Mod showcase YouTube video editor for hire

I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. I edit long-form gaming for 1.26M–2.29M-subscriber channels (Mud, Puff, Rex & Alexa) and can edit yours: $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. My closest work is modded Minecraft for Puff and Boffy; I haven’t edited mod showcase videos for a client yet, so start with a free 1-minute test.

Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
One mod explained from start to finish, monthly “top 20 mods” lists, mods by theme (magic, armor, world generation, animation), vanilla against modded comparisons, modlist and load order tours, update videos for a big mod
Editing style
What I would do for mod showcases: what the mod adds on screen in the first seconds, a name, version and loader card for every mod in the same style, a numbered counter for lists, vanilla and modded side by side, and loading screens hidden. Close to the modded Minecraft videos I edit for Puff and the mod test I cut for Boffy
Video length
Showcases on big mod channels run about 6 to 25 minutes (SirColor’s recent uploads 4 to 24 minutes, EnderVerse’s 11 to 30, Bards College Graduate’s 10 to 45, measured on Oct 18, 2026), so most land in the $55 or $150 package; long lists land in the $300 package. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
Track record
Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

My experience and mod showcase, plainly

Why me

What big mod showcase channels upload in October 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent videos of three showcase channels: SirColor and EnderVerse (Minecraft) and Bards College Graduate (Skyrim). SirColor’s run from 4 to 24 minutes, EnderVerse’s from 11 to 30 and Bards College Graduate’s from 10 to 45. The formats that keep coming back:

How I would edit your mod showcase videos

No showcase channel has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan for your video. Each point comes from real work of mine: the modded Minecraft videos I edit for Puff and Swaylemc, the mod test I cut for Boffy and a ranked BedWars list from my work for BaconsOwnTheUniverse.

Show what the mod adds before you name it

A viewer clicks a showcase to see something new in the game. I would open each mod on its best moment (the boss, the new dimension, the animation) and only then put up its name, so the first seconds sell the mod. What the title and thumbnail promise shows up in the first 30 seconds.

One card per mod: name, version, loader

Viewers pause to write down the mod. I would design one card (name, game version, Forge, Fabric or NeoForge, and whether it is client-side) and use it the same way for every mod in every video, so your channel is the one people trust for the details.

A counter that tells viewers where they are

In a 20-mod list, viewers skip around. I would keep a fixed counter (7 of 20) in one corner and add a YouTube chapter for each mod, the way I keep a fixed counter in every Roblox challenge series I edit.

Vanilla against modded, in the same shot

For overhauls (graphics, mobs, NPCs, world generation), I would show the game without and with the mod side by side or with a wipe, from the same spot, so the change is obvious in a second.

Creatures and bosses cut on the hit

A new mob is best shown fighting. I would cut on its attack, slow down the move that makes it special and keep the sound of the hit clean, as in the creature and boss mods I edit for Puff.

Loading screens and crashes hidden

Modded games load slowly and stutter. I would cover loading and world generation with B-roll of the mod or a time-lapse, and trim the frames where the game freezes, so the showcase plays smoothly.

Your voice explains, the game sounds stay

I would level your narration above the music, keep the new sounds a mod adds (they are part of the showcase) and dip the music when the mod makes a noise worth hearing.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Five videos from my work for Boffy, Puff and BaconsOwnTheUniverse, chosen because their format sits closest to a showcase: stacking mods until the game breaks, one big mod played to the end, a creature mod, mods in VR and a ranked list. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is mod showcase. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited mod showcase videos before?

No, I haven’t edited mod showcase videos for a client yet. My long-form gaming work is Roblox (Rex & Alexa, Mud), Minecraft (Puff, Swaylemc’s full movies), horror games and Madden tournaments, all listed on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own mod showcase footage is how you judge my mod showcase edit before paying anything.

Can you edit my mod showcase videos?

Yes. Send the recordings for one mod (or a few minutes of your list) and your voiceover if you have one, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos from a few minutes to over an hour, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.

Can you add the mod name, version and loader for every mod?

Yes. Send a list with the name, version, loader and download page of each mod, and I put it on screen in the same card every time and in the chapter titles.

Do you edit Skyrim or other games’ mod videos?

Yes, the method is the same for any game. My mod work so far is Minecraft, so a Skyrim or Fallout channel should start with the free 1-minute test.

Is this the same as your Minecraft mods page?

No. My Minecraft mods page is about videos played with mods (horror mods, modpacks, full movies). This one is about showcases, where the mod itself is the subject and the edit has to explain it.

How much does a mod showcase YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your mod showcase footage

Send me your channel link and one raw recording through the contact form. I’ll edit one minute of it for free and reply with an exact quote.
