Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
Creature and dinosaur mods, boss mods such as the Wither Storm, modpack survival runs and series, mod pranks on friends (without telling them), how-many-mods and mod-stacking challenges, first looks at a new mod, full movies built on one mod
Editing style
The mod first: what it adds on screen early, a name card for each new creature, loading bars and relaunches cut unless the crash is the joke, a fixed counter when mods pile up. The pacing of the creature-mod videos I edit for Puff and the mod full movies I edit for Swaylemc
Video length
Modded Minecraft runs long: Doni Bobes’ 12 latest videos run 25 to 57 minutes and most of Forge Labs’ recent survival runs pass two hours (measured on Oct 13, 2026); half of my mod videos for Puff run 35 to 43 minutes, so most land in the $300 package or get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.

My experience and modded Minecraft, plainly

Why me

What big modded Minecraft channels upload in October 2026

On October 13, 2026 I read the Videos tab of three big modded Minecraft channels, 12 newest long uploads each: Doni Bobes, Forge Labs and Fundy. Mod videos are long: Doni Bobes’ 12 run 25 to 57 minutes (median 46), and 11 of Forge Labs’ 12 run between 2 h 16 min and almost four hours. What they keep making:

YouTube’s search box completes “minecraft modded” with “pack”, “survival series” and “playthrough”, and “minecraft mods” with “horror” and “for survival” (checked on October 13, 2026).

How I edit modded Minecraft videos

Here is how I cut the mod videos I’ve edited for Puff, Swaylemc and Boffy, and how I would cut the mod formats I haven’t edited yet: pranks, modpack series and showcases.

What the mod adds, on screen in the first 30 seconds

A mod video sells one new thing: a creature, a boss, a weapon, a rule. What the title promises shows up early, so the first clear look at that thing lands inside the first 30 seconds, before the setup and the inventory talk. In Puff’s “Minecraft’s NEW Infested Rex Mod is TERRIFYING…” the title promises one creature, so that creature is what the opening has to deliver.

A name card for every new creature

Creature and dinosaur mods add several new mobs at once. I would give each one a short name card the first time it appears, designed once and reused in every episode, so the viewer can tell which one is chasing you even when the chase is fast.

Loading bars, crashes and relaunches

Big mod lists load slowly and crash more than plain Minecraft. Loading screens get covered with B-roll, relaunches come out, and the commentary that links the crash to the next attempt stays, so it still plays as one session. When the crash is the joke it stays in and the reaction is held whole: in a video that asks how many mods the game can take, the moment it gives up is the payoff. That is the question behind Boffy’s “How Many Mods Can Minecraft Handle?”, which I edited.

A counter when mods pile up

For videos that stack mods (nine weather mods, nine infection mods, as many mods as the game survives) I would keep a fixed counter: same corner, same style, updated every time a mod goes in. It would tell the viewer how far in the video is and mark the jumps in time when the hours between two mods are cut.

Mod pranks: the viewer is in on it

In a “without telling my friends” video the viewer knows what the friends don’t. I haven’t edited one yet; I would show the mod going in first, then cut to the friends running into it, and hold the moment they work it out. The reaction timing is the one I use on Puff’s “2 Idiots Survive…” mod videos, where two players react to the same threat.

Modpack runs: progress you can follow

A modpack series lives on progression: new tiers, new machines, new dimensions. I would mark each milestone with the same card, cut crafting menus and sorting down to the result, and open each episode with one line on where the run stands and what is at stake next. The one video in my portfolio with “modpack” in the title is Puff’s “3 idiots Survive Minecraft’s Deadliest Modpack.. Dread”; a long tech or magic pack would be new.

One mod, one full movie

Some mods carry a whole film. I edit Swaylemc’s full movies, and four of them have a mod in the title, such as “Minecraft’s NEW Dinosaur Horror Mod Shouldn’t Exist..”, which runs 222 minutes. At that length the dead time goes, the commentary that links two scenes stays, and each part ends soon after its peak.

Real modded Minecraft videos I edited, plus the closest formats

Mod videos for Boffy, Swaylemc and Puff: a how-many-mods challenge, a dinosaur mod as a full movie, a creature mod, a modpack, a boss and mods in VR. Start with the one that looks most like your channel.

All of these are videos I edited, tracked on my YT Jobs profile. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited modded Minecraft videos before?

Yes. I’ve edited modded Minecraft videos for Puff (1.83M subscribers), Swaylemc (205K) and Boffy (2.12M): creature and dinosaur mods, a modpack run, mods in VR and full movies built on one mod, all on my YT Jobs profile. Most of them are horror or creature mods. I haven’t edited a mod prank, a tech or magic modpack series or a mod showcase for a client yet. Send a few minutes of your own modded footage and the free 1-minute test edit shows my cut before you pay.

Can you edit my modded Minecraft videos?

Yes. Record your session as usual, send me a few minutes of it with the list of mods you ran, and I’ll edit one minute for free. You judge the cut on your own world before paying anything. Lengths go from a 10-minute first look at a mod to mod films of several hours; Shorts on request.

Do you edit Minecraft horror mod videos too?

Yes, and they are most of my mod work: co-op horror mods for Puff and horror full movies for Swaylemc. They have their own page, the Minecraft horror mod editor page, built around dread, jumpscares and sound. This page is about mod videos in general: creatures, bosses, modpacks and mod-count challenges.

Do you edit “I added mods without telling my friends” videos?

Not yet. I would build them on the secret: the mod going in first, so the viewer is in on it, then the friends finding out, with every reaction kept whole and a counter for each mod added. The closest videos in my portfolio are Puff’s “2 Idiots Survive…” mod videos, where two players meet a new mod together.

Do you edit modpack series and mod showcases?

One video with “modpack” in the title so far: Puff’s “3 idiots Survive Minecraft’s Deadliest Modpack.. Dread”. A long tech or magic modpack series, or a showcase that walks through what a mod adds, would be new for me. I would cut crafting and menus down to the result, mark each tier or new item with the same card, and keep your explanation whole when you show how something works.

My modded recordings crash and load slowly. Is that a problem?

No. Loading screens get covered or cut, relaunches come out, and two recordings split by a crash are joined so the session plays as one. If a crash cost you a world, send both files and tell me where the story picks up again.

How much does a modded Minecraft YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your modded Minecraft footage

Send me your channel link and one raw recording through the contact form. I’ll edit one minute of it for free and reply with an exact quote.
