Quick fit check: golf channels
- Type of video
- Golf matches and series with a running score (match play, stroke play, 2v2 and 3v3), course vlogs, one-rule challenges (“can I break 80”, “this video ends when…”), travel series filmed hole by hole, golf tips to camera, and Shorts cut from each round.
- Proof in golf
- I don’t have a published golf edit to show yet. Closest published work: a 24-hour challenge vlog filmed on location (Scarlett Mae, 972,660 views on October 13, 2026), 99-yard Madden tournaments decided by a running yardage total (SquadZilla) and lessons to camera (English by Erin Marie). The free 1-minute test on your own round is how you check golf before paying.
- Editing style
- What I would do for golf: a scoreboard that updates on the cut, the holes that change the match kept whole and the rest compressed, the banter kept, wind cleaned off the mics, tracers only on the shots that matter. If your channel already has a look (scorecard graphic, fonts, music), I match it.
- Video length
- Big golf channels upload long: the 46 most recent long videos of four of them ran a median of 65 minutes (YouTube Data API, October 13, 2026). Course vlogs and challenges up to 35 minutes fit the packages below; hour-long matches get a custom quote.
- What you send me
- Every camera angle of the round (wide, follow, green), each player’s mic as its own track, the scorecard or a photo of it, the hole list with par, the shots you want traced, any sponsor read, and one past video whose style you want to keep.
- Upload schedule
- One video a week, two or three a week, or a daily series. Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Estimated price
- $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. Hour-long matches: custom quote within 24 hours, after the free 1-minute test. Shorts from each round go into the same quote.
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours. Replies usually within a few hours.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish.
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
What big golf channels upload in 2026
Read with the YouTube Data API on October 13, 2026: the most recent long videos (3 minutes and over) of four big golf channels, up to 12 per channel. That is 46 videos with a median length of 65 minutes; 45 of them run 40 minutes or more, 28 pass an hour and only 1 is under 30 minutes. On these channels golf is long-form, and the edit has to carry a full round.
| Channel | Recent long videos | Median length (range) | Example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Good Good 2.16M subscribers | 10, one a day (Oct 4–13) | 57 min (42 min to 73 min) | Golfing 50 States in 50 Days | 1st Hole in One! 1:03:29 · 794,216 views |
| Bob Does Sports 1.53M subscribers | 12, one a week (Jul 23–Oct 8) | 59 min (42 min to 94 min) | THE MATCH: Fat Perez Vs Garrett Clark (18 Holes) 1:04:39 · 1,418,168 views |
| Bryan Bros Golf 966K subscribers | 12, May 12–Oct 13 | 99 min (26 min to 3 h 51) | Only 2 Teams Will Survive (YGT) 3:51:03 · 3,927,534 views |
| Peter Finch Golf 844K subscribers | 12, Jun 25–Oct 5 | 84 min (44 min to 105 min) | I challenged a Head Pro at HIS OWN COURSE (£1000 Match) | Ep.5 England 1:28:21 · 303,895 views |
The formats that keep coming back in the 120 latest uploads of those four channels:
- Matches with a running score. 18-hole matches and 3v3 series such as The 3V3 Series (Bob Does Sports, Grant Horvat, Bryan Bros) (2,174,722 views), or the £1000 head pro matches on Peter Finch Golf.
- Elimination tournaments that run for hours. Two of Bryan Bros Golf’s YGT episodes run close to four hours: Who Gets Eliminated? (YGT Round 2) is 3:48:37 long and has 5,261,346 views.
- One-rule challenges. Can Bobby Fairways FINALLY Break 80? (ELECTRIC) on Bob Does Sports (45:52) or Can I BREAK PAR at Royal Birkdale? (The Open Edition) on Peter Finch Golf (1:07:10).
- Daily travel series. Good Good’s “Golfing 50 States in 50 Days”: one long episode a day; the 10 from October 4 to 13 run 42 to 73 minutes.
- Matches against pros. The Rematch Of The Decade: Bob Does Sports Vs Bryson DeChambeau (1:20:35, 2,344,683 views).
- Shorts next to the long videos. Good Good posted 20 Shorts in the same ten days as its 10 episodes; 15 of Peter Finch Golf’s latest 30 uploads are Shorts; Bob Does Sports posted none in its latest 30.
It is also a job companies hire for: a full-time golf video editor listing from Times10 on Mediabistro (read on October 13, 2026; posted about three months before) asks for long-form YouTube content, challenge videos, course vlogs, instructional content and branded integrations; hooks, pacing, captions, graphics, transitions and sound design; and a paid trial edit before hiring.
How I would edit your golf videos
I don’t have a published golf edit to show yet, so this is how I would do it, built on what I already do on published videos.
The stakes on screen in the first 30 seconds
If the video is a match, who is playing, the format and what is at stake would be on screen before the first tee shot. If it is a one-rule challenge, the rule goes up first and stays easy to find. It is the rule I follow on challenge vlogs: what the title promises shows up early.
A scoreboard that updates on the cut
Hole, par and match status (2 UP, all square) in the same corner every episode, updated the moment the putt drops, not three seconds later, and readable on a phone. The closest format I’ve edited is SquadZilla’s Madden 99 Yard Tournament (earlier work): a race to 99 yards where the viewer needs the running total at every moment.
Eighteen holes in about an hour: keep the holes that change the match
I would keep every shot on the holes that swing the match, fold halved holes into a quick run with the scoreboard ticking forward, and cut the walks, the ball searches and the wait for the group ahead. The banter that links two holes stays, so it still feels like one round. Same logic as any long tournament video: the early part moves fast, the decisive holes get room.
Multi-cam cut on the strike
Wide for the setup, the follow or drone angle for the flight, the green camera for the result. The cameras would be lined up on the sound of impact, and the angle changes when it shows something new (where the ball lands), never in the middle of a swing.
Tracers only on the shots that matter
The tee shot on the hole that decides the match, the approach that sets up an eagle, the hole-in-one attempt. A tracer on every swing stops meaning anything. If you film with a tracer app, I keep those clips; tracers drawn in the edit are something to check in the free test.
The banter is the content
Each player’s mic levelled against the others, wind cleaned off, the ball dropping in the cup kept, music under the talk and never over it. Sound effects land on the joke, not on every shot.
Shorts from every round
One moment per Short (a hole-in-one, the worst tee shot of the day, the putt that wins), vertical, with the outcome in the first second and captions near the top. I cut Shorts every week for English by Erin Marie; for golf they would come from the same round as the long video.
One look for the whole series
Hole title cards, the scorecard, the sponsor read and the end screen designed once and reused, so every episode looks like the same show. Sponsor reads go between holes, never over a putt.
My experience and golf, plainly
- Proven: my YT Jobs profile tracks 1,250 videos and 147M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Not proven yet: golf on a published video. Knowing on sight which shot swung a match, reading a putt line in the footage, drawing tracers by hand. I don’t have a published golf edit to show yet.
- How to check it before paying: the free 1-minute test on your own round. Send the hole with the most going on.
Closest real examples of my work
None of these is golf. They are the published videos closest in shape to a golf video. Lengths and views read with the YouTube Data API on October 13, 2026.
- I Became a GYARU ANGEL in Japan for 24 Hours · Scarlett Mae · Jun 22, 2026 · 16:34 · 972,660 views
Why it’s close: A 24-hour challenge vlog filmed in Tokyo: one premise for the whole day (a full gyaru angel transformation), then two shoots out on the street, the second one at night, with people’s reactions. The same shape as a course vlog or a one-rule golf challenge. - 99 Yard Tournament with EVERY NFL QB! · SquadZilla · Nov 25, 2025 · 24:00 · 57,874 views
Why it’s close: A Madden tournament where you move up a tier of quarterbacks by gaining 99 total yards, and the first to get through all five tiers wins. A running yardage total decides it: the closest thing I’ve edited to a golf match. It is Madden, a video game, not real footage (more on that page). - What British People Say vs What They Really Mean | British English · English by Erin Marie · Sep 30, 2026 · 6:59 · 978 views
Why it’s close: A lesson to camera with text timed to the voice and Shorts cut from it: the format of golf tips and swing lessons (talking head editing).
Prices
$55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. A typical example by finished length:
| Finished length | Typical price |
|---|---|
| up to 10 min | $55 |
| up to 20 min | $150 |
| up to 35 min | $300 |
| over 35 min (most golf matches) | custom quote |
Golf runs long: the 46 recent videos from four big channels have a median of 65 minutes, past the 35-minute package, so hour-long matches get a custom quote within 24 hours, after the free test. Course vlogs and challenges up to 35 minutes fit the table. Shorts cut from each round go into the same quote. If after two revision rounds the edit still isn’t right, you don’t pay the second invoice. Full terms are on the pricing page.
FAQ
Have you edited golf videos before?
I don’t have a published golf edit to show yet. My published work is long-form gaming (1,250 videos tracked on my YT Jobs profile), a 24-hour challenge vlog filmed on location for Scarlett Mae (972,660 views on October 13, 2026), 99-yard Madden tournaments for SquadZilla, where a running yardage total decides the winner, and lessons to camera for English by Erin Marie. That is why the first step is a free 1-minute test on your own round, before you pay anything.
Can you edit my golf YouTube videos?
Yes: matches and series with a running score, course vlogs, one-rule challenges, travel series filmed hole by hole, and the Shorts from each round. Send your channel link and the raw footage of one round; I edit one minute for free and reply with an exact quote within 24 hours.
How much does a golf YouTube video editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300. Hour-long matches, like the ones big golf channels upload, get a custom quote within 24 hours, after the free 1-minute test edit.
Can you add a scoreboard and shot tracers?
Yes. The scoreboard (hole, par and match status) would be designed once in your channel’s style, sit in the same corner every episode and update on the cut. Tracers go on the shots that matter, not on every swing. I haven’t drawn tracers on a published golf video yet, so check them in the free 1-minute test.
How long should a golf YouTube video be?
On big channels, long. On October 13, 2026 the 46 most recent long videos of Good Good, Bob Does Sports, Bryan Bros Golf and Peter Finch Golf ran a median of 65 minutes, and 45 of them ran 40 minutes or more. A smaller channel does not have to match that: the right length is the one the round holds without dead holes.
What should I send my editor for a golf video?
Every camera angle of the round, each player’s mic as its own track, the scorecard or a photo of it, the hole list with par, the shots you want traced, any sponsor read, and one past video whose style you want to keep. If you film with a tracer app, send those clips too.
Can you cut Shorts from my golf videos?
Yes. Each Short is one moment that stands alone (a hole-in-one, the worst tee shot, the putt that wins), vertical, with the outcome in the first second and captions near the top. Some big golf channels lean on them: Good Good posted 20 Shorts alongside its 10 daily episodes from October 4 to 13, 2026. Shorts go into the same quote as the long video.
Send me one round
