Video types
F1 career and My Team seasons race by race, “can I make Bottas a world champion” careers, recreated real races, F1 game challenges and experiments, sim racing races and rig videos, new game and DLC reviews
Editing style
What I would do for F1 and racing games: the overtake cut on the move, the gap and the position always on screen, laps with nothing happening sped up or gone, and the team radio kept when it adds drama. Close to the race videos I edit for Rex & Alexa
Video length
GridDrop’s career races run 14 to 27 minutes, Webby87’s experiments 5 to 20 minutes and James Baldwin’s sim racing videos 12 to 50 minutes (measured on Oct 18, 2026), so most land in the $150 package and longer races in the $300 package. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
Track record
Proven YouTube results: 1,277 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

My experience and F1 and racing games, plainly

Why me

What big F1 game and sim racing channels upload in 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent long videos of GridDrop and Webby87 (F1 games) and James Baldwin (sim racing). GridDrop’s races run 14 to 27 minutes, Webby87’s videos 5 to 20 minutes, and James Baldwin’s 12 to 50 minutes. The formats that keep coming back:

How I would edit your F1 and racing game videos

No racing channel has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan. Each point comes from work I already do: Rex & Alexa’s race videos, SquadZilla’s Madden tournaments and the challenge videos I edit every week.

The overtake or the crash first

A racing title promises a result: the win from last place, the title decided in the last race. I would open on that moment for a few seconds, then go to the grid, so the promise shows up in the first 30 seconds.

Position and gap always readable

Viewers follow a race through numbers. I would keep the position, the gap to the car ahead and the lap count in one clean graphic, the same in every episode, and enlarge the game’s timing tower when a position changes.

Quiet laps sped up, battles at full speed

Most of a race is laps where nothing changes. I would speed them up with a lap counter or cut them, and play every battle and the last laps in real time with the onboard sound up. It is how I cut repeated attempts in Rex & Alexa’s videos: the routine short, the moment that matters whole.

Team radio and your voice

Team radio and your commentary carry the strategy. I would keep the radio calls that change the race, subtitle them if they are hard to hear and duck the engine noise under your voice without losing the feel of speed.

A season as a series

For a career I would open each race with a short line of what is at stake (the points gap, the contract), keep the standings card the same every episode and end soon after the chequered flag, so the next race is the reason to come back.

Replays that explain

A crash or a move earns one replay from the best angle, slowed at the moment of contact, with an arrow or a line if the move is hard to see. Then the race goes on.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Four long-form videos I edited, chosen because their format sits closest to a racing video: two race videos for Rex & Alexa and two Madden tournaments for SquadZilla. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is F1 and racing games. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited F1 and racing games videos before?

No, I haven’t edited F1 or racing game videos for a client yet. The closest work I’ve done is race videos for Rex & Alexa and ten Madden NFL tournaments for SquadZilla, all on my YT Jobs profile. To see my cut on your own F1 and racing games footage before you pay, ask for the free 1-minute test edit.

Can you edit my F1 and racing games videos?

Yes. Send one recorded race or a few laps of it, with your commentary or team radio and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.

Can you edit a full F1 career season into one video?

Yes. Videos over 35 minutes get a custom quote. I would keep qualifying short, the races to their key laps, add chapters by race and keep the standings on screen.

Do you edit sim racing with a wheel cam or face cam?

Yes, as capacity: I would cut between the onboard view and your wheel or face cam on the big moments, and keep them in sync so a reaction matches the move.

Do you edit other racing games, like Forza or Gran Turismo?

Yes, the same way: position and lap on screen, battles at full speed and quiet laps gone. I haven’t edited them for a client yet either, so the free 1-minute test is the place to start.

How much does a F1 and racing games YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your F1 and racing games footage
