Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
Minecraft roleplay episodes (school, family, crush, monster and magic stories), transformation and power arcs, kidnapping and rescue arcs, story challenges with recurring characters (POOR vs RICH, BOYS vs GIRLS, revenge plots), roleplay series in seasons, episodes joined into one MOVIE upload
Editing style
What I would do for Minecraft roleplay: dialogue cut on the line, the speaker always clear even when no character’s lips move, music that changes with the scene, a transformation timed to the frame the new skin loads, an ending that books the next episode. Close to the Roblox roleplay stories I edit for ashlele and to Swaylemc’s Minecraft movies
Video length
Episodes on big Minecraft roleplay and story channels run about 20 minutes (Aphmau’s recent episodes 17 to 22, Cash’s 18 to 24, measured on Oct 13, 2026), so they land in the $150 package or, just past 20 minutes, the $300 one. MOVIE cuts over 35 minutes get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours

My experience and Minecraft roleplay, plainly

Why me

What big Minecraft roleplay and story channels upload in 2026

Measured on October 13, 2026, from the 12 most recent long videos of three big Minecraft story channels: Aphmau (roleplay series), Cash and Maizen (story challenges with recurring characters, such as Maizen’s JJ and Mikey; not every Maizen video is Minecraft). Aphmau posted 12 videos in 13 days: episodes of 17 to 22 minutes and one 45-minute MOVIE cut. Cash’s run 18 to 24 minutes, and Maizen’s 10 to 42. The formats that keep coming back:

How I would edit your Minecraft roleplay videos

No Minecraft roleplay client has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan for your series. Each point comes from work I already do: the Roblox roleplay stories I edit for ashlele, the scripted episodes of First Kiss Summer and Swaylemc’s Minecraft movies.

The moment the title promises, before the intro

A roleplay title promises one event: a transformation, a kidnapping, a crush, an adoption. I would open on that moment (the new skin, the kidnapper, the confession) for a few seconds, then go back to how the day started, so the promise is paid before anyone thinks of leaving. It is the rule I follow on every video, from Rex & Alexa’s challenges to ashlele’s Dress To Impress stories: what the title and thumbnail promise shows up in the first 30 seconds.

Who is talking, when nobody’s lips move

Unless a series uses a face-animation mod, Minecraft characters don’t move their lips, so the edit has to show who speaks. I would cut to the point of view or the camera on the speaker for each line, keep the listener’s skin in frame for the reaction and, when several characters talk in one shot, add subtitles in one color per character, set once for the whole series. It is the job I do on the dialogue scenes of First Kiss Summer for Alli Ingram: the line, then the face of whoever hears it.

No waiting for cues, no /tp, no skins loading as Steve

Group roleplay is recorded live, so it comes with dead air: a player waiting for their cue, a line said twice, someone typing a teleport command, a skin that loads as Steve, chunks loading behind the scene. I would close the gaps between lines so the conversation sounds rehearsed, keep the best take of each line and cover teleports and loading with a shot of the set. The comment that links two scenes stays, the waiting goes, as in every gaming video I edit.

A skin swap is a special effect

In Minecraft a transformation is a skin change, and if it just pops, it looks like a glitch. I would cut on the frame the new skin loads, hide the pop with a flash, particles or a quick push-in, put a sound hit on it and hold the new look long enough to read: the Endergirl eyes, the wings, the fangs. Each power would get one sound and one effect, reused every time it shows up, so viewers learn them like a theme. Cutting on the exact frame is the rule I use for jumpscares in Puff’s horror videos.

Music by scene, and a beat of silence before the reveal

One episode moves through moods: school comedy, the villain, a crush scene, the cliffhanger. I would score each scene on its own, change the music on a cut and never in the middle of a line, keep every voice clearly above it, and drop to silence for a second before a reveal, the way a scare lands in Swaylemc’s horror movies. Sound effects go on the joke or the hit, not under every line.

Voices recorded apart, mixed as one room

If each character is voiced by someone recording at home, every voice would get its own cleanup and level, so a whisper and a shout sit at the right height, with the same light room tone under all of them so the scene sounds like one place. Lines recorded after the gameplay would be lined up with the action in the game, and the game sound kept low and clear under the dialogue, as in the gaming videos I mix every week.

Episode endings, and a MOVIE that doesn’t repeat itself

Each episode would end on its open question (who took her, what the transformation costs) with the same end card every time, as in the numbered seasons and episodes of BloxWorld TV’s kids’ series, which I edited. When episodes are joined into one MOVIE upload, I would remove the recaps, intros and end cards between parts, carry the music across the joins, level the loudness so part 3 is not louder than part 1, and add YouTube chapters. Long uploads are familiar ground: Swaylemc’s Minecraft full movies run up to almost four hours.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Six long-form videos I edited, chosen because their format sits closest to a Minecraft roleplay episode: a Minecraft full movie, roleplay stories and a challenge played inside Roblox games, a kids’ series in seasons and a scripted series built on dialogue. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is Minecraft roleplay. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited Minecraft roleplay videos before?

No, I haven’t edited Minecraft roleplay videos for a client yet. I have edited roleplay stories in Roblox (Dress To Impress for ashlele, 99 Nights in the Forest for HyperCookiie, Brookhaven for BloxWorld TV), Swaylemc’s Minecraft full movies and First Kiss Summer, Alli Ingram’s scripted series, all on my YT Jobs profile. To see my cut on your own characters before you pay, ask for the free 1-minute test edit on one recorded scene.

Can you edit my Minecraft roleplay videos?

Yes. Send a few minutes of one recorded scene, with each player’s recording and voice track if you have them, plus your script or story notes, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10-minute episodes to MOVIE uploads of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.

Can you work from several recordings of the same scene?

Yes, that is how I would cut a roleplay scene: send each player’s recording, and the separate voice tracks if you have them. I would line them up by their audio, pick the best angle for each line and mix the voices as one scene. If you record with a camera account or a replay mod, those shots go in too.

Can you turn my episodes into one MOVIE upload?

Yes. Videos over 35 minutes get a custom quote. I would cut the recaps and end cards between episodes, keep one opening and add chapters. The longest videos in my portfolio are Swaylemc’s Minecraft full movies, which run up to almost four hours.

Is this the same as your scripted series page?

Close, but not the same. My scripted series page is about episodes filmed with a camera; this one is about stories acted inside Minecraft, where the skin, the set, the commands and the game sound are part of the edit.

Do you edit Minecraft roleplay series in Spanish?

Yes. I edit English or Spanish channels, and the free 1-minute test works the same way in both.

How much does a Minecraft roleplay YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
