9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Gorilla Tag ghost, entity and myth hunts, playing as the monster, lobby videos with strangers (trolling, toxic players, fake clan tryouts), “Gorilla Tag, but…” challenges, color hide and seek, mods and old versions of the game
- Editing style
- What I would do for Gorilla Tag: chases kept at real speed and cut on the tag, strangers in voice chat you can actually hear, ghost hunts built on silence, one counter for myth and ghost lists. Closest to my Roblox VR videos for HyperCookiie and my VR horror mod video for Puff
- Video length
- Checked on Oct 13, 2026: most Gorilla Tag episodes on big main channels are 11 to 25 minutes long, which is the Standard ($150) or Long ($300) package. Second channels go longer: one big creator’s second channel posts hour-long videos (up to 78 minutes), quoted separately. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Closest proof
- I haven’t edited Gorilla Tag for a client yet. Closest long-form work: “I Let Strangers TOUCH Me IRL In Roblox VR!” on HyperCookiie (1.88M subscribers), 821.1K views; “I Camped Overnight with Horror Mods in VR Minecraft” on Puff (1.83M subscribers), 222K views
My experience and Gorilla Tag, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1,250+ videos and 147M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. I edit for Mud (1.26M subscribers), Puff (1.83M) and Rex & Alexa (2.29M); for Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Not proven yet: Gorilla Tag itself: its maps, modes, mods and the running jokes its young audience expects, and fast arm-swing chases filmed from the headset. My VR work so far is in Roblox and Minecraft.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own Gorilla Tag footage, before you pay anything.
Why me
- VR is already on my YT Jobs profile: 10 videos played in a headset, for HyperCookiie (Roblox VR), ashlele (Dress To Impress in VR) and Puff (VR Minecraft with horror mods).
- Young audiences: I edited 18 Roblox roleplay and game videos for BloxWorld TV, a kids’ channel, and I edit Dress To Impress videos for ashlele.
What big Gorilla Tag channels upload in October 2026
Checked on October 13, 2026: the 12 latest uploads of four channels built on Gorilla Tag and one VR channel that plays it (Be Prepared, its second channel Be Prepared Extras, Erik1515, h4kpy and the VR channel jmancurly). Of those 60 videos, 37 have Gorilla Tag in the title. There are two lengths. Most Gorilla Tag episodes on the main channels run 11 to 25 minutes. Be Prepared Extras posted 12 videos of an hour to 78 minutes in 12 days, and Erik1515 mixes 11 to 23 minute episodes with a few videos of two to three hours. Big variety channels dip in too: Tyler & Snowi has a Gorilla Tag monster video among its latest uploads. Formats that show up again and again:
- Ghost, entity and myth hunts, with long lists of myths, mysteries, theories or conspiracies tested one by one (Be Prepared and Be Prepared Extras).
- Playing as the monster, or with guns against the monsters.
- Lobby videos with real players: “I Talked To a Toxic Players MOM in Gorilla Tag..”, fake pro clan tryouts, sneaking into a beginners’ tournament (h4kpy).
- One-rule challenges: “Gorilla Tag, But You Can Die” (Erik1515), “Blind, Deaf, and Mute in Gorilla Tag” (jmancurly).
- Hide and seek, such as one-color hide and seek, and videos that ask the viewer to spot the hider.
- Mods and the game’s history: “I Tried Different Versions of Gorilla Tag..” (Erik1515).
How I would edit your Gorilla Tag videos
Gorilla Tag isn’t in my portfolio yet. This is how I would cut it, from the headset videos I’ve edited for HyperCookiie, ashlele and Puff and the challenge videos I edit for Rex & Alexa.
Chases at arm-swing speed, cut on the tag
In Gorilla Tag you run and climb with your arms, so a chase is fast and the headset view jolts with every push. I wouldn’t speed chases up or slow them down: I would trim the run-up to the moment the gap closes, cut at the instant the tag lands and hold the reaction. Cut on the hit, keep the laugh, as I do in Rex & Alexa’s Roblox challenges.
Strangers in the lobby you can actually hear
Lobby videos live on what random players say over voice chat, and their mics are quiet, far away or clipping. I would level each voice against yours, caption the lines the joke depends on and bleep swearing if your viewers are young. HyperCookiie’s “I Let Strangers TOUCH Me IRL In Roblox VR!”, which I edited, is built on the same thing: strangers in the game and the reactions to them.
Ghost hunts: the silence first, then the scare
For ghost, entity and myth videos I would keep the quiet stretch before something shows up, let footsteps and the game’s ambience carry it, and make the cut the moment the ghost can be seen clearly. Memes come after the scream, never on top of it. Puff’s overnight VR horror mod video, which I edited, is the closest I have to this format.
A counter for long myth and ghost lists
A video that tests every myth or every ghost needs the viewer to know how far in they are. I would put a fixed counter in the same corner in every episode, “Myth 14” with a confirmed or busted stamp, and fold the entries that go nowhere into a quick montage. It is the attempt counter from my Roblox obby edits, applied to a list.
Hide and seek: a second to spot the hider
In one-color hide and seek the viewer wants to find the hider before the seeker does. I would hold the frame on the hiding spot for a second or two with a small countdown, then cut to the find and keep the reaction. Hide and seek is already in my portfolio: Rex & Alexa’s Roblox shrink hide and seek and Dr laba’s Dress To Impress hide and seek with fans.
Hour-long second-channel videos in chapters
If you post a tight episode on your main channel and a long cut on a second one, I would keep the main video at 15 to 20 minutes and split the long one into chapters, with a one-line reminder of the goal at the start of each. Anything past 35 minutes is quoted on its own, and length is not new to me: Swaylemc’s full Minecraft movies go close to four hours.
Mods and old versions, named on screen
For mod showcases and old-version videos, the name of each mod or the year of each version would go on screen the moment it loads, before the gameplay, on one card designed once and reused. The new thing first, the explanation after, the same news-first order as the Roblox Rivals News videos I edit for Mud.
Closest real examples of my gaming work
Five of these six videos I edited were played in a VR headset; the sixth is Roblox hide and seek built on one twist. Start with the one nearest to your own uploads.
None of these is Gorilla Tag. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.
- I Let Strangers TOUCH Me IRL In Roblox VR! · HyperCookiie (1.88M subscribers) · 821,122 views · 9 min · Aug 9, 2025
Why it's close: Strangers in a Roblox VR server and the player’s reaction in real life: the shape of a Gorilla Tag lobby or trolling video. - I Camped Overnight with Horror Mods in VR Minecraft · Puff (1.83M subscribers) · 221,980 views · 31 min · Oct 22, 2025
Why it's close: A night of horror mods played in a headset: among my videos, the nearest to a Gorilla Tag ghost or entity hunt. - I Broke EVERY Rule In Roblox VR... · HyperCookiie (1.88M subscribers) · 129,886 views · 12 min · Sep 28, 2025
Why it's close: Breaking every rule of a VR game on purpose: the same promise as the Gorilla Tag videos where a player breaks every rule until the ban comes. - DON'T PLAY Dress To Impress IN VR.. · ashlele (500K subscribers) · 737,553 views · 8 min · Jul 21, 2025
Why it's close: A popular flat game played in a headset, with the body movement and the chaos that VR adds. - PRETENDING to be ODERS in Roblox VR... · HyperCookiie (1.88M subscribers) · 94,328 views · 11 min · Aug 25, 2025
Why it's close: Pretending to be someone else in Roblox VR, among other players: the same setup as trolling a lobby as a ghost or a fake bot. - ROBLOX SHRINK HIDE AND SEEK WITH ALEXA! 2 · Rex & Alexa (2.29M subscribers) · 389,831 views · 11 min · Jul 30, 2025
Why it's close: Hide and seek around one twist (everyone shrinks): the nearest I have to one-color hide and seek, where the whole video is about the hiding spots.

FAQ
Have you edited Gorilla Tag videos before?
No, I haven’t edited Gorilla Tag videos for a client yet. What comes closest, all listed on my YT Jobs profile, is VR: 10 videos played in a headset for HyperCookiie, ashlele and Puff, plus Roblox hide and seek and challenges for Rex & Alexa. A free 1-minute test on a few minutes of your own Gorilla Tag recording shows you my cut before you pay anything.
Can you edit my Gorilla Tag videos?
Yes. Record a normal session (headset view, third-person camera or both) and send me a few minutes of it: one minute comes back edited for free, and you decide from that. Episodes of 10 to 25 minutes and hour-long second-channel cuts both work, and Shorts can come out of each one if you ask.
Do you edit Gorilla Tag horror videos: ghosts, entities and myths?
Not in Gorilla Tag yet. The nearest thing I do is horror in other games: Minecraft horror mods with friends for Puff (two of them in VR) and Roblox horror such as Forsaken for DakBlox. A ghost hunt in Gorilla Tag would be cut the same way, with the tension left alone until the ghost is on screen and the screaming kept in. More on my Roblox horror editing page.
Can you keep a Gorilla Tag video kid-friendly?
Yes. If your viewers are young, I would bleep or mute swearing from strangers in the lobby and keep memes and sound effects clean. I edited 18 Roblox roleplay and game videos for BloxWorld TV, a kids’ channel; more on my kids’ channel editing page.
Can you edit the Gorilla Tag games inside Roblox?
Yes, I can. I haven’t edited one yet, but they are Roblox videos, and Roblox is most of my gaming work. A Roblox game built on Gorilla Tag, horror ones included, would get the edit I give Roblox horror and challenge videos for DakBlox and Rex & Alexa.
How much does a Gorilla Tag YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
