Search Fiverr or Upwork for a gaming editor and you get thousands of gigs sorted by the marketplace's own signals. This page puts the gaming editors creators come across most into one table, with the same public facts for each one (starting price, rating, number of reviews and what their own page says they do), and then sorts them by need: smallest budget, longest review record, funny moments, long-form, stream VODs, gaming documentaries and the long term.

Everything here was read on the editors' public pages on October 13, 2026, and every row links to its source, so you can check any number in one click. Prices, ratings and review counts change; the date on each row tells you how fresh it is.

From is the lowest-priced package or rate the editor’s own page shows, in USD as the page lists it. What it buys differs (one Short, a few edited minutes, an hour of work), so compare what the package includes, not only the price. Fiverr ratings are for that gig, out of 5; YT Jobs ratings are out of 10 and are left by channel owners; “—” means the page doesn’t show it.

Picks by need

Smallest budget with a review record: saad bin Atta

saad bin Atta's gig starts at $5, the lowest starting price in the table among gigs with at least 10 reviews, with 4.9/5 from 182 reviews. Longest review record: Ughtea

Ughtea's Roblox and gaming gig has 1,656 reviews at 4.9/5, the most in the table, from $35. Every package is a motion-graphics intro plus the edit; the packages differ only by length.

How to choose a gaming editor from this list

  1. Shortlist two editors by need, then compare ratings. The same rating means more on a long review record, and neither tells you whether the editor has cut your format.
  2. Run the same paid test with both. Send each the same raw recording, pay their normal price for one finished video, and compare the first 30 seconds and one random minute on your phone.
  3. Ask what they did on the videos they show. The whole edit, or the intro, thumbnail or Shorts? Some portfolios label it; if not, ask for one full video in your format.
  4. Check the record somewhere the editor doesn’t control. Reviews on Fiverr, Upwork or YT Jobs come from the client’s own account; a client list on a personal site is worth matching against the channel’s uploads. The full checklist: How to check a YouTube editor’s portfolio is real.
  5. Agree on the basics before the first video: turnaround, revisions, who keeps the project files and how you pay. Where to hire a YouTube editor compares how YT Jobs, Fiverr, Upwork and hiring directly handle that.

For gaming specifically, send a recording that includes the boring parts (loading, menus, a death and a respawn), not only the highlight. How an editor handles dead time is the clearest sign of whether they know your game.

FAQ

Who is the best gaming YouTube editor for hire in 2026?

There isn't one best editor for every gaming channel. On October 13, 2026, saad bin Atta had the lowest starting price among gigs with at least 10 reviews ($5), Ughtea had the most reviews (1,656), Saad R. and Guoba A focused on funny moments, PB on stream VODs and shooters, and Voltz Editor on gaming documentaries. My own record is weekly long-form for Roblox and Minecraft channels. Pick by budget and format, then run a paid test.

How much does a gaming YouTube editor cost?

Starting prices in this table run from $5 a gig (saad bin Atta) and $5 an hour (Matias C.) to $80 (Jomo), counting the pages that publish one. What a package buys varies a lot: saad bin Atta's $5 is 2 finished minutes, Aryan K's $160 is up to 30. My own rate is $55 for up to 10 finished minutes, $150 for up to 20 and $300 for up to 35.

Should I hire a gaming editor on Fiverr, Upwork, YT Jobs or directly?

Each gives you different evidence. Fiverr shows a rating for each gig and runs the order through its own checkout. Upwork shows an hourly rate, reviews and completed jobs. YT Jobs lists the videos an editor worked on and lets channel owners review them. A personal website gives you the editor's own client list and a direct line. Every row in the table says where its data came from; Where to hire a YouTube editor compares the routes in detail.

How do I check that a gaming editor really edited the videos they show?

Open the video on the channel itself and compare the upload date; ask which part they edited (full video, intro, thumbnail or Shorts); give more weight to reviews left from the client's own account on Fiverr, Upwork or YT Jobs; and run a paid test on your own footage. Step by step: How to check a YouTube editor's portfolio is real.

Why is the author of this list on it?

I'm Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor, and gaming is most of my work, so leaving myself off would hide a real option. To keep it fair I use the same fields as everyone else, keep the table alphabetical, and appear in the picks only where my public record supports it: weekly long-form for the same gaming channel over months. My record is on YT Jobs, where each channel can confirm or reject the videos listed.
