Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
Valheim movies of one to three hours, restriction runs (no attacking, fists only, no boats, no base), hardcore day-count series, beat-Valheim-without-dying runs, co-op with friends, Valheim 1.0 guides and mistakes lists, building and base tours
Editing style
What I would do for Valheim: one act per boss with chapters named after them, the day count fixed on screen, the restriction stated and brought back when it bites, building in montage that ends on the finished hall, boss fights at real speed. Close to Swaylemc’s full movies and Crazz’s long 99 Nights challenges
Video length
Valheim videos are some of the longest in gaming: Jakk’s 12 latest run 1 hour 20 to 3 hours (median about 2 hours) and ThatGuyPredz’s 40 minutes to 3 hours, while Lucky Ghost’s guides have a median of about 20 minutes (measured on Oct 18, 2026). Movies get a custom quote; guides land in the $150 or $300 package. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
Track record
Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

My experience and Valheim, plainly

What big Valheim channels upload in October 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent long videos on three channels: Jakk, ThatGuyPredz and Lucky Ghost. Valheim 1.0 came out about a month earlier, and the channels answered with long movies and guides.

Search results the same day added co-op videos of friends trying it together (“Can 2 Idiots Survive Valheim?”) and full movies of a group of new players.

How I would edit your Valheim videos

No Valheim creator has sent me footage yet, so read this as my plan. It is built on Swaylemc’s full movies, Crazz’s long 99 Nights challenges and the co-op survival videos I edit for Puff.

One act per boss

A Valheim run has a built-in structure: each boss opens the next biome. I would build the movie in acts around them, with YouTube chapters named after each boss, a short line before each fight on the gear and the deaths so far, and the run ending soon after the last kill.

The day counter, always in the same place

For a hardcore day-count series, a small card with the day, always in the same corner and the same style, marks every time skip and carries over from part to part, so a viewer who joins deep into the run knows where they are.

The restriction, and the moment it hurts

In a no-attacking or fists-only run the rule is the story. I would state it in the first 30 seconds and bring a small rule card back every time it forces a strange solution, and show the first failure against a boss in full before compressing the retries.

Building in montage, the finished hall in a slow shot

Chopping, mining and building fold into a quick montage with your commentary, and the finished longhouse or ship gets a slow reveal with the music up. The time you spent shows, without the minutes of menus.

Boss fights at real speed

The fight itself stays close to real time, with the music building and a hit sound on the blow that ends it. A near death gets a beat of silence, and the reaction after the kill is never trimmed.

Co-op with every friend audible

With a group, each friend on their own track lets me balance the voices, keep the banter that connects two moments and drop the dead travel, so a long session with friends still feels like one story.

Closest real examples of my gaming work

Long-form videos I edited, chosen because their format is closest to a Valheim video: Swaylemc’s full movies, a 74-minute 99 Nights challenge for Crazz, a day-count survival run and Puff’s forest survival. Watch the first minute of the one closest to your format.

None of these is Valheim. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited Valheim videos before?

No, I haven’t edited Valheim videos for a client yet. My long-form gaming work is Roblox (Rex & Alexa, Mud), Minecraft (Puff, Swaylemc’s full movies), horror games and Madden tournaments, all listed on my YT Jobs profile. The free 1-minute test edit on your own Valheim footage is how you judge my Valheim edit before paying anything.

Can you edit my Valheim videos?

Yes. Send the raw recording of one session, with each voice on its own track if you play with friends, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos, from 10 minutes to full movies of several hours, and cut Shorts from them if you want them.

Can you edit a two or three hour Valheim movie?

Yes. Videos over 35 minutes get a custom quote. Send the footage and a note of the key moments (each boss, the big build, the near deaths); I build the acts around the bosses and add chapters. The longest videos in my portfolio are Swaylemc’s full movies, up to almost four hours.

How do you handle dozens of hours of footage?

Timestamps help most: a note of the moments that matter while you play. From there I cut the story first and then fold the gathering and travel around it.

Can you edit Valheim 1.0 guides too?

Yes. A numbered card for each tip, the tip shown in play right after it is said, and chapters so viewers can jump to the part they need. Guides up to 20 minutes are the $150 package.

How much does a Valheim YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your Valheim footage
