Video types
Can-you-beat-it-using-only challenges, kill-every-boss runs, build guides and build rankings, hardest Honour fights, secrets and rare items by act, first playthroughs and Honour Mode series, mods of the week
Editing style
What I would do for Baldur’s Gate 3: the waiting between turns cut out, the plan said in one line and then the action, the dice roll held as the suspense, a build card readable on screen, one tier board reused for every ranking. Close to BaconsOwnTheUniverse’s ranked list and Crazz’s class challenges
Video length
Baldur’s Gate 3 videos vary: Proxy Gate Tactician’s challenges run 20 to 47 minutes, Toyhouze’s guides 6 minutes to an hour (median about 17), and Frostbreak’s playthrough videos 16 minutes to almost 2 and a half hours (median about 44), measured on Oct 18, 2026. Guides land in the $150 package; challenges in the $300 package; long playthroughs get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.

That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.

From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)

My experience and Baldur’s Gate 3, plainly

What big Baldur’s Gate 3 channels upload in October 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent long videos on three channels: Proxy Gate Tactician, Toyhouze and Frostbreak. Three formats lead.

All three channels also cover other RPGs (Divinity: Original Sin 2, Kingdom Come, Oblivion), so the formats travel between games.

How I would edit your Baldur’s Gate 3 videos

No Baldur’s Gate 3 creator has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan. It is built on BaconsOwnTheUniverse’s BedWars kit ranking, Crazz’s class challenges in 99 Nights and DakBlox’s become-the-best videos.

Turn-based fights without the waiting

A fight in Baldur’s Gate 3 is mostly waiting for turns. I would cut every enemy turn that changes nothing, keep your one-line plan before each of your turns, and play the action itself at full speed, so a ten-minute fight reads as a few clear moves.

The dice roll as the suspense

The roll is the cliffhanger. I would hold on the dice and the percentage for a beat, drop the music before it lands and keep your reaction after it whole, whether it is the crit that ends the boss or the miss that ruins the plan.

A build card you can read

For a build guide, a card with the class, subclass, level split and key items, in the same style in every video, would stay on screen long enough to pause on, and each piece is shown in a fight right after it is named.

One tier board for every ranking

For a ranking of builds or fights, a tier board designed once and reused, with each entry shown in play before it is placed, keeps a long list easy to follow. It is how I cut a list of every kit ranked from worst to best.

The rule on screen and a boss counter

For a can-you-beat-it-using-only run, the rule goes on screen in the first 30 seconds, the first failed attempt plays in full and the rest are compressed, and a small counter of bosses beaten tracks the run to the final fight.

Cutscenes and companions, trimmed but kept

Companion reactions are part of the fun. I would keep the line that lands, subtitle it if the mix is busy, trim long cutscenes to what the story needs, and put a spoiler note and chapters by act on long playthroughs.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Long-form videos I edited, chosen because their format is closest to a Baldur’s Gate 3 video: a ranked list of every kit for BaconsOwnTheUniverse, Crazz’s class challenges and DakBlox training to become the best. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is Baldur’s Gate 3. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited Baldur’s Gate 3 videos before?

No, I haven’t edited Baldur’s Gate 3 videos for a client yet. My long-form gaming work is Roblox (Rex & Alexa, Mud), Minecraft (Puff, Swaylemc’s full movies), horror games and Madden tournaments, all listed on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own Baldur’s Gate 3 footage is how you judge my Baldur’s Gate 3 edit before paying anything.

Can you edit my Baldur’s Gate 3 videos?

Yes. Send the raw recording of one fight or one session, plus your plan or build, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.

Can you make a long turn-based fight watchable?

Yes, that is most of the work: cut the turns that change nothing, keep your plan and the action, hold the roll that decides it. Send the full fight and I will show you in the free test minute.

Do you make the build cards and tier boards?

Yes. I design them once in your channel style and reuse them, so every video looks like the same series and each one is faster to edit.

Can you edit a first playthrough series?

Yes. I would keep the same intro and titles from episode to episode, open each one with a short recap, and use YouTube chapters by area or act. Videos over 35 minutes get a custom quote.

How much does a Baldur’s Gate 3 YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
