Video types
Skyrim but challenges, slowly-become and strongest-build runs, can-you-beat-Skyrim-with-only runs, roleplay lives (a hermit, a noble), permadeath runs, modded playthroughs and mod showcases, cursed saves sent by friends, Oblivion and other Elder Scrolls games
Editing style
What I would do for Skyrim: the rule stated in the first seconds and brought back every time it bites, a stage card for each step of a transformation, travel folded into a few seconds, NPC lines that are funny subtitled and kept, every mod named on screen. Close to Crazz’s 99 Nights But challenges and Puff’s modded Minecraft
Video length
Skyrim challenge videos run long: JustMeegz’s 12 latest run 47 to 70 minutes (median about 55), Joov’s 41 minutes to almost 2 hours and ItsJdane’s up to 2 hours 14 (median about 61 for both), measured on Oct 18, 2026. Most get a custom quote; shorter ones land in the $300 package. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
Track record
Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

My experience and Skyrim, plainly

What big Skyrim channels upload in October 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent long videos on three channels: JustMeegz, ItsJdane and Joov. Skyrim sits at the long end of gaming YouTube: JustMeegz never goes under 46 minutes, and Joov and ItsJdane often pass an hour and a half.

Two of the three channels also play Oblivion, Fallout 4 or New Vegas, so the same format moves across Bethesda games.

How I would edit your Skyrim videos

No Skyrim creator has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan. It is built on Crazz’s 99 Nights But challenges, which reach over an hour, Puff’s modded Minecraft runs and DakBlox’s train-to-become-the-best videos.

The rule on screen, and back every time it bites

A Skyrim challenge is one rule: only scrolls, only inheritance money, three random skills. I would state it in the first 30 seconds and bring the same small rule card back every time it forces a choice, so a viewer who joins at minute 40 still knows why you can’t just pick up that sword.

A stage card for every step of a transformation

For a slowly-become run, a card like “Stage 3 of 5” at each step, with the build or the gear held on screen long enough to read, would show the progress. The same card style in every video makes the series recognisable.

Travel folded, the walk that matters kept

Skyrim has a lot of walking. I would fold the travel into a few seconds or a map move and keep only the walks where something happens or your commentary connects two moments, so an hour feels like one adventure and not a list of quests.

NPC lines as part of the joke

Guards, merchants and companions often deliver the punchline. I would subtitle the NPC line when it lands, hold your reaction after it, and keep a meme sound only for the moments that earn it.

The first death in full

In a permadeath or hardcore run, the death that ends a life is the moment of the video. I would show the first close call in full so the danger is clear, compress the safe stretches, and give the final death room before the end card.

Mods named on screen

For modded runs and mod showcases, each mod would get a small lower third with its name the first time it appears, matching the list in your description, so viewers can find it and modders get the credit.

Roleplay lives at a slower pace

A hermit or a noble life is a calmer video. I would let the scenery breathe, keep the ambient sound of the world, and use YouTube chapters for each part of the life, the way long uploads stay easy to follow in Swaylemc’s full movies.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Long-form videos I edited, chosen because their format is closest to a Skyrim challenge: Crazz’s 99 Nights But videos (one of 74 minutes), Puff’s rule-based Minecraft, DakBlox training to become the best and a modded Minecraft video for Boffy. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is Skyrim. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited Skyrim videos before?

No, I haven’t edited Skyrim videos for a client yet. My long-form gaming work is Roblox (Rex & Alexa, Mud), Minecraft (Puff, Swaylemc’s full movies), horror games and Madden tournaments, all listed on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own Skyrim footage is how you judge my Skyrim edit before paying anything.

Can you edit my Skyrim videos?

Yes. Send the raw recording of one session, plus your rule and your mod list, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.

Can you edit an hour-long Skyrim challenge from many hours of footage?

Yes. A note of the moments that matter (the rule biting, the build coming together, the boss) helps me find them faster. I would keep the story of the rule and fold the travel. Videos over 35 minutes get a custom quote.

Can you do the same for Oblivion, Fallout or other Bethesda games?

Yes, the format is the same. I haven’t edited them for a client yet either, so the free 1-minute test works the same way for an Oblivion, Fallout or Starfield video.

Do you add the stage cards and rule cards?

Yes. I design them once in your channel style and reuse them in every video, so the series is recognisable and each episode is faster to edit.

How much does a Skyrim YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your Skyrim footage

Send me your channel link and one raw recording through the contact form. I’ll edit one minute of it for free and reply with an exact quote.
