Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
Friend-group lobbies with proximity chat and modded roles, impostor rounds, streamed game nights cut into one video, numbered funny-moment episodes and big compilations, role guides (Impostor, Judge, Shapeshifter)
Editing style
What I would do for Among Us: every color named on screen, the impostor’s secret shared with the viewer when it is yours, meetings kept whole and subtitled, tasks and ghost time cut. Closest to the Murder Mystery 2 server stories for ThatNoob and Puff’s group videos of up to six players
Video length
Among Us videos vary a lot: the six channels measured on Oct 13, 2026 had 33 Among Us videos with a median of 20 minutes, from 9-minute episodes to group lobbies of 56 and 69 minutes. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
Track record
Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

My experience and Among Us, plainly

Why me

What Among Us channels upload in 2026

Measured on October 13, 2026, from the 12 most recent videos (Shorts and streams aside) of six channels that play Among Us: MoreSidemen, NDL (Beta Squad), H2ODelirious, Alpharad LIVE, Elegance and Tajh4k. The game is having a comeback this year, with new roles such as the Judge and the Influencer; H2ODelirious titled his “AMONG US IS BACK!!!”. Those channels had 33 Among Us videos with a median of 20 minutes, in very different shapes:

How I would edit your Among Us videos

I haven’t cut Among Us for a client, so read this as my plan: each point comes from the group videos and Murder Mystery 2 rounds on my profile.

Every color gets a name

In a ten-player lobby the viewer only sees colors. I would open with a cast card (who is Red, who is Lime) and put each player’s name next to their crewmate the first times they speak, again in every meeting and on the ejection screen. It is the problem of telling six players apart in Puff’s “6 Idiots Escape The Backrooms”, with more people.

Decide who knows the secret

If you are the impostor, the viewer would learn it in the first seconds of the round, with your role screen held a beat longer, so every lie in the next meeting plays as a joke they are in on. If you are a crewmate, the viewer knows no more than you until the ejection screen.

The meeting is the payoff

Emergency meetings are where an Among Us video is won: several people talking at once, an accusation, an alibi that falls apart. I would keep them close to whole, subtitle the crosstalk so you can follow who accuses whom, and hold the vote screen until the result lands. The kill and the body report are the setup; the meeting is the punchline.

The kill from the view that tells it best

If other players share their recordings, I would cut to the impostor’s view for the kill and back to yours for the reaction. With only your recording, a short zoom on the body when someone finds it keeps anyone from missing what just happened.

Tasks, lobby and ghost time out; only rounds with an ending stay

Walking to tasks, waiting in the lobby, settings screens and long stretches as a ghost would go, unless the ghost commentary is funny. From a long night I would keep the rounds that end somewhere (a clean impostor win, a wrong ejection, a role that backfires), with a round counter in the same corner every time so the viewer knows how many are left.

A new role explained once

Sheriff, Judge, Influencer or a mod nobody has seen: the first time a role matters, a small card would give its name and its power in one line, and it would not come back. New viewers follow; regulars are not slowed down.

Proximity chat, leveled

With proximity chat, voices fade in and out as players walk. I would level them so the impostor’s whisper next to a body is audible, keep the kill sound and the meeting alarm as punctuation, and put memes and sound effects after the reveal, not over the argument.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

These are videos I edited, picked because they share what Among Us is built on: a hidden role, a lie the viewer is let in on, a group of voices. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is Among Us. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited Among Us videos before?

No, I haven’t edited Among Us videos for a client yet. The closest work on my YT Jobs profile is Murder Mystery 2 server stories for ThatNoob, friend-group videos for Puff and a guess-the-real-one video for Skeppy. The free 1-minute test edit on your own Among Us footage is how you judge my cut before paying anything.

Can you edit my Among Us videos?

Yes. Send me a few minutes of a real lobby, with at least one emergency meeting in it, and I edit one minute for free so you can judge how I handle the arguing before you pay. Long-form is my core, from 10-minute episodes to sessions of several hours, with Shorts cut from them on request.

Can you edit proximity chat lobbies with a lot of players?

Yes. Send your recording, and the other players’ recordings if they share them: I would name every color, subtitle the meetings and pick the right view for each kill. Group videos of four to six players are already on my profile, such as Puff’s “6 Idiots Escape The Backrooms”.

Can you turn a long Among Us stream into a YouTube video?

Yes. Send the full recording and the length you want, and I would keep the rounds with an ending, a cast card and a round counter. Videos over 35 minutes get a custom quote. Big streamers turn one game night into several cuts: Ibai streamed his night with guest footballers for almost four hours and the next day uploaded a 27-minute video with the same guests.

Do you make Among Us animations?

No. I edit recorded gameplay with your voice; I don’t animate. Animated Among Us series need an animator.

How much does an Among Us YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your Among Us footage

Send me your channel link and one raw recording through the contact form. I’ll edit one minute of it for free and reply with an exact quote.
