Pokémon Nuzlocke YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. I edit long-form gaming for 1.26M–2.29M-subscriber channels (Mud, Puff, Rex & Alexa) and can edit yours: $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. My closest work is challenge videos with rules and counters for Crazz and Puff; I haven’t edited Pokémon Nuzlocke videos for a client yet, so start with a free 1-minute test.
Free 1-minute test edit · From $55 per video · No contract · Revisions back within 24 h
9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Hardcore Nuzlockes, one-type or one-color runs, randomizer Nuzlockes, Kaizo and ROM hack runs, two-player and team Nuzlockes, “every generation” challenges, rankings of every Pokémon used
- Editing style
- What I would do for Nuzlockes: the rules on screen at the start, the team always visible, every death marked so it hurts, grinding compressed with a counter and the big battles kept turn by turn. Close to the rule-based challenges I edit for Crazz and the attempt counters in Rex & Alexa’s obbies
- Video length
- Nuzlocke channels upload long: SilphSpectre’s recent videos 39 to 55 minutes, FlygonHG’s 24 minutes to 1 hour 31, Captain Kidd’s 15 minutes to 1 hour 37 (measured on Oct 18, 2026), so most land in the $300 package or get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Closest proof
- I haven’t edited Pokémon Nuzlocke for a client yet. Closest long-form work: “99 Nights, But Every Day = Pelt Trader Upgrades” on Crazz (10.7K subscribers), 820K views; “Minecraft, But Item Drops Are Random And Multiplied…” on Skeppy (6.18M subscribers), 95.9K views
My experience and Pokémon Nuzlocke, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1,250+ videos and 147M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. I edit for Mud (1.26M subscribers), Puff (1.83M) and Rex & Alexa (2.29M); for Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Not proven yet: Pokémon itself: emulator footage, battle menus, the team and route logic of a Nuzlocke, and calcs. My challenge work so far is Roblox and Minecraft, with rules, random items and counters.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own Pokémon Nuzlocke footage, before you pay anything.
Why me
- Rule-based challenge series every week: Crazz’s “99 Nights, But...” videos.
- Randomized challenges: Skeppy’s “Minecraft, But Item Drops Are Random And Multiplied…”.
What big Nuzlocke channels upload in 2026
Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent long videos of three Nuzlocke channels: SilphSpectre, FlygonHG and Captain Kidd. What keeps coming back:
- One extra rule on top of the Nuzlocke, in the title: “Can I Beat Pokémon LeafGreen with ONLY Water Types!? (Hardcore Nuzlocke)”, a whole series by SilphSpectre, one type per video.
- Odd team rules: “Bald Pokémon Only!”, “Blue Pokémon Only”, randomizers.
- Harder games: Kaizo and ROM hacks, “How I Survived Pokémon Emerald Kaizo”.
- Two-player Nuzlockes and “every generation” marathons.
SilphSpectre’s videos run 39 to 55 minutes, FlygonHG’s 24 minutes to 1 hour 31, Captain Kidd’s 15 minutes to 1 hour 37. A full run of a game is squeezed into under an hour: the edit decides what stays.
How I would edit your Pokémon Nuzlocke videos
No Nuzlocke channel has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan. Each point comes from challenge videos I already edit: Crazz’s rule-based 99 Nights challenges, Puff’s hardcore survival and Rex & Alexa’s obbies with attempt counters.
The rules first, in one card
A Nuzlocke has rules viewers need before the first encounter: one catch per route, a fainted Pokémon is dead, plus your extra rule. I would put them on one clean card at the start and bring a short reminder back when a rule decides a moment.
The team always visible
I would keep a small team bar on screen (sprites, levels, and a mark for the dead ones) in the same place every video, so viewers can follow the run at a glance. It is the same idea as the fixed counter I use in every challenge series.
Every death hurts
A death is the story of a Nuzlocke. I would slow down on the turn that caused it, drop the music, and add the Pokémon to a graveyard card, so the loss lands before the run moves on.
Hours of play in minutes
A full run takes many hours. I would compress routes, grinding and healing with a time or level counter, keep only the encounters that matter, and give the gym leaders and the rival battles time to breathe, turn by turn where it is close.
Battles you can read on a phone
Battle text and menus are small. I would zoom into the key moves, add a short caption for the big decisions (switching, a risky move) and keep the HP bars readable on a phone screen.
Chapters by badge
For runs near an hour I would add YouTube chapters by gym badge or area, so viewers can jump to the battle they came for.
Closest real examples of my gaming work
Challenge videos I edited, chosen because their format sits closest to a Nuzlocke: rule-based and randomized challenges for Crazz and Skeppy, hardcore survival for Puff and an obby with attempt counters for Rex & Alexa. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.
None of these is Pokémon Nuzlocke. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.
- 99 Nights, But Every Day = Pelt Trader Upgrades · Crazz (10.7K subscribers) · 820,024 views · 17 min · Jan 26, 2026
Why it's close: A challenge with one extra rule in the title, followed episode after episode, like a one-type Nuzlocke series. - Minecraft, But Item Drops Are Random And Multiplied… · Skeppy (6.18M subscribers) · 95,937 views · 17 min · Jan 20, 2025
Why it's close: Random drops that change every run, the shape of a randomizer Nuzlocke. - Surviving 99 Nights But My WEAPONS Are RANDOM! · Crazz (10.7K subscribers) · 39,384 views · 23 min · Dec 11, 2025
Why it's close: Survival with random weapons: the plan changes with every roll, as with random encounters. - Surviving The Obsessed In Hardcore Minecraft · Puff (1.83M subscribers) · 43,661 views · 34 min · Nov 4, 2025
Why it's close: Hardcore Minecraft, where one death ends the run: the tension of a hardcore Nuzlocke. - ROBLOX FAT AND SKINNY OBBY WITH ALEXA! · Rex & Alexa (2.29M subscribers) · 417,261 views · 11 min · Sep 23, 2025
Why it's close: An obby challenge, the format where retries get compressed so the run keeps moving.

FAQ
Have you edited Pokémon Nuzlocke videos before?
No, I haven’t edited Pokémon Nuzlocke videos for a client yet. I have edited challenge videos with rules and counters for Crazz, Puff and Rex & Alexa, and randomized challenges for Skeppy, all on my YT Jobs profile. To see my cut on your own run before you pay, ask for the free 1-minute test edit.
Can you edit my Pokémon Nuzlocke videos?
Yes. Send the recording of one part of the run (emulator capture plus your voice) and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos from 10 minutes to over an hour, and cut Shorts from the best deaths and comebacks if you want them.
How much of a full run makes it into the video?
Usually a small part: the encounters that matter, the deaths, and the big battles. I would compress the rest with counters and a short recap, and keep any moment you flag as important.
Can you build the team bar and graveyard graphics?
Yes. I would build them once in your channel’s style and reuse them in every run, updating sprites and levels as the run goes.
How much does a Pokémon Nuzlocke YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
