Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
Numbered fail and funny moment series for one game, Top 100 lists for a new game, your own Shorts joined into one long video, best-of a season or a year, community clip compilations
Editing style
What I would do for compilations: every clip cut to its setup and punchline, the strongest clips at the start and the end, a number or counter that never moves, one short card for each clip’s creator, the loudness matched across clips from different sources, and vertical Shorts reframed for a wide video. Close to the funny moments videos I’ve edited for Cheesymembey and Mr. Marticson
Video length
Compilations on big channels run about 8 to 17 minutes (GameSprout’s recent uploads 8 to 12, Red Arcade’s and Top Gaming Plays’ mostly 9 to 17, measured on Oct 18, 2026), so most land in the $55 or $150 package. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
Track record
Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

My experience and gaming compilation, plainly

What big gaming compilation channels upload in October 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent videos of three compilation channels: GameSprout (8 to 12 minutes), Red Arcade (mostly about 15 minutes, plus one clip video of three hours) and Top Gaming Plays (9 to 16 minutes). The formats that keep coming back:

How I would edit your gaming compilations

No compilation channel has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan for your video. Each point comes from real work of mine: funny moments for Cheesymembey, tucker and Mr. Marticson and a ranked countdown for BaconsOwnTheUniverse.

Every clip cut to setup and punchline

A compilation lives or dies on each clip. I would cut every one to the second before the setup and end it just after the reaction, so nothing drags. A laugh or a scream is never trimmed to save a second; the build-up before it is.

The order is the edit

I would open on one of the three strongest clips, keep a strong one every minute or so to hold viewers, and save the best for the end. That order matters more than any effect.

A number that never moves

For a Top 100 or a numbered fail list, the counter goes in the same corner and style for every clip and every episode of the series, the way I keep the same counter across Roblox challenge series.

Credit for every clip

For community clips, I would put one small card with the creator’s name on each clip, in the same place every time. You handle the permission to use the clips; I make sure every credit you give me is on screen.

Clips from many sources, one sound level

Clips come from different mics, games and loudness. I would level every clip so the video never jumps from a whisper to a blast, and keep the game sounds that make the joke land.

Your Shorts, rebuilt for a wide screen

For a compilation of your own Shorts, I would reframe each vertical clip for a 16:9 video (a layout or a blurred background), remove the repeated intro and outro of every Short, and group them by theme so the long video has a shape.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Five videos from my work for Cheesymembey, tucker, Mr. Marticson, Navam and BaconsOwnTheUniverse, chosen because their format sits closest to a compilation: funny moments cut from many short moments, and one long ranked countdown. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is gaming compilation. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited gaming compilation videos before?

No, I haven’t edited gaming compilation videos for a client yet. My long-form gaming work is Roblox (Rex & Alexa, Mud), Minecraft (Puff, Swaylemc’s full movies), horror games and Madden tournaments, all listed on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own gaming compilation footage is how you judge my gaming compilation edit before paying anything.

Can you edit my gaming compilation videos?

Yes. Send the clips for one section (or a few of your Shorts) and a video whose style you like, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos from a few minutes to over an hour and cut Shorts from them if you want them.

Can you turn my Shorts into one long video?

Yes. Send the Shorts or their original files. I would reframe them for a wide video, cut the repeated intros and outros, and group them by theme or game so the long video flows.

Do you find the clips for me?

I edit the clips you send. If they come from other creators, you handle the permission and give me the names, and I put the credit on screen for every clip.

Can you keep up with a numbered series every week?

Yes. After the first video, my turnaround is 1 to 2 days per video, and the counter, cards and intro are designed once and reused, so every episode looks the same.

How much does a gaming compilation YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your gaming compilation footage

Send me your channel link and one raw recording through the contact form. I’ll edit one minute of it for free and reply with an exact quote.
