Psychology YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. For psychology I would give each idea of your script one clear image or diagram, with the key term written on screen as you say it. I haven’t edited psychology videos for a client yet; my closest work is The Spy Show, a narrated series I edit. $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits.
Free 1-minute test edit · From $55 per video · No contract · Revisions back within 24 h
9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Psychology explained, signs and behaviors, relationships and attachment, dark psychology and manipulation tactics, famous experiments retold, cognitive biases, the mind of a historical figure
- Editing style
- What I would do for psychology: one clear image or simple diagram for every idea, the key term written on screen as you say it, case studies told as small stories, and a calm pace that leaves time to think. With the method of my narrated documentaries
- Video length
- I edit from 8-minute videos to feature-length. Up to 20 minutes is the $150 package and up to 35 minutes the $300 one; longer videos get a custom quote. The Tenerife documentary and the Spy Show episode shown here run 13 minutes each; Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- A finished script and narration (script and voiceover). I edit and find the visuals: archive footage, licensed stock, maps, timelines and graphics.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)

My experience with psychology videos, plainly
- Proven: I edit The Spy Show, Vincent Meijer’s narrated spy-history series, where the rule is to show what the narration says in each second, and I delivered The Interpreter’s Tenerife documentary, told from three points of view with quote cards. That is the closest I have to a psychology video built on ideas and cases.
- Not proven yet: Psychology videos for a client, and the science itself: I don’t check studies or diagnoses, so every claim and every study named on screen comes from your script. Character animation is not in my portfolio yet.
- How to check it before paying: A free 1-minute test edit on a passage of your script with a concept or a study in it, before you pay anything.
How I would edit your psychology videos
I haven’t edited a psychology channel yet. This is how I would handle the parts every psychology script has, with what I do in narrated documentaries.
One idea, one image
A psychology script talks about things you can’t film: a bias, a feeling, a habit. Each idea gets one clear image, a stock scene or a simple diagram, instead of random footage that only fills the screen.
The key term, written
When the voice names a concept or a study, the word appears on screen, spelled the way your script has it, so the viewer can remember it or look it up.
Experiments told as stories
A famous experiment is a story with a setup, a twist and a result. I would build it like a scene in a documentary: archive or a recreation, the date, and the result on a card.
Lists with a counter
For a “signs” or “tactics” list, a number in the same corner for every point, and the strongest point saved for last.
A calm, readable pace
Fewer cuts than a gaming video, music below the voice and a pause after the main idea, so the video feels thoughtful instead of rushed.
Closest real examples of my work
Two narrated documentaries I worked on. Neither is psychology; both had to put an image on things nobody filmed, which is most of a psychology script.
These are not psychology videos, but the closest work I’ve edited. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

- The Tenerife Disaster: The Deadliest Crash in Aviation History · The Interpreter (78K subscribers) · 7,687 views · 13 min · Aug 13, 2026
Why it's close: The Tenerife disaster documentary I delivered for The Interpreter, 13 minutes, told from three points of view: the cockpits, the passengers and the tower. One situation seen through the people in it is how many psychology videos tell a case. - Imad Mughniyeh: how CIA & Mossad hunted a Hezbollah leader | Real Life Spy Stories · The Spy Show (832 subscribers) · 99 views · 13 min · Sep 27, 2026
Why it's close: A Spy Show episode, 13 minutes, about a hunt that happened mostly in secret. The series shows what the narration says in each second, the place, the time of day, the object named, which is how an abstract idea gets an image.

FAQ
Have you edited psychology videos before?
No, I haven’t edited psychology videos for a client yet. What I can show is narrated work: The Spy Show, a spy-history series I edit, and the Tenerife disaster documentary I delivered for The Interpreter, both on my YT Jobs profile. A free 1-minute test edit on your own script shows how I would handle a concept, a study or a list.
Can you edit my psychology videos?
Yes. Send the script, the voiceover and the studies or sources you cite, and I edit one minute for free. I find stock scenes and build a diagram for each idea, and I can cut Shorts from the long video if you want them.
Do you check the studies in my script?
I put on screen what your script says and flag any study I can’t find under that name, but the research and the claims are yours.
Can you add a note when a topic is sensitive?
Yes, if your channel uses one: a short card at the start, in the same style in every video. What it says comes from your script.
How much does a YouTube editor for psychology videos cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
