Comic book YouTube video editor for hire

I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. For comic book videos I would put the panel you name on screen, cropped to read on a phone. I haven’t edited comic book videos for a client yet; my closest work is a Marvel movie quiz for jayesss_ and The Spy Show. $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits.

Free 1-minute test edit · From $55 per video · No contract · Revisions back within 24 h

9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10

Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
Marvel and DC lore, a character’s history explained, comic storylines retold, movie and series breakdowns, rankings of heroes and villains, the origin of a team
Editing style
What I would do for comic book videos: the panel on screen when the script names it, the character’s name and first appearance written, spoiler warnings in one style, and pages cropped to the panel so they read on a phone. With the method of my narrated documentaries
Video length
I edit from 8-minute videos to feature-length. Up to 20 minutes is the $150 package and up to 35 minutes the $300 one; longer videos get a custom quote. The Marvel quiz runs 8 minutes and the Spy Show episode 21; Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
A finished script and narration (script and voiceover). I edit and find the visuals: archive footage, licensed stock, maps, timelines and graphics.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
Track record
Proven YouTube results: 1,277 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

My experience with comic book videos, plainly

How I would edit your comic book videos

I haven’t edited a comic book channel yet, so this is my plan for your script, built on The Spy Show and the Marvel quiz on jayesss_’s channel.

The panel when you name it

Each time the script names an issue, a scene or a panel, that panel is on screen, not a random one from another story.

Names and first appearances, written

A card with the character’s name the first time they appear, and the issue or the movie they come from, so new viewers can follow.

Panels that read on a phone

A full comic page is unreadable on a phone. I would crop to the panel that matters, move slowly across it and enlarge the speech balloon the voice is reading.

Spoilers announced

A clear warning before each spoiler, in the same style in every video, and a chapter marker so viewers can skip it.

Rankings with a counter

In a ranking of heroes or villains, a counter in the same corner and the top spots saved for the end, one reveal at a time.

Closest real examples of my work

A Marvel quiz on jayesss_’s channel and an episode of The Spy Show, the narrated series I edit: characters fans recognize, and a long story read by one voice.

These are not comic book videos, but the closest work I’ve edited. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited comic book videos before?

No, I haven’t edited comic book videos for a client yet. My Marvel work is one movie quiz for jayesss_, and my narrated work is The Spy Show, a series I edit, and the Tenerife documentary I delivered for The Interpreter, all on my YT Jobs profile. A free 1-minute test edit on your own script shows how I would handle the panels.

Can you edit my comic book videos?

Yes. Send the script, the voiceover and the panels or scans you want to use, and I edit one minute for free. I crop each page to the panel that matters, add the name cards and can cut Shorts from the long video.

Can you use panels and movie clips?

I edit what you send and tell you which panels and clips may be protected; you decide what to use. Fair use is your call, not mine.

Do you edit Marvel and DC news videos?

Yes, from your script: the news first, then the context, the order I use in Mud’s Roblox Rivals News. Leaks and rumors go on screen only from sources you give me.

How much does a YouTube editor for comic book videos cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your script

Send me your channel link, a comic book script, its voiceover and the panels through the contact form. I edit a minute for free and come back with an exact quote.
