Helldivers 2 YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. I edit long-form gaming for 1.26M–2.29M-subscriber channels (Mud, Puff, Rex & Alexa) and can edit yours: $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. My closest work is Puff’s co-op survival with friends; I haven’t edited Helldivers 2 videos for a client yet, so start with a free 1-minute test.

9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Squad missions on the highest difficulties, solo max difficulty runs, loadout and stratagem tests, new warbond and update news, mod showcases, commentary on the game and Sony, funny moments and fail compilations
- Editing style
- What I would do for Helldivers 2: the friendly fire or the orbital strike cut on the frame with the reaction held, the mission objective on screen, the walk between objectives gone, and news cut in the order I use in Mud’s Roblox Rivals News. Close to Puff’s co-op chaos with friends
- Video length
- OhDough’s recent videos run 21 to 47 minutes (most about 40 to 45), LtBuzzLitebeer’s 13 to 46 minutes and funny moments compilations 10 minutes or about 50 (measured on Oct 18, 2026), so most land in the $150 or $300 package. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,277 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Closest proof
- I haven’t edited Helldivers 2 for a client yet. Closest long-form work: “When 5 Idiots Play Nuclear Nightmare” on PlayBoiKobe (324K subscribers), 14.7K views; “3 Idiots Survive Minecraft's Scariest Raft” on Puff (1.83M subscribers), 81.7K views
My experience and Helldivers 2, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1,277+ videos and 152M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. I edit for Mud (1.26M subscribers), Puff (1.83M) and Rex & Alexa (2.29M); for Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Not proven yet: Helldivers 2 itself: stratagems, enemy factions, the galactic war and the meta of each warbond. My co-op and shooter work so far is in Minecraft and Roblox.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own Helldivers 2 footage, before you pay anything.
Why me
- Co-op videos with friends every week for Puff, where the jokes and the panic of the group are the video.
- Weekly update news for Mud, about 3 a week, the rhythm of warbond and patch videos.
What big Helldivers 2 channels upload in 2026
Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent long videos of OhDough, LtBuzzLitebeer and ReplayNext Games. OhDough’s run from 21 to 47 minutes, most of them about 40 to 45, LtBuzzLitebeer’s from 13 to 46 minutes, and ReplayNext alternates 10 minute compilations with ones of about 50. The formats that keep coming back:
- A weapon or a loadout put to the test on a full mission: “Immolation is the NEW best grenade for Clearing Hordes of bugs”.
- Mods that change the game: “The Best & Worst Gameplay Changing Mods I’ve Tried”.
- Every new warbond the week it lands: “So... NEW Warbond is here.”.
- Commentary on the game and its publisher: “The Sony Situation Goes Nuclear+...”.
- Balance arguments: “Deadeye Heavy Pen Would be... Balanced?!”.
- Numbered funny moments and fails compilations.
How I would edit your Helldivers 2 videos
No Helldivers 2 channel has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan. Each point comes from work I already do: Puff’s co-op videos with friends, PlayBoiKobe’s 5 Idiots video and Mud’s weekly news.
Friendly fire, cut on the frame
The best moments in Helldivers 2 are the accidents: the orbital strike on your own squad, the hellpod on a friend. I would cut on the frame of the hit and hold the reactions of the whole squad, never trimming a laugh to save a second, as in Puff’s co-op videos.
The objective, then the chaos
Viewers need to know what the squad is trying to do. I would put the mission objective on screen in a small card, the same every episode, so the chaos around it reads as a story and not as noise.
The walk between objectives gone
Missions have long walks and quiet stretches. I would cut them, keep the commentary that links two fights and speed up extraction waits, so a 40 minute mission keeps moving.
Loadout tests that prove the point
A loadout video makes a claim: this grenade clears bug hordes. I would show the loadout clearly on screen, then the moment it works (or fails) on the highest difficulty, and keep your verdict whole.
Warbond news in a fixed order
For news I would use the order I use in Mud’s Roblox Rivals News: what is new on screen first, then why it matters, then your take. Fast to turn around, the same shape every week.
Audio for a battlefield
Explosions bury voices. I would level the squad’s voices so every joke is heard, duck the explosions under them without losing their weight and add sound effects on the jokes, not on every shot.
Closest real examples of my gaming work
Four long-form videos I edited, chosen because their format sits closest to a Helldivers 2 video: a group of friends in a co-op game for PlayBoiKobe, two of Puff’s squad survival videos and an update video for Mud. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.
None of these is Helldivers 2. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ
Have you edited Helldivers 2 videos before?
No, I haven’t edited Helldivers 2 videos for a client yet. I edit co-op videos with friends for Puff and weekly update news for Mud, and I edited PlayBoiKobe’s “When 5 Idiots Play Nuclear Nightmare”, all on my YT Jobs profile. To see my cut on your own Helldivers 2 footage before you pay, ask for the free 1-minute test edit.
Can you edit my Helldivers 2 videos?
Yes. Send a few minutes of one recorded mission, with your squad’s voice chat and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.
Can you edit a funny moments compilation from many sessions?
Yes. Send the sessions and I pick the moments, cut each one on the hit, keep the reactions and order them so the video builds instead of starting with the best clip.
Can you work with each squad member’s recording?
Yes. Send each recording and I line them up by audio and cut to the best angle for each moment, so a friendly fire kill can be seen from both sides.
Do you edit other co-op games?
Yes. My How to Fish page covers chaos with friends and my ARC Raiders page another squad shooter.
How much does a Helldivers 2 YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
