Overwatch YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. I edit long-form gaming for 1.26M–2.29M-subscriber channels (Mud, Puff, Rex & Alexa) and can edit yours: $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. My client gaming work is mostly Roblox and Minecraft; I haven’t edited Overwatch videos for a client yet, so start with a free 1-minute test on your footage.
Free 1-minute test edit · From $55 per video · No contract · Revisions back within 24 h
9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Season and patch breakdowns, new hero ability guides, mythbusters, spectating and guess-the-rank videos, challenges that end only when you lose, Play of the Game compilations, hero rework reviews
- Editing style
- What I would do for Overwatch: the biggest change first with a before-and-after card, hero and ability icons designed once, clues marked on screen in guess-the-rank videos, easy wins compressed with a win counter. Cut like my Roblox Rivals news for Mud and my ranked list for BaconsOwnTheUniverse
- Video length
- Overwatch videos on active channels run a median 19.8 minutes (24 recent videos from KarQ and emongg, measured on Oct 13, 2026), most between 8 and 31, so they land in the $55, $150 or $300 package; a challenge that ends only when you lose can pass two hours and gets a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Closest proof
- I haven’t edited Overwatch for a client yet. Closest long-form work: “The SEASON 1 UPDATE... (Roblox Rivals News) + FREE Skins” on Mud (1.26M subscribers), 104K views; “ALL 100 KITS RANKED IN ROBLOX BEDWARS [Worst To Best]” on BaconsOwnTheUniverse (17.4K subscribers), 158K views
My experience and Overwatch, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1,250+ videos and 147M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. I edit for Mud (1.26M subscribers), Puff (1.83M) and Rex & Alexa (2.29M); for Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Not proven yet: Overwatch-specific judgment: reading a team fight, an ultimate trade or a new hero’s value on sight. I haven’t built that on client work yet.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own Overwatch footage, before you pay anything.
What big Overwatch channels upload in 2026
Overwatch 2 is now called just Overwatch: on February 4, 2026, game director Aaron Keller announced that Blizzard was dropping the “2”, as Shacknews reported. Same game, same kind of videos. Measured on October 13, 2026, from the 12 most recent long videos of two active channels (KarQ and emongg), during Season 5 and the arrival of the new support hero Doctrine. The median video runs 19.8 minutes. The formats that keep coming back:
- Every change in a new season or mid-season patch, and every ability of a new hero.
- Mythbusters for each new season or hero.
- Spectating ranked players and guessing their rank.
- Long challenges, like a video that doesn’t end until he loses.
- Play of the Game bingo with viewers’ clips, and hero rework reviews.
How I would edit your Overwatch videos
I haven’t cut Overwatch for a client, so this is how I would do it, built on what I already do every week for gaming channels.
The biggest change first
For a season or patch breakdown, the change that matters most goes first, with a before-and-after card on screen, then the rest in order. It is the news-first order I use in Mud’s Roblox Rivals News, where a weapon change or a new season leads the video.
Icons and cards designed once
Hero portraits, ability icons, the buff and nerf cards and the end screen would be designed once and reused, so every breakdown looks like the same series.
Guess the rank: clues on screen, reveal at the end
The rule and the rank options go on screen in one line; each clue you point out gets marked, and the reveal comes at the end of the match with your reaction kept whole. I’ve edited a guessing game for Rex & Alexa.
Long challenges: a win counter
In a video that doesn’t end until you lose, a win counter stays fixed in one corner, easy wins are compressed, and the close games and the final loss play close to real time. It is how I cut repeated attempts in Roblox obby videos.
Team fights kept readable
I wouldn’t chop a team fight into pieces: I’d cut before and after it, and replay only the ultimate that decides it, with the kill feed visible.
Rankings with one reason per pick
For hero tier lists or rework reviews, each hero gets the same card and one line on why it sits where it does, the way I built a worst-to-best list of every kit in Roblox BedWars for BaconsOwnTheUniverse.
Closest real examples of my gaming work
These are long-form videos I edited, picked because their format is the closest to an Overwatch video. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.
None of these is Overwatch. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ
Have you edited Overwatch videos before?
No, I haven’t edited Overwatch videos for a client yet. My long-form gaming work is Roblox (Rex & Alexa, Mud), Minecraft (Puff, Swaylemc’s full movies), horror games and Madden tournaments, all listed on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own Overwatch footage is how you judge my Overwatch edit before paying anything.
Can you edit my Overwatch videos?
Yes. Send a few minutes of raw Overwatch footage and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.
Can you edit Overwatch 2 videos?
Yes. Blizzard dropped the “2” from the name in February 2026 (announced on February 4, as Shacknews reported), so this page covers your Overwatch 2 videos too. The free 1-minute test edit on your own footage shows you my cut before you pay.
Do you edit Overwatch montages?
Not as my main work. Short montages are a different job. I edit long-form YouTube videos; for Overwatch that would be breakdowns, guides, spectating videos and challenges, and I can cut Shorts from them on request.
Can you edit long Overwatch videos, two hours or more?
Yes. Videos over 35 minutes get a custom quote. The longest videos on my YT Jobs profile are Swaylemc’s full movies, which run up to almost four hours.
How much does an Overwatch YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
