Minecraft news YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. I edit long-form gaming for 1.26M–2.29M-subscriber channels (Mud, Puff, Rex & Alexa) and can edit yours: $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. My closest work is Mud’s Roblox Rivals News, a news and updates series; I haven’t edited Minecraft news videos for a client yet, so start with a free 1-minute test.
Free 1-minute test edit · From $55 per video · No contract · Revisions back within 24 h
9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Snapshot and pre-release rundowns, update and drop news, Minecraft Live recaps, real-or-fake and leak videos, opinion on Mojang’s decisions, feature rankings
- Editing style
- What I would do for Minecraft news: the new block or mob on screen first, then why it matters, then the detail; one chapter card per feature; old and new side by side; and labels that separate the official changelog from rumours. Close to the way I cut Mud’s Roblox Rivals News
- Video length
- Minecraft news videos run about 5 to 35 minutes (wattles’ recent uploads 10 to 17 minutes, ibxtoycat’s 14 to 34, measured on Oct 18, 2026), so most land in the $150 package; short snapshot rundowns fit the $55 one. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Closest proof
- I haven’t edited Minecraft news for a client yet. Closest long-form work: “SECRET Skin Update...... (Roblox Rivals News) + New Code” on Mud (1.26M subscribers), 609.8K views; “NEW RANKED UPDATE... (Roblox Rivals News) 🔥” on Mud (1.26M subscribers), 83.4K views
My experience and Minecraft news, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1,250+ videos and 147M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. I edit for Mud (1.26M subscribers), Puff (1.83M) and Rex & Alexa (2.29M); for Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Not proven yet: Minecraft’s update cycle itself: snapshots, Java and Bedrock differences and the technical changelog. My news work so far is Roblox games.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own Minecraft news footage, before you pay anything.
Why me
- News is my longest-running format: Mud’s Roblox Rivals News since March 2025, the biggest series on my YT Jobs profile.
- Update videos for ashlele’s Dress To Impress channel, including “EVERY UPDATE Coming To Dress To Impress in 2026..”.
What big Minecraft news channels upload in 2026
Measured on October 18, 2026, from YouTube search and the 12 most recent videos of wattles, ibxtoycat and xisumavoid. wattles uploads almost every day, 10 to 17 minutes each; ibxtoycat’s run from 14 to 34 minutes; xisumavoid’s snapshot rundowns run 5 to 15, next to longer Hermitcraft episodes. The formats that repeat:
- Snapshot rundowns within days of each release: “Crevasses, Brittle Ice & Playing Next | 26.4 Snapshot 4” (xisumavoid).
- Update news with the feature in the title: “NEW BRITTLE ICE BLOCK, JUKEBOX PLAYLISTS + NEW CAVES TYPE” (wattles, four days ago).
- Opinion on Mojang’s plans: “Minecraft May Become An Xbox Exclusive” and “Jeb Shares His Thoughts On Boss Mobs” (ibxtoycat).
- Event recaps and real-or-fake videos around Minecraft Live and leaks.
News channels win on speed and clarity: the feature, why it matters and what is still unknown, in that order.
How I would edit your Minecraft news videos
No Minecraft news client has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan. Each point comes from Mud’s Roblox Rivals News, the news series I edit every week, and from ashlele’s update videos.
The feature first, then why it matters
The new mob, block or biome is on screen in the first seconds, then one line on why it matters, then the detail. It is the order I use in Mud’s Roblox Rivals News.
One card per feature
Each change in a snapshot gets the same name card and becomes a YouTube chapter, so viewers can jump to the part they care about and the changelog reads like a list.
Old and new side by side
Texture changes, rebalanced mobs and new mechanics are clearer next to the old version. I would split the screen with simple labels instead of describing the difference in words.
Official, rumour or test
Leaks and real-or-fake videos need trust. I would tag each claim on screen as from the changelog, from Minecraft Live or unconfirmed, and add Java or Bedrock tags when the change is only on one.
B-roll that keeps the talking moving
Opinion videos are mostly voice. I would cover the talking with gameplay of the feature being discussed and short shots of the world, so the screen changes with each point and nothing sits still.
A delivery window agreed before snapshot week
News is only news for a day or two. After the first video I usually deliver in 1 to 2 days; for snapshot days I would agree the timing with you in advance so the video goes out while it matters.
Closest real examples of my gaming work
Five news and update videos from my work for Mud and ashlele, chosen because the format is the same as Minecraft news, in another game. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

FAQ
Have you edited Minecraft news videos before?
No, I haven’t edited Minecraft news videos for a client yet. My long-form gaming work is Roblox (Rex & Alexa, Mud), Minecraft (Puff, Swaylemc’s full movies), horror games and Madden tournaments, all listed on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own Minecraft news footage is how you judge my Minecraft news edit before paying anything.
Can you edit my Minecraft news videos?
Yes. Send a few minutes of a raw news recording, with your voice track and the footage of the features and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.
Can you edit a snapshot video the day it comes out?
After the first video I usually deliver in 1 to 2 days. For news that has to go out the same day, tell me your upload slot and how often you need it, and I tell you honestly whether I can hold it.
Do you edit Minecraft Live recaps and longer opinion videos?
Yes. A recap gets one card per announcement and chapters; an opinion video gets B-roll for every point so the voice never sits on a still screen.
Do you also edit Roblox news?
Yes, that is my main news work: Mud’s Roblox Rivals News. See my Roblox news page.
How much does a Minecraft news YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
