Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
Extreme Demon and hard-level grinds with an attempt counter, “Geometry Dash, but…” challenges (random portals, extreme coins, playing tiny), demon roulettes, head-to-head videos between players, custom levels played as games (hide and seek, would you rather, traps), level-building videos (hidden coins, secret ways), level histories
Editing style
What I would do for Geometry Dash: the first death shown whole, the grind folded into one counter of attempts and new bests, the winning run left uncut over the level’s song, one card for every roulette roll or random portal. Closest to the obbies and towers I edit for Rex & Alexa and to the rule challenges I edit for Crazz
Video length
More than half of recent Geometry Dash uploads run 13 to 34 minutes (27 of 48 from four Geometry Dash channels, median 20.8, measured on Oct 13, 2026), next to a few Extreme Demon completions under 5 minutes and five videos of one to six hours, so most land in the $150 or $300 package. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
Track record
Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

My experience and Geometry Dash, plainly

Why me

What Geometry Dash channels upload, measured in October 2026

Measured on October 13, 2026, from the 12 most recent uploads of three big Geometry Dash channels, GuitarHeroStyles, EricVanWilderman and Moldy, and the Geometry Dash history channel Wrongway98. Most of those 48 titles name Geometry Dash, one of its levels or RobTop. The median runs 20.8 minutes and the middle half runs 13 to 34; GuitarHeroStyles also posts Extreme Demon completions of 1 to 5 minutes, and five videos pass an hour, the longest a six-hour level. How I would edit your Geometry Dash videos

I haven’t cut Geometry Dash for a client, so this is how I would do it, built on the obbies, rule challenges and documentaries I already edit.

The level, its difficulty and the rule before Attempt 1

In the first 30 seconds I would put the level name, its difficulty (Insane, Extreme Demon) and the rule of the video on screen, so a viewer knows what beating it means before the first death. The title is the brief: the rule I follow on Rex & Alexa’s obby videos.

Hundreds of deaths, told in a few minutes

I would show the first death in full so the hard part makes sense, group the next ones by where they happen (the ship section, the wave, the last jump) and keep one fixed counter with the attempt number and your new best in the same corner every episode. It is how I cut the falls in Rex & Alexa’s obby videos.

The winning run in one take

The run that beats the level would play from its first frame to the Level Complete screen with no cut, no speed-up and nothing covering the icon: in Geometry Dash a cut inside the run looks like a splice. If you record click sounds or a hand cam, they stay in sync for the whole run. A replay of the hardest part goes after the run, never inside it.

The level’s song stays the soundtrack

Every level is built on its song, so I wouldn’t lay other music over the gameplay. Your voice sits on top with the song ducked under it, cuts between attempts land on the beat, and memes and sound effects go in the pauses between attempts, not over a run.

Random rules and roulettes: one card per roll

For random portals or a demon roulette, each roll would get the same card, designed once and reused, with the level and the rule on it, so the viewer can follow the chaos. It is the shape of Crazz’s “99 Nights, But…” videos and of HyperCookiie’s obby where every fall exposes a secret.

Building a level: the finished level first

For a video where you build a level, or hide new coins or secret ways in one, I would open on a few seconds of the finished result, tell the build in parts with a card for each section and close on a full playthrough. The closest thing I’ve edited is Robuilds’ Bloxburg builds, each one told in 9 to 21 minutes.

Level histories from your script

For a history like Grief’s or the race to verify a top 1, I would cut to your script and voiceover first, then lay in the footage of each attempt, with names, dates and list positions on screen as you say them. Script and voiceover first is how I edit documentaries for The Interpreter and The Spy Show.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

These are long-form videos I edited, picked because their format is the closest to a Geometry Dash video: an obby built to make players fall, a rule that fires on every fall, an escalating “but…” challenge, a build and a history told from a script. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is Geometry Dash. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited Geometry Dash videos before?

No, I haven’t edited Geometry Dash videos for a client yet. My long-form gaming work is Roblox (Rex & Alexa, Mud), Minecraft (Puff, Swaylemc’s full movies), horror games and Madden tournaments, all listed on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own Geometry Dash footage is how you judge my Geometry Dash edit before paying anything.

Can you edit my Geometry Dash videos?

Yes. Send a raw recording with the attempts and the winning run in it, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to marathons of several hours.

Do you build Geometry Dash levels or work in the in-game editor?

No. I’m a YouTube video editor: I don’t build, decorate or verify levels in the game’s editor. If you build levels, I can edit the video that tells how you built one.

Can you turn hours of attempts or a stream into one video?

Yes. From a long grind or a stream I would keep the attempts that move your best forward, the near misses and your reactions, and cut the waiting in between. A finished video over 35 minutes gets a custom quote; for stream VODs, see my streamer editing page.

Will you cut inside my completion?

No. The completion stays one continuous take at real speed, from the first frame to the Level Complete screen. I edit around it: the attempts before it, your reaction after it and, if you want one, a replay of the hardest part.

How much does a Geometry Dash YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
