9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Runs to the end of the line with one rule (one weapon, one class, no damage), boss fights such as Nikola Tesla, update and event news, class and ability tier lists, class against class, train builds, bond grinding guides, admin-command videos, funny moments with friends
- Editing style
- What I would do for Dead Rails: the run’s rule on screen before the train leaves, a progress strip that also marks the stretches of track I cut, looting stops folded into a few cuts, fights and boss wipes at real speed, update news first. Cut like Crazz’s 99 Nights runs with a twist and Mud’s Roblox Rivals News
- Video length
- Most Dead Rails videos run 8 to 15 minutes: on the four channels I measured on Oct 13, 2026, 17 of 24 recent Dead Rails videos of three minutes or more ran 8 to 15 minutes (median about 10), and Cos Wanderer’s five ran about 32, so most land in the $55 or $150 package. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Proof in this niche
- The real Dead Rails video I edited: “Dead Rails Funny Moments | Hilarious Fails, Epic Chaos & Zombie Train Adventures!” on Cheesymembey (6.94M subscribers), 409.1K views
My experience and Dead Rails, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1 video I edited with Dead Rails in the title, for Cheesymembey.
- Not proven yet: Dead Rails beyond one funny-moments video for Cheesymembey: a Dead Rails series of regular uploads, a full run cut from start to finish, boss fights, tier lists, update news, the class and weapon meta after each update and bond farming routes. I haven’t built any of that on client work yet.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own Dead Rails footage, before you pay anything.
What Dead Rails channels upload in October 2026
Measured on October 13, 2026, from the 12 most recent uploads of four channels that play Dead Rails: Cos Wanderer, SomeSteven, Supttato and Outzoner. More than half of those 48 videos have Dead Rails in the title, several more are about the game without naming it, and the rest are other Roblox games such as Runaways, Last Stop and Forsaken. Of the Dead Rails videos of three minutes or more, 17 of 24 run 8 to 15 minutes, with a median of about 10, and Cos Wanderer’s five run 32. Roblox lists the game as created on January 1, 2025; when I checked on October 13, it had passed 6.6 billion visits and 13,293 people were playing at that moment (Dead Rails on Roblox). The formats that keep coming back:
- A full run with one weapon or one rule: Outzoner’s “Beating Dead Rails Using a Minigun” (14 minutes) and “Using 20 Bloxing Gloves to Beat Dead Rails”.
- Update and event news, often as “the good and the bad”: Supttato’s verdicts on the Frontier update and the Fallen Frontier event. All 12 of the channel’s newest uploads run 8 to 10 minutes.
- Tier lists and class verdicts: SomeSteven’s “The ULTIMATE Dead Rails ABILITY TIER LIST” and “They RUINED these CLASSES in Dead Rails..”, and Supttato’s Vampire against Necromancer comparison.
- Boss fights and train builds: Cos Wanderer summons a crocodile army against Tesla and builds an oil rig on a train.
- Guides and admin commands: Cos Wanderer’s quest walkthrough for the Fallen Frontier update, Outzoner’s bond grinding guide and SomeSteven’s “I USED THE CRAZIEST ADMIN COMMANDS in Dead Rails”.
How I would edit your Dead Rails videos
The one Dead Rails video I’ve edited so far is a 7-minute funny-moments cut for Cheesymembey, so for runs, bosses, tier lists and update news this is how I would do it, built on the Roblox survival runs I edit for Crazz and Rex & Alexa and the update news I edit for Mud.
The rule and the goal before the train leaves
If the video is “Beating Dead Rails using only a minigun”, the weapon, the rule and the goal would be on screen before the train pulls out of the first station, and a shot of the minigun firing, the thing the thumbnail promises, would show up within the first 30 seconds, even as a preview before the run starts. It is the rule I follow in the Roblox challenge videos I edit, such as Crazz’s 99 Nights runs, where the twist (banned classes, random weapons) is clear from the start.
A progress strip instead of the whole ride
A Dead Rails run is mostly track. I would keep a small progress strip in the same corner of every episode, from the first station to the end of the line, and let it jump when a quiet stretch of track is cut, so viewers always know how far the train has got. It is the fixed counter I use in Roblox challenge videos, which also marks the time skips.
Looting stops folded, gunfights at real speed
Searching a town for ammo, bonds and fuel would be folded into a few quick cuts that show what you found, and your commentary between towns stays, so the run still feels continuous. When the horde catches the train, the fight stays at real speed so every shot is readable, with the gunfire and the engine audible but never louder than your voice.
Bosses like Tesla: what is at stake, the fight, the result
Before a boss fight such as Nikola Tesla, one line on screen would say what is at stake: the class, the weapon, how much health the team has left. The fight plays close to real time and the section ends soon after the boss falls. If a wipe ends the run and you start over, the first wipe stays whole and the restarts go into a quick montage with an attempt counter, as in my Roblox obby videos.
Funny moments: cut on the fail, keep the reaction
Train games go wrong in funny ways: a friend falls off the moving train, someone gets left behind at a stop, a pile of zombies climbs aboard. I would cut on the frame it goes wrong and keep the laugh whole. Fails and chaos on a zombie train are what Cheesymembey’s “Dead Rails Funny Moments”, the one Dead Rails video I’ve edited so far, is built on.
Update news and tier lists: the verdict first
For an update or event video, the new class, perk or area goes on screen first, then why it matters, then the details: the order I use in Mud’s Roblox Rivals News. For a class or ability tier list, one tier board would be designed once and reused, and each class would drop into its row as you give the verdict. The closest video I’ve edited is BaconsOwnTheUniverse’s worst-to-best ranking of every BedWars kit.
Train builds: the plan, the time-lapse, the test run
For a build like an oil rig on a train, I would show the plan first, speed through the building in a time-lapse that stops on the key parts, and give the first ride on the finished train real time, because that is the payoff. The closest videos I have are build videos for Rex & Alexa, such as “ROBLOX BUILD A PLANE WITH ALEXA!”.
The real Dead Rails video I edited, plus the closest formats
First the one Dead Rails video I’ve edited so far, Cheesymembey’s funny moments, then long-form Roblox videos picked because their format is the closest to a Dead Rails run: survival runs with a twist and admin powers for Crazz, an update verdict for Mud and a worst-to-best ranking for BaconsOwnTheUniverse. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

FAQ
Have you edited Dead Rails videos before?
Yes, once. I’ve edited one Dead Rails video so far, for Cheesymembey (6.94M subscribers): “Dead Rails Funny Moments”, a 7-minute video from April 2025 on my YT Jobs profile. No full run, challenge, tier list or update video of the game yet, and one video is not a series. My regular Roblox work is survival runs for Crazz and Rex & Alexa and update news for Mud. The free 1-minute test edit on your own Dead Rails footage shows you how I would cut yours.
Can you edit my Dead Rails videos?
Yes. Send a few minutes of a raw Dead Rails run, ideally one with a boss fight or a close call on the train, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit anything from 8-minute update videos to 30-minute runs and longer, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.
Do you edit other Roblox survival and train games?
Survival games, yes: 99 Nights in the Forest for Crazz, Rex & Alexa and DakBlox, and Forsaken for DakBlox (see my 99 Nights in the Forest page). Last Stop and Runaways, which Cos Wanderer and SomeSteven also play, are not in my portfolio yet; they would get the same treatment as a Dead Rails run.
Can you make tier list and class comparison graphics?
Yes. A tier list gets one board designed once and reused, with each class or ability card dropping into its row as you give the verdict. A class against class video puts both classes side by side, with the same test for each and the result written on screen.
How much does a Dead Rails YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
