Science experiment YouTube video editor for hire

I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor: you send your raw footage, I cut it and add music, text and Shorts. My closest work is Scarlett Mae’s Japan vlog and Erin Marie’s lessons to camera; I haven’t edited science experiment videos for a client yet, so start with a free 1-minute test. $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits.

Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
Experiments at home and in the lab, what-happens-if tests, slow motion tests, kitchen science, builds that fail and then work, science for kids, myth tests
Editing style
What I would do for experiments: the question first, the setup clear, the moment of the result slowed down and repeated, your measurements on screen, and the explanation right after the result
Video length
I edit from 8-minute videos to feature-length. Up to 20 minutes is the $150 package and up to 35 minutes the $300 one; longer videos get a custom quote. Scarlett Mae’s Japan vlog runs 17 minutes and Alli Ingram’s episodes 7 to 17; Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
All your clips and audio from the shoot; I build the story.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)

My experience with science experiment videos, plainly

How I would edit your experiment videos

I haven’t edited an experiment channel yet, so this is my plan for your footage.

The question first

What is being tested and what you think will happen: said and written in the first seconds, so the viewer waits for the answer.

The result, slowed down and repeated

The result plays at full speed first, then slowed down, from a second angle if you filmed one.

Numbers you measured

Temperatures, times and weights from your notes appear on screen as you measure them.

Failures that count

A failed attempt, kept short and explained, makes the success believable.

Explain after the wow

The explanation comes right after the result, with a simple diagram if it helps.

Closest real examples of my work

Three videos I edited from recorded footage: a challenge vlog, an episode of a scripted series and a lesson to camera. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

These are not science experiment videos, but they are the closest recorded work I’ve edited. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026, or from my YT Jobs profile for the newest videos; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited science experiment videos before?

No, I haven’t edited science experiment videos for a client yet. My closest work with recorded footage: Scarlett Mae’s 24-hour challenge vlog filmed in Japan and Alli Ingram’s First Kiss Summer series, both edited by me, and lessons to camera that I edit for English by Erin Marie, all on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own footage is how you judge my cut before paying anything.

Can you edit my science experiment videos?

Yes. Send the raw footage of one video (all the clips, plus the separate audio if you recorded it) and one video whose style you like, and I edit one minute for free. I cut Shorts from the long video too if you want them.

Can you edit high-speed camera footage?

Yes. Send the original files; I keep their frame rate for the slow motion instead of stretching normal footage.

Do you make the diagrams?

Yes, simple 2D diagrams and labels built from your explanation.

How much does a YouTube editor for science experiment videos cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your footage

Send me your channel link and one raw recording through the contact form. I’ll edit one minute of it for free and reply with an exact quote.
