Zelda YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. I haven’t edited Zelda videos for a client yet. I edit long-form gaming for 1.26M–2.29M-subscriber channels (Mud, Puff, Rex & Alexa) and can edit yours: $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. Closest work: restriction challenges for goatt and Crazz. Start with a free 1-minute test edit.
Free 1-minute test edit · From $55 per video · No contract · Revisions back within 24 h
9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- “Can you beat it using only…” challenges (one gear set, no paraglider, ant size), randomizers of one or several Zelda games, Zelda hide and seek and multiplayer randomizers, viewer and chat challenges, speedrun reactions, long playthroughs of the new remake
- Editing style
- What I would do for Zelda: the rule and the allowed gear on screen at once, a dungeon tracker that stays in place, puzzles trimmed to the moment it clicks and boss fights cut on the hit. Close to the restriction challenges I cut for goatt and Crazz
- Video length
- Zelda challenge videos run long: PointCrow’s recent ones 18 minutes to 4 hours 38 (most around 30 minutes), Linkus7’s 28 minutes to 1 hour 11, Croton’s up to 4 hours 46, measured on Oct 18, 2026. Half-hour videos land in the $300 package; longer runs get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Closest proof
- I haven’t edited Zelda for a client yet. Closest long-form work: “KNIFE ONLY in 1v1v1s in Roblox Rivals!😱” on goatt (11.6K subscribers), 2.1K views; “Surviving 99 Nights with BANNED Classes!” on Crazz (10.7K subscribers), 248K views
My experience and Zelda, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1,250+ videos and 147M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. I edit for Mud (1.26M subscribers), Puff (1.83M) and Rex & Alexa (2.29M); for Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Not proven yet: Zelda itself: knowing every shrine, item and glitch, and the randomizer tools speedrunners use. My challenge work so far is in Roblox and Minecraft.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own Zelda footage, before you pay anything.
What big Zelda channels upload in 2026
Measured on October 18, 2026, from the most recent long videos of PointCrow, Linkus7 and Croton. PointCrow’s run from 18 minutes to 4 hours 38, Linkus7’s from 28 minutes to 1 hour 11, Croton’s up to 4 hours 46. The formats that keep coming back:
- Beat the game with one restriction: “Can you BEAT Tears of the Kingdom using ONLY Knight Gear??”, “Can You Beat Tears of the Kingdom the Size of an Ant?”.
- Randomizers: “Twilight Princess but EVERYTHING is Random”, three Zelda games combined into one randomizer.
- Games with other players: “Zelda, but it’s HIDE AND SEEK!”, multiplayer randomizers.
- Viewer and rule gimmicks: “Zelda, but Every 30 Seconds the Game Changes”, bosses that spawn when a word is said.
- Reactions to speedruns and to the new Ocarina of Time remake, after the 40th anniversary Direct.
How I would edit your Zelda videos
No Zelda client has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan for your video. Each point comes from work I already do: goatt’s restriction videos in Roblox Rivals, Crazz’s 99 Nights challenge runs and Puff’s Minecraft videos.
The rule and the inventory together
A Zelda challenge lives or dies on its rule. I would show the rule and an inventory card with what is allowed in the first seconds, and bring the card back each time a new item joins the run, so viewers can check that the rule holds, like the weapon rule in goatt’s knife-only video.
A tracker for dungeons and hearts
I would keep a small, fixed tracker with the dungeons done, the hearts and the key items, in the same place in every video of the series. In a randomizer it doubles as a checklist of what is still missing.
Puzzles cut to the moment it clicks
Watching someone think for three minutes is not fun; the moment they get it is. I would trim the trial and error, keep the line where the idea comes and play the solution almost in real time.
Explain each random item
In a randomizer, finding the hookshot in the first chest is the whole story. I would add a short caption with where the item came from and why it changes the route, the way the random chunks are explained in Puff’s Minecraft video.
Boss fights on the hit
At the end of each dungeon I would cut the boss fight on each hit, keep the reaction after the last one and show the first failed attempt in full. Further attempts get an attempt counter.
Two players, two views
For hide and seek or multiplayer randomizers I would line up both recordings by their audio and show both views at the moment of the find, like the hide and seek videos I cut for Dr laba and Rex & Alexa.
Closest real examples of my gaming work
Five long-form videos I edited, chosen because their format sits closest to a Zelda challenge: goatt’s knife-only Rivals video, Crazz’s banned-class run, Puff’s random-chunk Minecraft and two hide and seek videos. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.
None of these is Zelda. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.
- KNIFE ONLY in 1v1v1s in Roblox Rivals!😱 · goatt (11.6K subscribers) · 2,138 views · 6 min · Dec 5, 2025
Why it's close: One weapon for the whole video: the rule has to be clear in seconds, as in a one-gear-set Zelda run. - Surviving 99 Nights with BANNED Classes! · Crazz (10.7K subscribers) · 247,994 views · 18 min · Dec 13, 2025
Why it's close: A survival run with banned classes, a restriction challenge from start to end. - Surviving Horrors Mods, But Every Chunk is RANDOM · Puff (1.83M subscribers) · 27,798 views · 38 min · Apr 9, 2026
Why it's close: Minecraft where every chunk is random: each surprise needs a caption, as each item does in a randomizer. - EXTREME HIDE & SEEK With MY FANS In DRESS To IMPRESS! · Dr laba (527K subscribers) · 359,629 views · 17 min · Dec 31, 2024
Why it's close: Hide and seek with many players and several views, the format of Zelda hide and seek. - ROBLOX SHRINK HIDE AND SEEK WITH ALEXA! 2 · Rex & Alexa (2.29M subscribers) · 389,831 views · 11 min · Jul 30, 2025
Why it's close: A shrink hide and seek, a game with a size twist, close to an ant-sized Zelda challenge.

FAQ
Have you edited Zelda videos before?
No, I haven’t edited Zelda videos for a client yet. The closest work I’ve done is goatt’s restriction videos in Roblox Rivals, Crazz’s 99 Nights challenge runs and Puff’s Minecraft videos. All of it is on my YT Jobs profile. To see my cut on your own footage before you pay, ask for the free 1-minute test edit.
Can you edit my Zelda videos?
Yes. Send a few minutes of raw footage from one dungeon or one stretch of your challenge, plus your rule, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours.
Can you edit a randomizer run?
Yes. Send me the spoiler log or a list of where the key items were, and I would caption each important find and keep a tracker of what is still missing. You check the captions in the first draft.
Can you turn a 4-hour challenge into one video?
Yes. Videos over 35 minutes get a custom quote. I would cut the run into chapters by dungeon, keep the tracker the same all the way and level the loudness so the last boss is not louder than your voice.
Can you edit a long playthrough of the new Ocarina of Time remake?
Yes. I would cut it into episodes or one long video with chapters per dungeon, keep your best reactions and trim the backtracking.
How much does a Zelda YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
