9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Hide and seek with one twist (shrink, fly, paint yourself to blend in), Hide or Die and other elimination versions, hide and seek with fans or friends, cheat and troll videos (secret rooms, glitches, hiding inside items), hide and seek inside another game: Rivals, Murder Mystery 2, Brookhaven, Dress To Impress, Steal an Egg
- Editing style
- Hide and seek pacing: the twist on screen first, every spot shown before the seeker gets close, the find cut on the frame, the reaction kept whole. The rhythm of my hide and seek rounds for Rex & Alexa and Dr laba
- Video length
- Most Roblox hide and seek videos run 14 to 21 minutes: a YouTube search for “roblox hide and seek” filtered to this month, on Oct 13, 2026, gave six videos of 14 to 40 minutes (median 18), and my hide and seek videos for Rex & Alexa and Dr laba run 11 to 21, so most land in the $150 package (up to 20 minutes) and longer ones in the $300 one. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me

That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. My experience and Roblox Hide and Seek, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 8 videos I edited with hide and seek, Hide or Die or Paint or Seek in the title, for Rex & Alexa and Dr laba.
- Not proven yet: Hide and seek inside Rivals, Murder Mystery 2, Brookhaven or Steal an Egg, and the cheat-and-troll version (secret rooms, glitches, invisibility). My hide and seek work so far is Rex & Alexa’s twist games and Dr laba’s Dress To Impress episodes.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own Roblox Hide and Seek footage, before you pay anything.
Why me
- I edit for Rex & Alexa, a Roblox duo channel: 126 videos since July 2025, with hide and seek, Hide or Die and Paint or Seek among them.
- For Dr laba (527K subscribers) I edited two Extreme hide and seek episodes in Dress To Impress: one with fans, one played with a friend and built up to who won.
What Roblox hide and seek channels upload in October 2026
Hide and seek is not one Roblox game: it is a format that big channels play inside the game they already cover. I measured it on October 13, 2026, with a YouTube search for “roblox hide and seek” filtered to this month and the recent uploads of Techys, jetski and JD. The formats that keep coming back:
- Rivals hide and seek with a trick: Techys hid inside items to troll friends (10 minutes) and jetski built secret rooms to cheat (15 minutes).
- Murder Mystery 2 hide and seek: JD uploaded a super tiny version and one with friends, both about 20 minutes long.
- Cheating as the hook: glitches in Brookhaven hide and seek, and a 40-minute hide and seek between YouTubers where one player secretly cheats.
- Big lobbies, such as a 50-player hide and seek in ERLC.
The six videos from that search ran 14 to 40 minutes, with a median of 18. On these channels hide and seek is one episode among many: Techys’s 12 most recent long videos ran 10 to 21 minutes, and JD’s 12 to 27. The hide and seek videos I’ve edited for Rex & Alexa use another hook: one twist per video, such as shrinking, flying or painting yourself to blend in.
How I edit Roblox hide and seek videos
The hide and seek videos I’ve edited for Rex & Alexa and Dr laba follow the same basics: the spot shown first, the find cut on the frame, the reaction kept whole. Where a version is new to me, such as Rivals or MM2 hide and seek, I say how I would do it.
The twist and the round on screen first
Every hide and seek game has one twist: you shrink, you fly, you paint yourself, or getting found means you are out. The twist and the goal go on screen in the first 30 seconds, before the countdown ends. If the game itself doesn’t show who is still hidden, I’d add a counter in the same corner in every episode.
Show the spot, then the search
The viewer should know where everyone is hiding before the seeker does: a clear shot of each spot, then the search. The tension is the seeker walking past. I cut on the frame a player gets found and keep the reaction whole, as in Rex & Alexa’s rounds and Dr laba’s Dress To Impress episodes.
Countdowns cut, near misses kept
The countdown, the walk to a spot and searches through empty rooms get cut hard. A near miss plays at real speed: the seeker one step away, the game sound under it. When a hider talks in a whisper, the voice comes up so it stays audible.
Hide or Die: every catch is a beat
In elimination versions each catch gets the same treatment: the find, the reaction, the counter going down by one. The first catches can be quick; the last two hiders play close to real time, because that is the ending the video was built for, and the video ends soon after the last one is found.
Paint, shrink and fly: the twist is the joke
In Paint or Seek the joke is how well a painted player blends into the wall, so the wide shot stays on long enough for the viewer to spot them first, then the seeker walks right past. Shrink and fly rounds work the same way with size and height: the spot has to read on a phone screen, which sometimes means a zoom on the hider.
Two screens: the hider and the seeker
If you and your friends record separately, I would cut between the hider’s screen and the seeker’s at the moments that matter: the seeker walking into the room, the hider holding still. When fans join, as in Dr laba’s first episode, the best spots and the last hiders would get the time and the rest a quick montage.
Cheat and troll videos: the setup, then the payoff
Secret rooms, glitches, invisibility and hiding inside items are the hook of many hide and seek videos this month. I haven’t edited that version yet. I would keep the setup short, show the trick working once so the viewer is in on it, let the seekers walk past while your commentary carries the joke, and end on the reveal.

FAQ
Have you edited Roblox Hide and Seek videos before?
Yes. I’ve edited Roblox hide and seek videos for Rex & Alexa (2.29M subscribers) and Dr laba (527K): Shrink, Fly, Mega and Paint or Seek rounds, two Hide or Die episodes and two Extreme hide and seek episodes in Dress To Impress, all on my YT Jobs profile. I haven’t edited hide and seek inside Rivals, Murder Mystery 2 or Brookhaven for a client yet; the free 1-minute test edit on your own footage shows you how I would cut it.
Can you edit my Roblox Hide and Seek videos?
Yes. Send a few minutes of raw hide and seek footage, from Rivals, MM2, Brookhaven or any other game, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.
Do you edit Rivals hide and seek videos?
Not yet. I edit Roblox Rivals News for Mud, about three videos a week, so the game’s updates and skins are familiar, but a Rivals hide and seek is new to me. It would get the cut of my Rex & Alexa rounds: the spot shown first, the find on the frame, the reaction kept. More on my Roblox Rivals editor page.
Do you edit Murder Mystery 2 and Brookhaven hide and seek?
Not hide and seek in those games yet. I’ve edited Murder Mystery 2 videos for ThatNoob and Brookhaven videos for BloxWorld TV and Todd; the hide and seek cut would be the one I use for Rex & Alexa. More on my Murder Mystery 2 editor page.
How long should a hide and seek video be?
Most of this month’s Roblox hide and seek videos I measured run 14 to 21 minutes, and my hide and seek videos for Rex & Alexa and Dr laba run 11 to 21. One round with a clear winner fills that; a hide and seek between many YouTubers can run 40 minutes and gets a custom quote.
How much does a Roblox Hide and Seek YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
