PEAK YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. I haven’t edited PEAK videos for a client yet. I edit long-form gaming for 1.26M–2.29M-subscriber channels (Mud, Puff, Rex & Alexa) and can edit yours: $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. Closest work: Rex & Alexa’s Chained Together video. Start with a free 1-minute test edit.
Free 1-minute test edit · From $55 per video · No contract · Revisions back within 24 h
9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Climbs with a group of friends, challenges (blindfolded, without climbing, solo on the hardest ascent, every badge in one run), modded runs (natural disasters, apocalypse), the final update and its ending, funny moments and top clips
- Editing style
- What I would do for PEAK: an altitude and biome card, every fall shown in full with the scream, the campfires as chapter breaks and the summit as the climax, with the video ending soon after. Close to the Chained Together video I cut for Rex & Alexa
- Video length
- PEAK videos on big channels run 20 minutes to about an hour (JAYBAYBAY’s 9 to 46 minutes, Mithzan’s modded runs 50 to 55 minutes, Boyfriends’ final update video 1 hour 5, measured on Oct 18, 2026), so most land in the $300 package. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Closest proof
- I haven’t edited PEAK for a client yet. Closest long-form work: “ROBLOX CHAINED TOGETHER FOR 21 DAYS WITH ALEXA!” on Rex & Alexa (2.29M subscribers), 229.2K views; “SLEDDING RACE WITH ALEXA! (AVALANCHE)” on Rex & Alexa (2.29M subscribers), 28.2K views
My experience and PEAK, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1,250+ videos and 147M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. I edit for Mud (1.26M subscribers), Puff (1.83M) and Rex & Alexa (2.29M); for Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Not proven yet: PEAK itself: every biome, item and badge by name, and the solo speed routes. My co-op work so far is Roblox climbing and party games, How to Fish and Minecraft with friends.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own PEAK footage, before you pay anything.
What big PEAK channels upload in 2026
Measured on October 18, 2026, from the most recent videos of JAYBAYBAY, Mithzan and Boyfriends, two months after The Final Ascent update. JAYBAYBAY’s PEAK videos run from 9 to 46 minutes, Mithzan’s modded runs 50 to 55 minutes, Boyfriends’ final update video 1 hour 5. The formats that keep coming back:
- Challenges with one rule: “Can you PEAK Blindfolded??”, climbing without climbing, every new badge in one run.
- Solo runs of the hardest ascent: “How I solo’d PEAKs Final Hardest Ascent”.
- Modded climbs with friends: more natural disasters, an apocalypse mod.
- The final update and its ending, played with the group that started the series.
The same groups jump between PEAK, Big Walk, Meccha Chameleon and How to Fish, so one editing style has to carry across all of them.
How I would edit your PEAK videos
No PEAK client has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan for your video. Each point comes from work I already do: Rex & Alexa’s Chained Together video, Luxvied’s How to Fish trips and Swaylemc’s full movies.
Height on screen
A PEAK video is a race up. I would keep a small card with the biome and how far up the group is, in the same place every time, so viewers feel the progress and the cost of every fall.
Every fall, in full
The fall is the joke and the drama at once. I would show it in full from the eyes of the player falling, then cut to the friends who watched it, and hold the screaming and the laughing after it.
Stamina you can read
Half the tension is the stamina bar running out on a wall. I would make sure the bar is readable when it matters, zoom in on it for the last second of a grab and add a small sound when it runs out.
Campfires as chapters
Each campfire is a natural break: who made it, what food is left, who is hurt. I would use them as chapter breaks with a quick recap, the way the day breaks work in Rex & Alexa’s Chained Together video.
The summit, then end
The summit or the last fall is the climax. I would build to it with music, hold the moment and end the video soon after, without a long ending.
Every climber’s view
With four climbers I would line up each recording by its audio and cut to whoever is about to fall or about to save someone. The rope and the helping hand are the best moments, and they are often on someone else’s screen.
Closest real examples of my gaming work
Five long-form videos I edited, chosen because their format sits closest to a PEAK video: a video chained to a partner, a sledding race with an avalanche, a How to Fish trip, a co-op horror session and a full movie about a mountain. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.
None of these is PEAK. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.
- ROBLOX CHAINED TOGETHER FOR 21 DAYS WITH ALEXA! · Rex & Alexa (2.29M subscribers) · 229,214 views · 15 min · Nov 13, 2025
Why it's close: Two players chained together for days, so one mistake drags both down: the closest format I’ve edited to a PEAK climb. - SLEDDING RACE WITH ALEXA! (AVALANCHE) · Rex & Alexa (2.29M subscribers) · 28,221 views · 28 min · Sep 3, 2026
Why it's close: A sledding race with an avalanche: falls, near misses and the finish. - We Played How to Fish Again… Huge Mistake · Luxvied (8.06K subscribers) · 625 views · 11 min · Oct 2, 2026
Why it's close: A How to Fish session with friends: group chaos and several voices to follow. - When 5 Idiots Play Nuclear Nightmare · PlayBoiKobe (324K subscribers) · 14,738 views · 16 min · Dec 24, 2024
Why it's close: Five friends in a co-op survival horror game, where the group has to make it out together. - That Wasn't A Mountain.. (FULL MOVIE) · Swaylemc (205K subscribers) · 203,208 views · 213 min · Aug 18, 2026
Why it's close: A full movie about a mountain that is not what it seems, built to keep viewers to the end.

FAQ
Have you edited PEAK videos before?
No, I haven’t edited PEAK videos for a client yet. The closest work I’ve done is Rex & Alexa’s Roblox Chained Together video, Luxvied’s How to Fish trips and Swaylemc’s full movies. All of it is on my YT Jobs profile. To see my cut on your own footage before you pay, ask for the free 1-minute test edit.
Can you edit my PEAK videos?
Yes. Send a few minutes of raw footage from one climb, with each player’s recording if you have them, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours.
Can you edit a blindfolded or one-rule challenge?
Yes. I would show the rule in the first seconds and keep it visible when it matters, so viewers believe the challenge, like the restriction videos I edit for goatt and Crazz.
Do you edit the other co-op games my group plays?
Yes: How to Fish, Big Walk, Lethal Company or the next one. I already edit How to Fish trips for Luxvied.
How much does a PEAK YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
