Minecraft hide and seek YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. I’ve edited hide and seek videos for Rex & Alexa, Dr laba and tucker: a Minecraft mini hide and seek for tucker, plus Roblox and Dress To Impress rounds. Free 1-minute test edit · From $55 per video · No contract · Revisions back within 24 h
9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Mini and shrink hide and seek, hiding as mobs or blocks, prop hunt mods, secret base hide and seek, hidden creators in a big map, twists like gravity or no moving
- Editing style
- Hide and seek pacing: the hiding spot shown to viewers before the seeker arrives, the near miss cut between both sides, the find cut on the frame and the reaction held. The rhythm of the hide and seek rounds I edit for Rex & Alexa
- Video length
- Hide and seek videos on big Minecraft channels run about 14 to 41 minutes (CheapPickle’s recent uploads 14 to 31 minutes, LockDownLife’s 22 to 41, measured on Oct 18, 2026), so most land in the $150 or $300 package. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Proof in this niche
- Real Minecraft hide and seek videos I edited: “Minecraft Mini Hide and Seek (Funny Moments)” on tucker (18.5K subscribers), 37.8K views; “ROBLOX SHRINK HIDE AND SEEK WITH ALEXA! 2” on Rex & Alexa (2.29M subscribers), 389.8K views
My experience and Minecraft hide and seek, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 6 videos I edited with hide and seek in the title, for Rex & Alexa, Dr laba and tucker.
- Not proven yet: Large Minecraft hide and seek events with many creators and prop hunt mods built for Minecraft. My Minecraft hide and seek work is one video; the rest of my hide and seek work is in Roblox.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own Minecraft hide and seek footage, before you pay anything.
Why me
- Hide and seek is a format I keep editing: four rounds so far for Rex & Alexa, a current client.
What big Minecraft hide and seek channels upload in 2026
Measured on October 18, 2026, from YouTube search and the 12 most recent videos of Daquavis, CheapPickle and LockDownLife. CheapPickle’s run from 14 to 31 minutes, LockDownLife’s from 22 to 41 and Daquavis’s from 8 to 57. The formats that repeat:
- A twist on the rules: “Hide and Seek with Gravity in Minecraft” (CheapPickle, a month ago) and a round where nobody can move.
- Finding hidden creators in a huge map: “Can I Find 10 Hidden YouTubers in this Minecraft City?” (LockDownLife, 38 minutes).
- Hiding as something else: mobs, blocks or a chameleon skin, as in “Minecraft, but it’s Meccha Chameleon!”.
- Mini or shrunken players: “Minecraft Mini Hide And Seek” (Daquavis).
Almost all of them are filmed from two sides, the seeker and the hiders, and the edit decides what viewers know before the seeker does.
How I would edit your Minecraft hide and seek videos
This is how I cut the hide and seek videos I’ve edited for Rex & Alexa, Dr laba and tucker, and how I would apply it to a bigger Minecraft round.
Viewers know the spot before the seeker does
I show each hiding spot right after the player picks it, with a quick label, then cut to the seeker walking past it. Knowing where someone is turns every footstep into tension.
A board of who is still hidden
A small row of player heads in the same corner every round, greyed out when someone is found, with the seek timer next to it. Viewers never have to guess the score.
The near miss, cut between both sides
When the seeker gets close I cross-cut the two recordings and drop the music, so the hider’s breath and the seeker’s steps carry the moment. It is the beat that makes the shrink round in Rex & Alexa’s videos work.
The find, cut on the frame
The moment someone is found is cut on the frame and the reaction is held, never trimmed to save a second. The trash talk around it stays too.
The twist in the first 30 seconds
Gravity, mobs, mini players or no moving: the rule is on screen and working before the first round starts, so viewers know why this round is different.
A recap of every spot at the end
Before the outro I would fly through every hiding spot of the round in a few seconds. It pays off the video and gives the comments something to argue about.

FAQ
Have you edited Minecraft hide and seek videos before?
Yes. I’ve edited hide and seek videos for Rex & Alexa (2.29M subscribers), Dr laba (527K) and tucker: one Minecraft mini hide and seek for tucker, shrink, fly and mega hide and seek in Roblox, and fan hide and seek in Dress To Impress, all on my YT Jobs profile. Big Minecraft hide and seek events with dozens of creators aren’t in my portfolio yet; the free 1-minute test shows my cut on yours.
Can you edit my Minecraft hide and seek videos?
Yes. Send a few minutes of raw hide and seek footage, with the seeker’s and the hiders’ recordings if you have them and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.
Can you edit a round from the seeker’s and the hiders’ recordings?
Yes, that is the best way to cut it. Send every recording and I line them up by their audio, then choose for each moment whether viewers see the seeker, the hider or both.
Do you edit prop hunt and hide-as-mobs videos?
Yes. The same rules apply: show the disguise to viewers first, keep a board of who is left and cut the find on the frame. I haven’t edited a Minecraft prop hunt mod yet, so the free test is the way to check.
Do you also edit Roblox hide and seek?
Yes, most of my hide and seek work is Roblox, for Rex & Alexa. My Roblox hide and seek page shows it.
How much does a Minecraft hide and seek YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
