9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- 100 Days in a themed world (flooded, caves only, sulfur, random chunks, sunken ships), 100 Days in a modpack (RLCraft) or an outbreak (parasites, zombies), survival in a real place (Amazon rainforest, Alaska, the Arctic), often in realistic Minecraft, one block and skyblock runs, 100 Days with subscribers, other clocks (200 days, one year), hardcore survival series
- Editing style
- What I would do for a 100 Days video: a fixed day counter, room for the first days, the grind compressed, the last days close to real time, builds sped up and fights left at real speed. The closest work I edit today: my long Minecraft survival videos for Puff and Swaylemc’s full movies
- Video length
- Big 100 Days channels upload long: 33 of the 48 latest long videos of Obiromo, SoyCubo, Luke TheNotable and Forge Labs are day-count runs in Minecraft, from 30 minutes to 3 h 25 min (median 1 h 26 min, measured on Oct 13, 2026), so most get a custom quote; a 30 to 35-minute cut fits the $300 package. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Closest proof
- I haven’t edited Minecraft 100 Days for a client yet. Closest long-form work: “I Survived 100 Days As Cat Monster in 99 Nights...” on Crazz (10.7K subscribers), 246.1K views; “It Heard My Voice... (FULL MOVIE)” on Swaylemc (205K subscribers), 1.16M views
My experience and Minecraft 100 Days, plainly
- Proven: Most of my 160 videos for Puff are Minecraft survival with horror mods, one of them in hardcore; Swaylemc’s full Minecraft movies run 60 to 234 minutes; and two Roblox videos I cut for Crazz carry the same “I Survived 100 Days” title.
- Not proven yet: A Minecraft 100 Days run edited start to finish: day-by-day pacing across 100 in-game days, a modpack such as RLCraft, realistic shaders. My only video with Hardcore in the title is one 34-minute episode for Puff, and my 100-day videos are two Roblox ones for Crazz, 13 and 14 minutes long.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own Minecraft 100 Days footage, before you pay anything.
What big 100 Days channels upload in 2026
Measured on October 13, 2026, from the 12 most recent long videos of four big Minecraft survival channels: Forge Labs, Luke TheNotable, SoyCubo and Obiromo. 33 of those 48 videos are day-count runs in Minecraft (100 Days, one year and similar), and 24 of the 33 have Hardcore in the title. Each channel keeps its own length for these runs: Obiromo’s last 50 to 68 minutes, SoyCubo’s from about 1 h 15 min to 1 h 45 min, Forge Labs’ about three hours, and most of Luke TheNotable’s land on a round half hour, one hour or two hours. The formats that keep coming back:
- A themed hardcore world: flooded, caves only, sulfur only, random chunks, infinite sunken ships, a mountain.
- A modpack or an outbreak: RLCraft, a parasite colony, a bacterial outbreak.
- A real place: the Amazon rainforest and Alaska in realistic Minecraft, the Arctic in hardcore. Forge Labs’ Amazon rainforest video is the most watched of the four channels’ recent uploads, with 8.7M views.
- A different clock: 40, 75 or 200 days, one year, and Luke TheNotable’s 5000 Days in hardcore, with 5.2M views.
- Spanish titles: SoyCubo, whose other recent titles are in English, published one as “Sobreviví 100 Días en una RAVINE en Minecraft Hardcore”. With 3.2M views, it is the most watched of SoyCubo’s 12 latest long videos.
On YouTube, typing “minecraft 100 days” suggests hardcore, zombie apocalypse, modpack, skyblock and one block (autocomplete checked on October 13, 2026).
How I would edit your Minecraft 100 Days videos
I haven’t cut a Minecraft 100 Days run for a client, so this is how I would do it, built on the long Minecraft survival videos I edit for Puff and on Swaylemc’s full movies.
The world and the rule on screen before Day 1 ends
A 100 Days title promises a place and a rule: a flooded world, a cave world, RLCraft, one block. I would put that rule, and what makes it hard, on screen in the first 30 seconds, before the first night falls. It is the principle behind the Rex & Alexa challenge videos I edit: the title’s promise pays off early.
One day counter, same corner, every video
The day counter is the spine of the video. I would design it once (“Day 37”, same size, same corner) and use it to mark every time jump, so a viewer who skips ahead always knows how far into the run you are. If you upload a run as a series, the same counter and end screen carry over to every episode.
Slow first days, a compressed middle, the last days close to real time
The first days, the first night and the first shelter get room, because that is where the stakes are set. The middle of the run (mining, farms, gear) would be folded into montages where the counter jumps several days at a time, and the last days and the final goal play close to real time. Before each new stretch, one line of commentary would remind the viewer what is at stake. I give Roblox obby attempts the same shape: the first try whole, the repeats compressed, the winning run in full.
Builds sped up, fights at real speed
Base builds and farms are where a timelapse works: I would speed them up with a before-and-after and the day counter running. Fights with mobs or a boss, and the fall that nearly kills you, stay at real speed, because sped up they are hard to read. Loading screens and inventory sorting get covered or cut.
Hardcore: the near-deaths are the story
In hardcore you get one life, so the moments when the hearts drop are the tension of the whole video. I would keep the health bar readable in those moments, cut on the hit and hold the reaction whole, never trimming a scream to save a second. “Surviving The Obsessed In Hardcore Minecraft”, a horror run in a hardcore world on Puff’s channel, is the closest video in my portfolio.
Narrated afterwards or live: the cut follows your voice
If you narrate the run afterwards, I would lay your voiceover first and cut the footage to it, the way I edit The Spy Show’s documentary episodes from a script. If you commentate live, as in my co-op Minecraft videos for Puff, I would keep the live reactions and only trim the dead air between them.
Up to 33 hours of play into one to three hours
A Minecraft day lasts 20 minutes, so a 100 Days run can mean up to about 33 hours of raw footage. I would ask for the day numbers where something big happens (a death, a boss, a finished build), build the cut day by day and add YouTube chapters by day range. Every 25 days or so, a short recap card (base, gear, what is left to do) would help viewers who join in the middle.
Closest real examples of my gaming work
These are long-form videos from my portfolio, picked because their format is the closest to a Minecraft 100 Days video: the same 100-day promise in Roblox, hardcore and survival in Minecraft, and full movies of almost three hours. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

FAQ
Have you edited Minecraft 100 Days videos before?
No, I haven’t edited a Minecraft 100 Days video for a client yet. The closest work on my YT Jobs profile: two “I Survived 100 Days” videos in Roblox’s 99 Nights in the Forest for Crazz, Minecraft survival with horror mods for Puff (one video in hardcore) and Swaylemc’s full Minecraft movies of up to almost four hours. The free 1-minute test edit on your own 100 Days footage shows you how I would cut yours.
Can you edit my Minecraft 100 Days videos?
Yes. Send a few minutes of raw footage from your run, plus the day numbers where something big happens, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. A 100 Days video over 35 minutes gets a custom quote, and I can also split a long run into episodes.
How long is 100 days in Minecraft in real time?
A full Minecraft day lasts 20 minutes (Minecraft Wiki), so 100 in-game days is up to about 33 hours of play, less if you sleep through the nights. That is the raw footage a 100 Days video turns into one to three hours, or into a series.
Do you edit hardcore Minecraft and modpack runs?
I’ve edited one video with Hardcore in the title, “Surviving The Obsessed In Hardcore Minecraft” for Puff, and most of my Puff videos are Minecraft survival with horror mods. I haven’t edited an RLCraft-style modpack run or a long hardcore series yet; the free 1-minute test edit on your footage shows how I would cut it.
Can you edit a two- or three-hour 100 Days video, or cut it to a set length?
Yes. Videos over 35 minutes get a custom quote. Tell me the target length before I start: some big channels land on round lengths, like Luke TheNotable’s half-hour, one-hour and two-hour uploads.
Do you also edit 100 Days videos in Roblox?
Yes. Two of my videos for Crazz are “I Survived 100 Days” runs in 99 Nights in the Forest, a Roblox game, cut to 13 and 14 minutes; more on my 99 Nights in the Forest editor page.
How much does a Minecraft 100 Days YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
