Video types
Loot stacking runs (24 hours, one of every item), solo and duo sloop PvP, ship battles and server wars, alliance betrayals and galleon traps, hunting other crews and streamers, narrated Sea of Thieves movies, custom events with many players, teaching a new player
Editing style
What I would do for Sea of Thieves: the ship and the crew set up in the first seconds, ship battles cut between the helm, the cannons and the holes below deck, a loot counter that pays off at the turn-in, talks with other crews subtitled and kept whole. Close to Puff’s long survival videos and Swaylemc’s full movies
Video length
Sea of Thieves videos run long: Sigy’s 12 latest run 10 minutes to 1 hour 37 (median about 47 minutes), MA5ON’s 16 to 60 (median about 38), measured on Oct 18, 2026. Most land in the $300 package or past it, with a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)

My experience and Sea of Thieves, plainly

What big Sea of Thieves channels upload in October 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent long videos on three channels: Sigy, MA5ON and Captain Squiddy. Sigy’s run from 10 minutes to over an hour and a half, MA5ON’s from 16 minutes to an hour, and Captain Squiddy’s big events close to three hours.

Under all of them, a story about one ship: a solo sloop against a galleon, an alliance that turns, a hold full of loot that has to reach an outpost.

How I would edit your Sea of Thieves videos

No Sea of Thieves creator has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan. It comes from the long survival videos I edit for Puff, Swaylemc’s full movies and the squad fights I cut for goatt.

The ship and the crew, set up first

Viewers need to know who is sailing what: a solo on a sloop, a crew of four on a galleon. I would show the ship, the crew names and the goal (“stack one of every item”, “sink the server”) in the first 30 seconds, so every fight later has a clear underdog.

Ship battles you can follow

A naval fight happens in three places at once: the helm, the cannons and the holes below deck. I would cut between them on the action (a cannon hit, a board, a bucket of water), keep the ram and the sink at real speed, and hold the reaction when a ship goes down. A laugh or a shout is never trimmed to save a second.

A loot counter that pays off at the outpost

For a stacking run, a small counter of what is in the hold, always in the same corner, would grow from island to island, and the turn-in at the outpost plays close to real time as the payoff. The long sailing between islands folds into a few seconds.

Talks with other crews, subtitled

Alliances, trades and betrayals happen in voice chat with strangers. I would subtitle the other crew’s lines, raise their voice under yours and keep the whole conversation until the turn, because a galleon trap only works if viewers heard the promise first.

Many crews, one story

For a war between alliances or a custom event with dozens of players, I would line up each recording by its audio, use a simple map with every ship’s position when it changes, and cut between crews only when something happens, so the story stays one story.

Sea of Thieves movies, scored by act

A narrated movie of an hour moves through acts: setting sail, the first loot, the threat, the battle, the ending. I would score each act on its own, leave a second of silence before a reveal and add YouTube chapters, as in Swaylemc’s full movies, which run up to almost four hours.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Long-form videos I edited, chosen because their format is closest to a Sea of Thieves video: Puff’s ocean and raft survival with friends, his group hunts, goatt’s squad fights and a full movie for Swaylemc. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is Sea of Thieves. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited Sea of Thieves videos before?

No, I haven’t edited Sea of Thieves videos for a client yet. My long-form gaming work is Roblox (Rex & Alexa, Mud), Minecraft (Puff, Swaylemc’s full movies), horror games and Madden tournaments, all listed on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own Sea of Thieves footage is how you judge my Sea of Thieves edit before paying anything.

Can you edit my Sea of Thieves videos?

Yes. Send the raw recording of one session, with each crew member’s voice on its own track if you have it, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.

Can you turn a long stacking session into one video?

Yes. Send the full recording and a note of the key moments (the big find, the fight, the turn-in). I would keep the story of the hold growing, fold the sailing into a few seconds and end soon after the turn-in. Videos over 35 minutes get a custom quote.

Can you edit a Sea of Thieves movie from my script?

Yes. Your narration goes down first and the gameplay is cut under it, with music by act and chapters for a long upload. It is the same workflow as my scripted documentary work for The Spy Show.

Can you work with every crew member’s recording?

Yes, that is how I would cut a ship battle: one recording from the helm, one from the cannons, one below deck. I line them up by their audio and pick the best angle for each moment.

How much does a Sea of Thieves YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
