Pet YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor: you send your raw footage, I cut it and add music, text and Shorts. My closest work is Scarlett Mae’s Japan vlog and Erin Marie’s lessons to camera; I haven’t edited pet videos for a client yet, so start with a free 1-minute test. $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits.
Free 1-minute test edit · From $55 per video · No contract · Revisions back within 24 h
9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Dog and cat vlogs, pet training, rescue and adoption stories, pets reacting to new things, pet product tests, a day in the life of a pet, exotic pets and aquariums
- Editing style
- What I would do for pets: the reaction kept whole, the cute moments slowed down, captions as the pet’s voice if that is your style, and training steps clear and in order
- Video length
- I edit from 8-minute videos to feature-length. Up to 20 minutes is the $150 package and up to 35 minutes the $300 one; longer videos get a custom quote. Scarlett Mae’s Japan vlog runs 17 minutes and Alli Ingram’s episodes 7 to 17; Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- All your clips and audio from the shoot; I build the story.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,277 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

How I would edit your pet videos
I haven’t edited a pet channel yet, so this is my plan for your footage.
The reaction, whole
The moment the dog sees the new toy or the cat meets the box is the video. I keep it whole, with a beat of quiet before it, instead of cutting it short.
Hours of footage, minutes of story
Pets don’t perform on cue. I go through the long recordings and keep the moments that tell a story with a start and an end.
Training steps you can follow
For training videos, each step gets a title and the moment it works at real speed, so viewers can try it with their own pet.
Rescue stories with care
For rescue and adoption stories, a slower pace, the before and after shown with respect, and dates so the viewer can follow the months.
Shorts from the best moment
One reaction or one trick becomes a vertical Short with captions.
Closest real examples of my work
Three videos I edited from recorded footage: a challenge vlog, an episode of a scripted series and a lesson to camera. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.
These are not pet videos, but they are the closest recorded work I’ve edited. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026, or from my YT Jobs profile for the newest videos; links open the video on YouTube.

Can you edit my pet videos?
Yes. Send the raw footage of one video (all the clips, plus the separate audio if you recorded it) and one video whose style you like, and I edit one minute for free. I cut Shorts from the long video too if you want them.
Can you add funny captions for the pet?
Yes, if it fits your channel: short captions as the pet’s voice, in one style used across your videos.
