Video types
Group escapes through the Backrooms levels, Backrooms and liminal space mods played for the first time, long survival runs in the Backrooms, building the Backrooms in vanilla Minecraft, realistic liminal space builds and tours, the Backrooms added to a friend’s world as a prank
Editing style
What I would do for the Backrooms: a level card each time the players change level, the hum and the silence kept as the score, endless corridors cut down to the moments something changes, and the entity cut on the frame it appears with the reaction kept whole. The way I cut Puff’s Backrooms escapes
Video length
Backrooms videos run from about 10-minute builds to hour-long playthroughs, and day-count survival runs of over 2 hours (CaseOh’s Backrooms mod video 59 minutes, ThatDirtBlock’s two Backrooms runs 2 hours 14 and 2 hours 17, measured on Oct 18, 2026). Most playthroughs land in the $300 package; long runs get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)

My experience and Minecraft Backrooms, plainly

Why me

What Minecraft Backrooms videos look like in 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from YouTube searches for “minecraft backrooms” and “minecraft liminal spaces”, plus the 12 most recent long videos of ThatDirtBlock, ThatMob and Calce. No big channel uploads only the Backrooms: it is a format that Minecraft horror and survival channels keep coming back to. What shows up:

How I would edit your Minecraft Backrooms videos

This is how I cut the Backrooms and liminal space videos I’ve edited for Puff, Rex & Alexa and DakBlox. Where a Backrooms video asks for something I haven’t done yet, such as a long day-count run, I say how I would do it.

A card for every level

The Backrooms are a list of levels, and viewers lose track fast in rooms that all look alike. I would show a short level card each time the players move to a new level, with the same design in every video, so viewers always know how deep they are.

The hum is the score

The fear of the Backrooms is the buzz of the lights and the silence. I would keep that hum under the whole level, add music only when the danger arrives, keep the voices clearly above it, and drop everything to silence a second before an entity appears.

Endless corridors, cut short

Raw Backrooms footage is a lot of walking through the same yellow rooms. I would cut the walks down to the moments something changes (a sound, a door, a new level), keeping the lines that join two moments so it still feels like one long escape.

The entity on the frame

When an entity appears I would cut on the exact frame, keep the scream and the run whole, and let a short silence follow, the scare timing I use in Puff’s horror mod videos. Never a trimmed reaction to save a second.

A group that splits up

In group escapes the players get separated. I would line up every player’s recording by its audio, cut to whoever is in danger, and label who is where only when it matters, as in Puff’s five- and six-player Backrooms escapes.

One look for every level

Liminal spaces live on their colours. I would keep the colour of each level consistent across the video, add any found-footage or camera effect only where it helps the mood, and never let an effect hide what the viewer needs to see.

Long runs with a day counter

For day-count survival runs I would keep a day counter and the current level on screen, add YouTube chapters at each new level, and level the loudness from the quiet start to the last chase. Long uploads are familiar ground: Swaylemc’s Minecraft full movies run up to almost four hours.

FAQ

Have you edited Minecraft Backrooms videos before?

Yes. I’ve edited Minecraft Backrooms videos for Puff, “5 Idiots Survive the Back Rooms” and “6 Idiots Escape The Backrooms”, plus liminal mods like Elysium.jar, and Roblox Backrooms videos for Rex & Alexa and DakBlox, all on my YT Jobs profile. I haven’t edited a long day-count Backrooms run yet; the free 1-minute test edit on your own footage shows you how I would cut it.

Can you edit my Minecraft Backrooms videos?

Yes. Send a few minutes of one recording, with your voice on its own track and your friends’ recordings if you play as a group, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours.

Can you make level cards for my Backrooms series?

Yes. I would design one level card and reuse it every time the players change level, in every video, so your Backrooms series looks the same from upload to upload.

How do you keep the walking from getting boring?

By cutting to the moments something changes, a sound, a door, a new level, and keeping the lines that join them. The hum stays under it all, so the mood never breaks even when the walk is cut.

Can you edit a 2-hour Backrooms run?

Yes. Videos over 35 minutes get a custom quote. I would add chapters at each level, keep a day counter on screen and level the loudness across the whole video.

How much does a Minecraft Backrooms YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
