding tutorials?
Yes. Send the raw footage of one video (all the clips, plus the separate audio if you recorded it) and one video whose style you like, and I edit one minute for free. I cut Shorts from the long video too if you want them.
Do you need to know how to code?
No, the explanation is yours. I follow your voice: what you point at gets the zoom and the highlight. A note with the key moments of a long recording makes it faster.
Can you edit a full course into separate videos?
Yes. Send the full recording and the list of lessons, and I cut one video per lesson with the same opening and chapter style.
How much does a YouTube editor for coding tutorials cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
