Garry’s Mod YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. I edit long-form gaming for 1.26M–2.29M-subscriber channels (Mud, Puff, Rex & Alexa) and can edit yours: $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. My closest work is hide and seek and friends-chaos videos; I haven’t edited Garry’s Mod videos for a client yet, so start with a free 1-minute test.

9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Sandbox “X vs Y” videos (monsters against forts, tornadoes against buildings), nextbot chases and escapes, hide and seek and prop hunt, funny moments with friends, “Banned from Garry’s Mod” style servers, horror maps and Backrooms
- Editing style
- What I would do for Garry’s Mod: the monster, the tornado or the find shown in the first seconds, the setup trimmed, every chase and every found hider cut on the frame with the reaction held, and sound effects on the jokes, not everywhere. Close to Dr laba’s hide and seek videos and Puff’s Backrooms chases
- Video length
- Garry’s Mod videos are short and frequent: TheFrizkyFrog’s recent uploads run 8 to 15 minutes, Gray Gaming’s 9 to 11 and Jameskii’s 10 to 17 (measured on Oct 18, 2026), so most land in the $55 or $150 package. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,277 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Closest proof
- I haven’t edited Garry’s Mod for a client yet. Closest long-form work: “EXTREME HIDE & SEEK With MY FANS In DRESS To IMPRESS!” on Dr laba (527K subscribers), 359.6K views; “Minecraft Mini Hide and Seek (Funny Moments)” on tucker (18.5K subscribers), 37.8K views
My experience and Garry’s Mod, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1,277+ videos and 152M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. I edit for Mud (1.26M subscribers), Puff (1.83M) and Rex & Alexa (2.29M); for Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Not proven yet: Garry’s Mod itself: building contraptions, addons, the Workshop and the gamemodes (TTT, Murder, DarkRP) known on sight. My hide and seek and chase work so far is in Roblox, Minecraft and other indie games.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own Garry’s Mod footage, before you pay anything.
Why me
- Hide and seek videos for Dr laba in Dress To Impress and for tucker in Minecraft, plus Rex & Alexa’s shrink hide and seek: the core of prop hunt.
- Backrooms and chase videos with friends for Puff, the shape of a nextbot escape.
What Garry’s Mod channels upload in 2026
Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent long videos of TheFrizkyFrog, Gray Gaming and Jameskii. The two biggest channels upload short, frequent videos: TheFrizkyFrog’s run 8 to 15 minutes, Gray Gaming’s 9 to 11, and Jameskii’s 10 to 17. The formats that keep coming back:
- Sandbox matchups: “CAT IN THE HAT VS FORTS!”, “BIGGEST TORNADO VS BUILDINGS!”.
- Monsters from other worlds dropped into GMod: “NEW SCP 1051 MONSTER VS ALL SIREN HEADS in Garry’s Mod”, “HUGGY WUGGY vs PROTOTYPE in Garry’s Mod!”.
- Nextbot chases and escapes, often in series of numbered episodes.
- Trolling servers: “Banned From Garry’s Mod 16”.
- Hide and seek and horror maps with friends from smaller channels.
How I would edit your Garry’s Mod videos
No Garry’s Mod channel has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan. Each point comes from work I already do: Dr laba’s and tucker’s hide and seek videos, Rex & Alexa’s hide and seek, PlayBoiKobe’s 5 Idiots video and Puff’s Backrooms chases.
The matchup in the first seconds
A sandbox title is a matchup: the monster against the fort, the tornado against the town. I would show the monster and the target in the first seconds and cut the spawning and the setup, so the promise is on screen right away.
Hide and seek: the hiding spot, then the find
In prop hunt and hide and seek I would show the hider’s spot first so viewers are in on it, cut to the seeker getting close, then cut on the frame of the find and hold the reactions. It is the order I used in Dr laba’s hide and seek videos.
Chases cut on the scare
A nextbot chase works on rhythm: a beat of quiet, the sound, the face on screen. I would leave that beat, cut on the first frame the nextbot is visible and keep the screaming whole, as in Puff’s Backrooms videos.
Friends’ jokes kept, dead time gone
In funny moments the jokes between friends are the video. I would cut loading, menus and wandering, keep the line that sets up each joke and the reaction to it, and never trim a laugh to save a second.
Effects on the joke, not everywhere
GMod videos lean on memes and sound effects. I would use them on the punchline and the fail, define a small set once and reuse it so the series has its own sound, and keep game audio audible under your voice.
Numbered series that look the same
For numbered episodes (nextbot escapes, banned-from-GMod servers) I would keep the same intro card, episode number and end screen every time, so viewers recognise the series in a second.
Closest real examples of my gaming work
Five long-form videos I edited, chosen because their format sits closest to a Garry’s Mod video: hide and seek for Dr laba, tucker and Rex & Alexa, a group of friends in a co-op game for PlayBoiKobe and a Backrooms chase for Puff. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.
None of these is Garry’s Mod. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ
Have you edited Garry’s Mod videos before?
No, I haven’t edited Garry’s Mod videos for a client yet. I edited hide and seek videos for Dr laba and tucker and a 5 Idiots co-op video for PlayBoiKobe, and I edit Rex & Alexa’s hide and seek and Puff’s Backrooms videos, all on my YT Jobs profile. To see my cut on your own Garry’s Mod footage before you pay, ask for the free 1-minute test edit.
Can you edit my Garry’s Mod videos?
Yes. Send a few minutes of one recorded session, with your voice chat and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.
Can you edit several GMod videos a week?
Yes. After the first video, edits come back in 1 to 2 days, and short uploads are what GMod channels post most. Videos up to 10 minutes are in the $55 package.
Do you edit nextbot and horror maps?
Yes, as capacity in GMod: I would cut them like the chase and horror videos I edit for Puff, with a beat of quiet before each scare and the reaction kept whole.
Do you edit SCP videos too?
Yes. SCP gameplay and lore videos are close to Garry’s Mod monster videos; my SCP page explains how I would cut both.
How much does a Garry’s Mod YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
