Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
100-day movies on official and modded maps, episodic survival series with episode numbers, new creature and taming showcases, overhaul mod runs, PvP and tribe videos, creature tests
Editing style
What I would do for ARK: taming compressed with a timer and paid off with a reveal, a card for every new creature, base builds as time-lapses and a fixed day or episode tag. Close to the taming and 100-day runs I cut for Crazz
Video length
ARK videos run long: Granty’s 100-day movies 2 hours 15 to 3 hours 16, Altross Gamez’s 1 hour 28 to 2 hours 6, Syntac’s series episodes 17 to 45 minutes, measured on Oct 18, 2026. Episodes land in the $300 package; 100-day movies get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
Track record
Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
Channel language
English or Spanish

My experience and ARK, plainly

What big ARK channels upload in 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the most recent videos of Granty, Syntac and Altross Gamez. Granty’s 100-day movies run from 2 hours 15 to 3 hours 16, Altross Gamez’s from 1 hour 28 to 2 hours 6, Syntac’s series episodes from 17 to 45 minutes. The formats that keep coming back:

How I would edit your ARK videos

No ARK client has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan for your video. Each point comes from work I already do: Crazz’s taming and 100-day 99 Nights runs, a rarest-dinosaur hunt for Vlad and Chris and Swaylemc’s full movies.

Taming with a timer and a reveal

A tame can take an hour of real time. I would compress it with a timer and the taming bar on screen, keep the moments where it nearly goes wrong, and pay it off with a short reveal of the new creature, the way a rare find lands in the Vlad and Chris video I edited.

A card for every creature

The first time a creature appears I would add a card with its name and why it matters to the run, the same design every time, so viewers who do not play ARK follow the story of the tribe.

Base builds as time-lapses

Building is hours of placing walls. I would cut it into a time-lapse with a before and after shot, and keep the line where you explain the plan.

Day counter or episode tag, always the same

In a 100-day movie the day counter sits in the same place the whole video; in an episodic series the episode tag and a 20-second “previously” open every episode, so a new viewer can start anywhere.

Roars under the voice

ARK is loud: roars, footsteps, weapons. I would keep the creatures loud enough to feel big but always under your voice, and save the full roar for the reveal.

Chapters for a three-hour movie

For a 2 to 3 hour movie I would add YouTube chapters at each big tame or boss, and level the loudness so the boss fight at the end is not louder than the start. Long uploads are familiar ground: Swaylemc’s full movies run up to almost four hours.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Five long-form videos I edited, chosen because their format sits closest to an ARK video: a rarest-dinosaur hunt, Swaylemc’s and Puff’s dinosaur mods, and Crazz’s taming and 100-day runs. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is ARK. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited ARK videos before?

No, I haven’t edited ARK videos for a client yet. The closest work I’ve done is Crazz’s taming and 100-day 99 Nights runs, a rarest-dinosaur hunt I cut for Vlad and Chris and Swaylemc’s full movies. All of it is on my YT Jobs profile. To see my cut on your own footage before you pay, ask for the free 1-minute test edit.

Can you edit my ARK videos?

Yes. Send a few minutes of raw footage from one tame or one in-game day, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours.

Can you edit a 3-hour 100-day movie?

Yes. Videos over 35 minutes get a custom quote. I would add the day counter, chapters at each big step and level the loudness across the whole movie.

Can you edit a weekly ARK series?

Yes. Episodes of 20 to 35 minutes land in the $300 package, and after the first one edits come back in 1 to 2 days. I would reuse the same tag, recap and cards so the series looks the same every week.

How much does an ARK YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your ARK footage
