Geopolitics YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. For geopolitics I would build your script and voiceover on one base map, with borders, routes and leaders added as the voice reaches them. I haven’t edited geopolitics videos for a client yet; my closest work is The Spy Show, which I edit, with animated maps. $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits.
Free 1-minute test edit · From $55 per video · No contract · Revisions back within 24 h
9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Why a country does what it does, borders and disputes explained, trade routes and resources, alliances and rivalries, the history behind the news, country profiles
- Editing style
- What I would do for geopolitics: one base map for the whole video, borders, routes and arrows that animate with the voice, flags and leaders named on screen, the date on every event, and the source shown when your script cites one. With the method of my narrated documentaries
- Video length
- I edit from 8-minute videos to feature-length. Up to 20 minutes is the $150 package and up to 35 minutes the $300 one; longer videos get a custom quote. The three Spy Show episodes shown here run 13, 14 and 21 minutes; Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- A finished script and narration (script and voiceover). I edit and find the visuals: archive footage, licensed stock, maps, timelines and graphics.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)

My experience with geopolitics videos, plainly
- Proven: I edit The Spy Show, Vincent Meijer’s narrated spy-history series: episodes on the CIA, Mossad and a Soviet jet, edited with animated maps for journeys and real documents with their real dates. That is the closest I have to a geopolitics channel.
- Not proven yet: Geopolitics videos for a client, and the analysis itself: I don’t take sides or check claims, so every figure and every claim on screen comes from your script. Broadcast news clips are your call: I tell you which clips come from a broadcast.
- How to check it before paying: A free 1-minute test edit on a passage of your script with a map in it, before you pay anything.
How I would edit your geopolitics videos
I haven’t edited a geopolitics channel yet, so this is my plan for your script, taken from how I edit The Spy Show, where journeys get animated maps and documents keep their real dates.
One map for the whole video
The same base map from start to finish, in one style, so the viewer always knows where they are. Each country, route or front is added as the voice reaches it.
Arrows and borders that move with the voice
Troop movements, trade routes and disputed borders animate in step with the narration, not before it, so the map explains instead of decorating.
Dates and sources on screen
Every event gets its date, and when your script cites a source or a figure, it appears written, so a viewer who disagrees can check it.
Leaders with a face
Each leader or official gets a photo and a name card the first time they appear, and the same one for the rest of the video.
The history behind the news
When the script goes back in time to explain today, the look changes (archive, older maps) so the viewer feels the jump, as in a spy story told across decades.
Closest real examples of my work
Three episodes of The Spy Show, the narrated spy-history series I edit. They are history, not geopolitics, but they deal with states, intelligence services and places, and the series uses animated maps for journeys.
These are not geopolitics videos, but the closest work I’ve edited. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ
Have you edited geopolitics videos before?
No, I haven’t edited geopolitics videos for a client yet. My closest work is The Spy Show, a spy-history series I edit, with episodes on the CIA and Mossad and animated maps, plus the Tenerife documentary I delivered for The Interpreter, all on my YT Jobs profile. A free 1-minute test edit on your own script shows you how I would build your map before you pay anything.
Can you edit my geopolitics videos?
Yes. Send the script, the voiceover and any maps, charts or sources you want shown, and I edit one minute for free. I build the base map and the arrows, find the archive and a photo of each leader, and can cut Shorts from the long video.
Do you take a side in my videos?
No. The analysis and the opinions are yours; I build the maps and the visuals around your script, and I flag any figure that looks inconsistent so you can check it.
Can you make the maps for my channel?
Yes. Simple animated 2D maps with borders, routes and labels, in one style you can reuse in every video. Detailed 3D globes are not in my portfolio yet.
How much does a YouTube editor for geopolitics videos cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
