SCP YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. I edit long-form gaming for 1.26M–2.29M-subscriber channels (Mud, Puff, Rex & Alexa) and can edit yours: $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. My closest work is The Spy Show’s narrated documentaries; I haven’t edited SCP videos for a client yet, so start with a free 1-minute test.

9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- One SCP explained in 13 to 25 minutes, long compilations by theme (the scariest, the strangest), multi-part tales and series, rankings, SCP gameplay in Roblox, Garry’s Mod and SCP games, animation-led lore
- Editing style
- What I would do for SCP: the edit built on your narration, the document’s containment class and item number on screen in one style, slow pushes on illustrations and redacted text revealed as you read it, and a sound design that stays quiet until the anomaly shows. Close to my documentary work for The Spy Show
- Video length
- SCP channels upload two lengths: single SCPs of about 13 to 25 minutes, and compilations or full tales from 1 hour 40 to almost 3 hours (The Exploring Series, SCP Explained and Dr Bob, measured on Oct 18, 2026), so singles land in the $150 or $300 package and compilations get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,277 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Closest proof
- I haven’t edited SCP for a client yet. Closest long-form work: “Eli Cohen: Mossad’s Greatest Spy | True Life Spy Stories” on THE SPY SHOW (832 subscribers), 90 views; “Imad Mughniyeh: how CIA & Mossad hunted a Hezbollah leader | Real Life Spy Stories” on THE SPY SHOW (832 subscribers), 99 views
My experience and SCP, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1,277+ videos and 152M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. I edit for Mud (1.26M subscribers), Puff (1.83M) and Rex & Alexa (2.29M); for Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Not proven yet: The SCP Foundation itself: the wiki, its canons and tales and the community’s attribution rules (SCP content is under a Creative Commons licence that asks for credit). My narrated work so far is spy documentaries; my horror work is Minecraft.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own SCP footage, before you pay anything.
Why me
- Documentary episodes for The Spy Show built from script and voiceover, the same workflow as a narrated SCP file.
- Long horror movies for Swaylemc and horror mod videos for Puff, the tension an SCP video needs.
What big SCP channels upload in 2026
Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent long videos of The Exploring Series, SCP Explained and Dr Bob. All three are narrated: a voice reads and explains the SCP file over illustrations, animation or footage. They upload in two lengths: single SCPs of about 13 to 25 minutes, and compilations or multi-part tales from 1 hour 40 to almost 3 hours. The formats that keep coming back:
- One SCP explained: “SCP-012 The Composition That Will Lead to Your Death”, “SCP-3333 The Tower”.
- Long themed compilations: “Don’t Open the Door to these SCP Secrets”.
- Multi-part tales: “Exploring the SCP Foundation: The Hecatoncheires Cycle - Part One”.
- Rankings: “Ranking Iconic SCP Monsters by How Likely You Are to Survive”.
- Next to the lore, SCP gameplay in Roblox and Garry’s Mod from smaller channels.
How I would edit your SCP videos
No SCP channel has sent me a script yet, so read this as my plan. Each point comes from work I already do: The Spy Show’s documentary episodes from script and voiceover, The Interpreter’s narrated aviation documentary and Swaylemc’s horror movies.
Your narration is the spine
An SCP video is a read file. I would build the edit on your voiceover: every line gets the image that shows it, long descriptions get slow camera moves on the illustration, and a pause is left after the lines that land. It is how I edit The Spy Show from script and voiceover.
The file, styled once
Item number, object class and containment procedures appear in every video. I would design one document style (number, class, a stamp for redacted parts) and reuse it in every upload, so your channel is recognisable in one frame.
Redactions revealed as you read
The black bars are part of the fun. I would show the redacted text as it is on the page and reveal or strike through words in time with your narration, so the document feels alive and not like a scrolled screenshot.
Quiet until the anomaly shows
Horror in SCP comes from the calm, clinical tone. I would keep a low drone under the procedures, drop to near silence before the incident log and let the sound hit when the anomaly acts, the way a scare lands in Swaylemc’s horror movies.
Compilations with chapters
A two or three hour compilation needs a map. I would give each SCP its own title card and chapter, keep the loudness level from the first file to the last and add a short bridge between entries, so it works as background viewing and as a binge.
SCP gameplay cut like horror
For SCP gameplay in Roblox or Garry’s Mod I would cut like the horror videos I edit for Puff: a beat of quiet before the scare, the cut on the first frame the SCP is visible and the reaction held.
Closest real examples of my gaming work
Four long-form videos I edited or my studio delivered, chosen because their format sits closest to an SCP video: two documentary episodes for The Spy Show, The Interpreter’s narrated aviation documentary and a Backrooms horror video for Puff. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.
None of these is SCP. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ
Have you edited SCP videos before?
No, I haven’t edited SCP videos for a client yet. I edit narrated documentaries for The Spy Show from script and voiceover, horror movies for Swaylemc and horror videos for Puff, all on my YT Jobs profile. To see my cut on your own SCP footage before you pay, ask for the free 1-minute test edit.
Can you edit my SCP videos?
Yes. Send your script and voiceover for one SCP (or a few minutes of SCP gameplay) and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.
Do you work from my script and voiceover?
Yes, that is how I would edit an SCP channel: send the script, the voiceover and any illustrations or animation you have. I find or build the visuals for each line and send the video for review.
Can you edit two or three hour SCP compilations?
Yes, they get a custom quote. I would give each SCP its own chapter and title card and keep the sound level even from start to finish.
Can you add the credits the SCP licence asks for?
Yes. SCP content is shared under a Creative Commons licence that asks for attribution; I would add the article, author and link to an end card and give you the text for the description. Checking what each article needs is your call.
How much does a SCP YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
Send me your SCP footage
Send me your channel link and one raw recording through the contact form. I’ll edit one minute of it for free and reply with an exact quote.
