Quick fit check: is this editor right for your channel?

Video types
God-sim simulations (kingdoms fighting over a world), physics chaos and hide and seek with friends, build battles and big builds, full playthroughs of Terraria or Hytale as one movie, modded sandbox experiments, update videos
Editing style
Sandbox pacing: the end result teased first, building as a time-lapse with the before and after, chaos cut on the impact with the reaction held, a simple label for every faction or player in a simulation, and the narration carrying long playthroughs. The rhythm of the Minecraft and Bloxburg videos I’ve edited for Puff, Boffy and Robuilds
Video length
Sandbox videos on big channels run about 20 to 45 minutes (Gorg’s recent uploads 19 to 44 minutes, SMii7Y’s 22 to 41, measured on Oct 18, 2026), with full playthroughs of two hours or more, so most land in the $300 package or get a custom quote. I also edit longer: Swaylemc’s full movies on my YT Jobs profile run 60 to 234 minutes.
Upload schedule
One video only, 1 video per week, 2–3 videos per week, 4 videos per month or several a week (Mud: about 3 a week). Start with one pilot: the free 1-minute test edit.
Format
Long-form YouTube videos are the core. YouTube Shorts cut from each long video on request.
What you send me
Gameplay and voice recording, ready to edit, or long recordings that need trimming and story building. Separate mic tracks help.
Estimated price
About $55 to $150 per finished video (up to $300 for some long or complex edits), depending on length, raw footage and effects. That fits the ‘$50+’ and ‘$100–$300 per video’ boxes for most long videos. Four videos a month: about $220 to $600 (more for long or complex videos); a $500 a month budget usually covers two to four long videos, depending on length. Exact quote within 24 hours, after a free 1-minute test edit.
Channel size
From under 1K subscribers (Mr. Marticson, 834) and small to mid-size channels (ThatNoob 4.9K, Crazz 10.7K, DakBlox 82.6K: 0 to 2M+ views in six months) up to 2M+ (Rex 2.29M, Puff 1.83M, Mud 1.26M)
Turnaround
First video in 1 to 5 days, then 1 to 2 days; revisions back within 24 hours
Track record
Proven YouTube results: 1,250 videos tracked on YT Jobs and 20 reviews from 19 client channels, 17 of them 10/10. Long-term work: Mud since March 2025, about 3 videos a week.

My experience and sandbox game, plainly

What big sandbox channels upload in October 2026

Measured on October 18, 2026, from the 12 most recent videos of three sandbox channels: Gorg (WorldBox simulations, 19 to 44 minutes), SMii7Y (sandbox and party games with friends, 22 to 41 minutes) and ChippyGaming (Terraria and Hytale, from 5-minute update videos to a full movie of over two hours). The formats that keep coming back:

How I edit sandbox game videos

This is how I cut the sandbox videos I’ve edited for Puff, Boffy and Robuilds in Minecraft and Roblox. Where other sandbox games ask for something I haven’t done yet, such as a WorldBox simulation, I say how I would do it.

The end result first

A sandbox title promises something big: a giant build, a world at war, a game broken by mods. I tease that result in the first seconds, then go back to the empty world, so viewers know what they are waiting for. What the title and thumbnail promise shows up in the first 30 seconds.

Building as a time-lapse with a before and after

Hours of building become a short time-lapse, with the empty plot at the start and the finished build at the end, the way the Bloxburg build battles I’ve edited for Robuilds end on the reveal of both builds.

Chaos cut on the impact

When the physics break or the mod goes wrong, I cut on the frame of the impact and keep the reaction whole, as in Boffy’s test of how many mods Minecraft can handle.

Simulations told like a history

For WorldBox-style simulations I would give every kingdom a color and a name card, keep a small map of who holds what, and follow the story through its turning points (the first war, the alliance, the fall), with a year counter in a fixed corner.

Friends in a sandbox: the banter stays

With friends, the jokes are half the video. I cut dead time and setup but keep the comment that links two moments, as in the Minecraft videos I edit for Puff with his friends.

Long playthroughs as one movie

For a Terraria or Hytale run of two hours or more I would add chapters at each boss or stage, level the loudness across the whole video and keep one style of titles, the way I edit Swaylemc’s Minecraft full movies.

Real sandbox game videos I edited

Sandbox videos I’ve edited for Boffy, Robuilds and Puff in Minecraft and Roblox: a mod test that breaks the game, two Bloxburg build battles, Minecraft with a friend and hardcore survival. Start with the one that looks most like your channel.

All of these are videos I edited, tracked on my YT Jobs profile. Views from the YouTube Data API on Oct 13, 2026; links open the video on YouTube.

FAQ

Have you edited sandbox game videos before?

Yes. I’ve edited sandbox game videos in Minecraft and Roblox for Puff (1.83M subscribers), Boffy (2.12M) and Robuilds (261K): survival, mods and Bloxburg build battles, all on my YT Jobs profile. I haven’t edited Terraria, Garry’s Mod, WorldBox or Hytale for a client yet. Send a few minutes of your own footage and the free 1-minute test edit shows my cut before you pay.

Can you edit my sandbox game videos?

Yes. Send a few minutes of one session (one build, one simulation, one chaotic round) with your voice on a separate track if you have it, and I edit one minute of it for free, so you can judge the cut before paying. I edit long-form videos from 10 minutes to several hours and cut Shorts from them if you want them.

Can you edit a WorldBox or god-sim simulation?

Yes. I would label every kingdom, keep a small map and a year counter on screen and build the edit around the turning points of the simulation. It is not in my portfolio yet, so start with the free 1-minute test.

Can you turn a long build into a short time-lapse?

Yes. Send the full recording. I would keep your plan and the key moments at normal speed, speed up the rest and end on the finished build.

Is this the same as your Minecraft page?

Close. My Minecraft page covers Minecraft only; this one is about sandbox games in general, where Minecraft and Roblox are my proof.

How much does a sandbox game YouTube editor cost?

My price is $55–$150 per finished video depending on complexity; up to $300 for some long or complex edits. By finished length: up to 10 minutes $55, up to 20 minutes $150, up to 35 minutes $300; longer videos get a custom quote. No contract and no minimum.

Send me your sandbox game footage

Send me your channel link and one raw recording through the contact form. I’ll edit one minute of it for free and reply with an exact quote.
