Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
Story films shot inside Minecraft, machinima series with voice actors, war and siege movies with mob armies, horror told like a film, cinematic events with guests, shader and world showcases, trailers for servers, maps and mods
Editing style
What I would do for Minecraft cinematics: a shot list built from your camera paths, cuts on movement and on the music, HUD, chat and name tags hidden, dialogue scenes cut like a film, one colour grade for the whole piece, and sound built scene by scene. Close to the way I cut Swaylemc’s Minecraft full movies
Video length
Minecraft movies on the big channels run about 40 minutes to 2 hours 20, while shader cinematics and trailers run under 5 minutes (ApolloTV’s recent uploads 5 minutes to 2 hours 18, NPC WAR’s 13 minutes to 1 hour 10, Wrld’s 26 minutes to 1 hour 34, measured on Oct 18, 2026). Short cinematics land in the $55 package; most films get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
Track record
Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

My experience and Minecraft cinematic, plainly

Why me

What big Minecraft cinematic channels upload in 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent long videos of ApolloTV, NPC WAR and Wrld, plus YouTube searches for Minecraft cinematics and machinima. ApolloTV’s run from 5 minutes to 2 hours 18, NPC WAR’s from 13 minutes to 1 hour 10, and Wrld’s from 26 minutes to 1 hour 34. What keeps coming back:

Classic machinima series with voice actors are mostly older uploads; today the format lives on in these full films and events.

How I would edit your Minecraft cinematic and machinima videos

No Minecraft filmmaker has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan for your film. Each point comes from work I already do: Swaylemc’s Minecraft full movies and Puff’s Minecraft horror.

A shot list from your camera paths

A cinematic is built from takes. I would log every camera path and take, pick the best one for each beat, and cut on movement (a turn, a door, a step), so the film flows like one camera and not a stack of recordings.

Nothing that breaks the film

Nothing kills a Minecraft film faster than the game showing through. I would hide the HUD, chat, name tags, hit markers and loading chunks, and cover the frames where a camera clips a block, so the scene looks performed, not recorded.

Dialogue cut like a film

Minecraft characters don’t move their lips, so the edit carries the dialogue. I would line up each actor’s recording, cut between speakers on the line, hold the listener’s reaction, and keep the voices clean and at one level against the music.

One look for the whole piece

Shaders, lighting and render settings change between shoots. I would match the colour of every shot to one grade, keep the same letterbox and title style throughout, and flag any shot that needs a re-render before it reaches the final cut.

Sound built scene by scene

Minecraft’s own sounds are small. I would build ambience for each place, add footsteps, armour and doors where the scene needs weight, score each act on its own and drop to silence before a reveal, the timing I use in Puff’s horror videos.

Battles readable at any size

For siege and war films I would open each battle wide so viewers see both armies, move in for the key fights, cut on the hit, and come back wide when the battle turns, so a thousand mobs never become noise.

Chapters for feature-length films

For films of 1 to 2 hours I would add chapters at each act, keep one loudness level from the first line to the last battle, and deliver a trailer cut from the same edit if you want one. Long uploads are familiar ground: Swaylemc’s Minecraft full movies run up to almost four hours.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Five long-form Minecraft videos I edited, chosen because their format sits closest to a Minecraft film: Swaylemc’s full movies of 2 to almost 4 hours and a boss spectacle for Puff. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is Minecraft cinematic. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited Minecraft cinematic videos before?

No, I haven’t edited Minecraft cinematic or machinima videos for a client yet. My closest work is Swaylemc’s Minecraft full movies, from 1 to almost 4 hours, and Puff’s Minecraft horror videos, all on my YT Jobs profile. To see my cut on your own footage before you pay, ask for the free 1-minute test edit on one recording.

Can you edit my Minecraft cinematic videos?

Yes. Send one scene with every camera path or take you recorded, the voice tracks and your script or storyboard, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit short cinematics and trailers as well as films of several hours.

Can you work with Replay Mod or camera-account footage?

Yes. Send every take and camera path, named by scene. I would pick the best take for each beat and cut on movement. If a shot needs a new camera path, I would tell you which one before the final cut.

Can you edit dialogue with voice actors?

Yes. Send each actor’s recording separately. I would line them up with the scene, cut between speakers on the line and keep the voices clean and level against the music.

Can you cut a trailer from my film?

Yes. I would cut a short trailer from the same edit, using the strongest shots and lines without spoiling the ending.

How much does a Minecraft cinematic YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
