Minecraft speedrun YouTube video editor for hire
I’m Kevin Tabares, a long-form YouTube editor. I edit long-form gaming for 1.26M–2.29M-subscriber channels (Mud, Puff, Rex & Alexa) and can edit yours: $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. My closest work is Madden tournaments for SquadZilla; I haven’t edited Minecraft speedrun videos for a client yet, so start with a free 1-minute test.
Free 1-minute test edit · From $55 per video · No contract · Revisions back within 24 h
9.8/10 average: 20 YT Jobs reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them a perfect 10/10
Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?
- Video types
- Tournament runs told as a story, coaching other YouTubers to speedrun, runs on the worst seeds, world record reactions and breakdowns, speedrun history and explainers, long sessions cut to the runs that matter, challenge runs (all structures, terrible controls)
- Editing style
- What I would do for a speedrun video: the timer and the split always on screen, resets compressed with a counter and the good run close to real time, one-line labels when a trick happens, and a bracket for tournaments. Close to the tournament structure I used in SquadZilla’s Madden videos
- Video length
- Speedrun commentators upload long: Feinberg’s recent videos run 32 minutes to 2 hours, Couriway’s 10 minutes to 2 hours 6 (measured on Oct 18, 2026), so most land in the $300 package or get a custom quote; record breakdowns of 8 to 20 minutes fit the $55 or $150 package. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
- Upload schedule
- One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
- Format
- Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
- What you send me
- Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
- Estimated price
- About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
- Channel size
- From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
- Turnaround
- First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
- Track record
- Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Who you work with
- Kevin Tabares, directly. I review every video before it reaches you.
- Channel language
- English or Spanish
- Terms
- Paid in USD by PayPal or USDC. No contract, no minimum.
- Closest proof
- I haven’t edited Minecraft speedrun for a client yet. Closest long-form work: “99 Yard Tournament with EVERY NFL QB!” on SquadZilla (247K subscribers), 57.9K views; “LEVEL 1 to 100 EXTREME Madden Tournament!” on SquadZilla (247K subscribers), 10.8K views
My experience and Minecraft speedrun, plainly
- Proven: My YT Jobs profile tracks 1,250+ videos and 147M+ views, with 20 client reviews averaging 9.8/10. I edit for Mud (1.26M subscribers), Puff (1.83M) and Rex & Alexa (2.29M); for Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.
- Not proven yet: Speedrun culture itself: routes, seed types, the bastion and stronghold splits, and judging which part of a run a speedrun viewer wants to see. My Minecraft work so far is horror mods, survival with friends and full movies.
- How to check it before paying: The free 1-minute test edit on your own Minecraft speedrun footage, before you pay anything.
Why me
- Tournament videos already edited: 10 Madden tournament videos for SquadZilla, each one a bracket of rounds that has to stay clear from the first match to the final.
- Attempts and resets already edited: Roblox obby challenges where every fall counts, the same rhythm as a run that resets until it works.
What big Minecraft speedrun channels upload in 2026
Measured on October 18, 2026. The record runs themselves are short (in the top search results they run from under a minute to about 8 minutes), but the channels that grow on speedrunning upload long stories around the runs. From the 12 latest videos of Feinberg, Couriway and Lewis Fulspam:
- Tournaments told as a story: “Mojang Hosted a Tournament, Here’s How I Won.”, “This was my best tournament performance ever”.
- Coaching other creators: “I Coached 2 YouTubers how to Speedrun for a Tournament”.
- Runs with a handicap: “Forcing the Best Speedrunners to play HORRIBLE Minecraft Seeds.”
- Record reactions and history: “Pro Speedrunner Reacts to NEW WORLD RECORD By Skycrab!”, “How Bad were Minecraft Speedruns 6 Years Ago?”.
- Long sessions where the video is the best runs of the day, titled by the feeling (“My fastest start ever”).
Feinberg’s run from 32 minutes to 2 hours and Couriway’s from 10 minutes to 2 hours 6, so the edit has to make a long session feel like it has a plot.
How I would edit your Minecraft speedrun videos
No speedrunner has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan. Each point comes from work I already do: SquadZilla’s Madden tournaments, the attempt counters of Roblox obby challenges and the news format I cut for Mud.
The timer is sacred
In a speedrun the clock is the story. I would keep the in-game timer readable at all times, add the split the runner is chasing next to it (ahead or behind, in green or red) and never cut inside a run in a way that makes the time look faked. Cuts go between runs, or are marked on screen.
Resets compressed, the good run in full
A session is mostly resets. I would show the first failed run long enough to explain what went wrong, compress the rest with a reset counter, and give the run that works almost its real length, the way the winning attempt is kept in the obby challenges I edit.
A one-line label when a trick happens
Most viewers have never run. When a pearl skip, a bastion route or a one-cycle happens, I would freeze for a second, add a short label and a replay at half speed, then let the run continue. It is the rule I use in Mud’s news videos: show the thing first, then why it matters.
Tournaments with a bracket
A tournament video needs a map. I would add a simple bracket that updates after each round, a one-line reminder of what is at stake before each match and a cut back to the bracket at the end, the structure I used in SquadZilla’s Madden tournament videos.
Two runners, one screen
For races, coaching or seed challenges, I would put both runs side by side when they are close, switch to the one that is winning when they split, and keep both timers on screen, so the viewer always knows who is ahead.
Record breakdowns built on your voice
For a world record reaction or a history video, I would build the edit on your commentary: the record footage paused and replayed where you explain it, the old record next to the new one, and chapters for each part of the run.
Closest real examples of my gaming work
Four videos I edited whose format sits closest to a speedrun video: two Madden tournaments for SquadZilla, a Roblox obby challenge for HyperCookiie and a Roblox Rivals news episode for Mud. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.
None of these is Minecraft speedrun. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ
Have you edited Minecraft speedrun videos before?
No, I haven’t edited Minecraft speedrun videos for a client yet. I edit long-form Minecraft for Puff, and I edited Madden tournaments for SquadZilla and Roblox obby challenges with attempt counters, all on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on one of your sessions shows you how I would cut your runs before you pay anything.
Can you edit my Minecraft speedrun videos?
Yes. Send one session or tournament recording, with your voice on a separate track if you have it and the timer visible, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form, from 10-minute breakdowns to sessions of two hours.
Will you cut inside a run?
Only where it is honest: a cut inside a run is marked on screen and the timer stays real, or the cut goes between runs. A speedrun viewer notices a fake time instantly, so I would rather speed a section up with the timer visible than hide it.
Can you turn a two-hour session into a 30-minute video?
Yes. I would keep the runs that tell a story (the first one, the close calls, the best run), compress the resets with a counter and add a recap of the result at the end. A 30 to 35-minute cut fits the $300 package.
Is this the same as your Manhunt page?
No. My Manhunt page is about a runner chased by hunters, which is a challenge video; this page is about real speedrunning, where the timer, the route and the record are the story.
How much does a Minecraft speedrun YouTube editor cost?
My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.
