Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
Reviews of an analog horror series (“the most underrated analog horror”), lore explainers and timelines, reactions to a new episode, full series compilations, analog horror games and mods, Backrooms and liminal horror games
Editing style
Analog horror pacing: quiet kept long, the VHS look of the source left intact, a single scare cut on the frame, and for reviews the narration as the spine with each clip labelled by series and episode. Close to the analog horror mod and the Backrooms videos I edit for Puff and DakBlox
Video length
Analog horror reviews run long (Mr. Cow’s recent uploads 16 minutes to almost three hours, Caleb Finn’s 21 minutes to four hours, TMetal’s 22 minutes to over three hours, measured on Oct 18, 2026), so most land in the $300 package or get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
Track record
Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

My experience and analog horror, plainly

What big analog horror channels upload in October 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent videos of three channels that review and explain analog horror: Mr. Cow, TMetal and Caleb Finn. Mr. Cow’s run from 16 minutes to almost three hours, TMetal’s from 22 minutes to over three hours and Caleb Finn’s from 21 minutes to four hours. The formats that keep coming back:

How I edit analog horror videos

This is how I cut the analog horror and Backrooms videos I’ve edited for Puff, DakBlox and Rex & Alexa. For reviews and lore explainers, which I haven’t edited yet, I say how I would do them, with the narrated documentaries I edit for The Spy Show as the closest work.

Quiet is the scare

Analog horror is slow: static, a test card, a voice that is almost normal. I keep those long stretches of quiet instead of cutting them for pace, and cut hard only on the one image that breaks the calm. That is how I paced Puff’s analog horror mod video.

The tape look stays untouched

The VHS noise, the tracking lines and the low resolution are the point. I would not sharpen, recolor or crop the source; my titles, labels and captions sit around it in a clean style so the viewer always knows what is the tape and what is you.

Reviews: your narration as the spine

For a series review I would build the edit on your voiceover and give every claim the clip that proves it, with a small label for the series and the episode, the way every line of The Spy Show gets the archive shot that proves it.

Lore as a timeline

Analog horror stories are told out of order. For explainers I would add a simple timeline or map that builds with your narration, in one style for the channel, the kind I make for each Spy Show episode.

Hidden messages, slowed down

Viewers love the frame with the hidden text or the face in the static. I would freeze it, zoom in and give it a second of silence, so the detail lands without you having to say “look closely”.

Liminal spaces, cut with patience

In Backrooms games the empty hallway is the horror. I keep the walk long enough to feel lost, cut on the first sign of the entity and keep the players’ reactions whole, as in the Backrooms videos I edit for Puff and DakBlox.

Real analog horror videos I edited, plus the closest formats

Analog horror and Backrooms videos I’ve edited for Puff, DakBlox and Rex & Alexa, plus one narrated documentary for The Spy Show as the closest format to a review or lore explainer. Start with the one that looks most like your channel.

All of these are videos I edited, tracked on my YT Jobs profile. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited analog horror videos before?

Yes. I’ve edited analog horror and Backrooms videos for Puff (1.83M subscribers), DakBlox (82.6K) and Rex & Alexa (2.29M): a 47-minute analog horror mod for Puff and Backrooms games in Minecraft and Roblox, all on my YT Jobs profile. I haven’t edited analog horror series reviews or lore explainers for a client yet. Send a few minutes of your own footage or voiceover and the free 1-minute test edit shows my cut before you pay.

Can you edit my analog horror videos?

Yes. Send your voiceover and the clips for one section of a review, or a few minutes of gameplay, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos from 10 minutes to several hours and cut Shorts from them if you want them.

Can you edit a two or three hour series review?

Yes. Videos over 35 minutes get a custom quote. I would add chapters by episode or by part of the story, label every clip and keep the loudness even, so the quiet parts of the tapes stay quiet without your voice getting lost.

Will you add VHS effects to my own analog horror series?

Making an analog horror series with tape effects and broadcast screens is not in my portfolio yet. I would show you the free 1-minute test on your footage before you decide.

Do you edit Backrooms and liminal horror games?

Yes, those I’ve edited for Puff, DakBlox and Rex & Alexa, in Minecraft and Roblox.

How much does a analog horror YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your analog horror footage

Send me your channel link and one raw recording through the contact form. I’ll edit one minute of it for free and reply with an exact quote.
